The band is very tight. I can only fasten it with an extender. I currently measure 30.5 inches underbust and wear a 30 or 32 band, depending on the fabric/stretchiness. Wellfitting's calculator suggested a 30 band for a firm fit, but it's a bit too firm for my liking! I was unsure of my cup size, but this size was not it! I was quadding out the top. I usually wear UK 30H/32GG. I had much better luck in a cup size up (also will review that size). The bra itself appears to be well made. The fabric on the insides of the cups is soft cotton. The ...fabric on the outside of the cups is a luxurious shimmery satin that makes it much prettier than your standard basic beige bra. The straps have a slight stretch to them and are backed with a nice soft fabric for comfort. They are fully adjustable. There are 4 sets of hooks. The seams on the cups are not very noticeable under a t-shirt - about as unnoticeable as you can get with a seamed bra. I have ordered this in what I think is my correct size of 32K. This bra is really nice and high quality, exactly what one would expect from a bra manufactured by Comexim. It fits like any of their 3HCs. Despite the ribbon along the top edge, the bra is pretty open on top and would probably work for even/FOT shapes. Since I'm FOB with short roots, I might see if they'll make it with reduced cups next time. Wellfitting won't overlap the gore on this model, which was surprising to me since Comexim is willing to do that alteration on their halfcups, but that's not a dealbreaker for me.
Now that I've thoroughly nitpicked the fit, let me balance that out by ...saying it's a nearly perfect fit on me. This is a great choice for narrow, projected breasts, and the band is TTS. Apparently I forgot to write a review when I initially got this bra! But when I received it, it was much too big (but who cares, because cats, right?). I've been struggling a lot lately after changing size and a couple of days ago it dawned on me to give this bra a shot again. Thank goodness I did! I'm full on bottom and center, close set with narrow roots that slope up very gradually. My tissue is rather firm, so I often have issues with my projection and firmness combining to push too-shallow bras down, leaving me with little support. I ...was skeptical about the three-part cup construction, but the firmness of the fabric presses the tissue to my chest and into the cup (I think), which provides a lot more support. At the end of the day, the wires were still in my IMF and my back, neck and shoulders felt so much better than they had all week (desk job sitting at a computer 8 hours a day plus not having a bra that fits at the moment). This bra's measurements have been altered
It looks like the wires may have been altered to have less separation; one of the cups has some small holes and there's thread going through that isn't original, but I'm not sure what that is or does.
This bra has quickly become my favorite, it’s so comfortable and is easily the most carefully sewn bra I own aside from the 65G - Comexim » Ingrid Plunge Bra (289). There are two small fit issues for me. First, the cups are too close together, which isn’t an issue at the beginning of the day but by the end of the day I’m trying to escape out the sides. This is exacerbated by the second issue, which is that the band is too big. I am wearing the bra on the tightest hook, which works pretty well, but because it’s a little loose there is some room to exit the cups as they shift during the day. I would love to try this bra in a 65H, to see if these issues are alleviated. Either way, it’s far from unwearable.
This bra fits quite small in the band. I usually wear a 32 band on the middle hook even when a bra is new, but with this bra, I needed an extender. I have the same bra in the next cup size up and LOVE it- great projection, cups close together in the center, enough coverage that I don't fall out but short enough at the underarms that it doesn't bite me, comfortable. This one is just not the right cup size for me.
Also, this bra is made with latex-free elastic. Per an email conversation with Julia from Wellfitting, all their bras were made with latex-free elastic.
This was/is my favorite bra. It was comfortable, soft, and I was able to wear it for 2 years with proper care. Unfortunately for me, I ordered a slightly too large band and a slightly too small cup, I should have gone with the 38M as they had recommended, but it was so comfortable it really didn't matter that much to me. It was the best bra I ever owned and I wish I had found Wellfitting much sooner before they closed.
Beautiful bra, gorgeous color and lace. Just the completely wrong shape for me. Turns out I cannot wear plunges because my boobs keep falling out in the middle.
This bra was part of Wellfitting's Black Friday sale, pre-made. It was shipped to me with a wire that was popped out of the channel, hence the poor quality mark. The wires are the same wires as in my 28N, but since the cups are taller and wider they do not fill the channel completely. The straps on this are set so much wider than my shoulders that the top of the cup gapes horribly. I had high hopes for this bra, as I get compression pain taking off the smaller size. This bra is a good candidate for having the straps moved in.
This is the first bra that gives me cleavage! It makes me look a bit wide under certain shirts, but there is still some nice separation and great lift, and the apices of my breasts are front and center thanks to the narrow wires and overlapping gore. This is the most supportive bra I've ever worn. The vertical seams show through a bit under t shirts, but I've decided that it's worth it and helps counteract the east/west appearance. The wires are soft and pliable which is wonderful. At the end of the day, the bottoms of my breasts aren't sore (hurray!) but they do feel a bit ...squashed at the apices - this bra seems a bit too shallow for me at the apices. However, my tissue is pretty soft so this wasn't painful even after a full day of wear, and it's nice to have a more rounded shape than my usual tiny mosquito bite cones (which I reserve for when I'm feeling "natural"). This was projected enough at the wire, though it could have been more so to accommodate my natural shape, I found that the depth tapers off more immediately than my natural shape, helping to lift the tissue more than any other bra I've tried. Very comfortable bra. As with most well-fitting bras, the wires are very narrow which suited me perfectly. The wires overlap at the gore/are very close together meaning this bra is ideal if you have close set breasts. The cup on this bra looks small, but all my breast tissue was contained despite this appearance.
This bra is gorgeous, but unfortunately too large in the cup for me. I followed their sizing charts and made no custom alterations. In Fantasie, I'm a 38E and in Natori, a 38DD.
I got this bra on clearance because it had been tried on for a Wellfitting photoshoot.
MY SHAPE: Narrow, projected, short roots, close set, center full, even fullness (technically FOT but my short roots make me appear even most of the time)... Thinking I may also be low set, which I had never really considered before because my torso is so short it seems like it would be impossible, but lately I've noticed I tend to adjust my straps very long and never have issues with wires coming up too high in my armpits.
FIT: So close! As usual for Comexim/Wellfitting the band is quite snug and the bottom elastic ...hits my rib flare on one side so it does dig in a bit, but I don't think I'd want the band any bigger, plus they only had the one size on clearance so it wasn't really an option. The cups fit beautifully, jus like all my other Comexim plunges, although I seem to be slightly less likely to spill out the center of this one than my 80J - Comexim » Ingrid Plunge Bra (289) and 75J - Comexim » Elena Plunge Bra (315) . The only issue I'm slightly displeased with is the underwire length; they end too soon under my arm, so even though they follow my root and sit in my IMF just fine, my boobs seem to be able to spill over the top of the wire and I get impressive armpit flab in this bra. It's not uncomfortable, and this is a nice plain black bra, so I don't think it'll stop me from wearing this one, just mildly annoying. The hook/loop pieces on the back have razor sharp corners and they become even more prominent when the band is stretched, I'm hoping that this becomes more comfortable after washing or I'll have to keep wearing this with an extender just to protect my back. Unlike my 34K - Wellfitting » Meow Classic Demi (ALSO-KNOWN-AS-CATS) , the cups don't have the extra satin ribbon binding on the edge, so there is no ridge that shows through clothes. There is a smooth line from breast to cup.
APPEARANCE/QUALITY: Not as shiny-satiny as I was expecting based on stock photos; it's more like a black knit. The bows are oversized, but not as oversized as Ewa Michalak. It's very well made and very basic; I have a few tops where I really need something just like this because jewel embellishments show through. In general, I find Wellfitting bras very attractive and well-made, but knowing that it's just a relabeled Comexim puts me off their price tag a bit. The bra would definitely feel more luxurious and worthy of its normal price tag ($65!) if they'd used a satiny smooth material instead of the knit. To be fair, I did just go and look at the website, and I think only the beige and new lavender-grey bras are really touted as being satin, I think I just assumed this one was as well since it is a clone of the beige plunge. The jade and red colorways are clearly this same type of knit.
OVERALL: Decent bra, serves a purpose, glad I didn't pay full price for it! Read more 436 more words
I had a feeling this bra wouldn't fit but I needed to know some things about Comexim's 3HC cut.
Yeah it don't work for me. Despite the band being too long and the cup one size too small, I can tell even in the right size the 3HC lacks apex projection I must have. The apex is too high and there's not enough of it. So even on my small side which should fit this bra, I get a weird lumpy, fold-over on top of my roots thing.
Be aware, immediate projection and apex projection are different, and chances are if you are omega you need both.
Fits like my 44K - Wellfitting » Liftsational Longline Plunge except the band fits. Beige fits slightly better than black for some unknown reason. Gore didn't tack as I would like so I replaced the wires with 30HH Panache Ariza (got the bra used for $5 on eBay) wires which are firmer. I do this with almost all my bras now. It's still my favorite bra and after a month of wears I now have the bra hooked on the second set out of four so I know it will last a long time. I know lots of folks think Comexim and sub brands don't provide adequate support for bigger busts but I find that if you are short rooted, narrow rooted, and quite FOT Comexim might be the brand for you, keeping in mind the wires might need replacement or you might request very firm wires as a customization. With my need for a lower apex with plenty of projection at wire and apex, this is also the best cut.

The good: This is a beautiful, neutral colored bra that works very well as a nude with my pale skin tone. The fabric has a lovely sheen to it, the padding is lightweight, and I love the golden ribbon across the top. The immediate projection in this style (the 3HC) is second to none - it is the only bra I've found thus far that stays in my IMF.
Now, I've read quite a few reviews of both Wellfitting and Comexim bras in other sizes, and I'm the first person I've seen ...who finds the bras to fit really differently. I assume this must be because I'm at the far end of their size range. The measurements between a Wellfitting 44J 3HC and a Comexim 44J 3HC are pretty much the same with the exception of gore height (the Comexim is about three quarters of an inch lower), and that could be because the Comexim I have in a 44J is unlined, but they fit really, really differently. I don't think it's just because one is lined and one is unlined, as I tried another padded Comexim 3HC in a 95HH that fit a lot better than either of the Wellfitting bras, as well.
I also find the grading to be really odd in terms of cup width - the width increases a LOT when you go from 100H to 100HH, to the tune of almost three quarters of an inch. The wires being used in the Wellfitting bra also seem much softer than the wires in the two Comexims I've tried.
What this means in practical terms is that if you are in this size range, the Wellfitting 3HC is a perfectly nice bra in its own right, but it is not a way to try a Comexim 3HC without custom ordering. I couldn't get the gores to tack in either of the Wellfitting bras I tried, and I wasn't getting the stability I need with breasts my size and weight. However, having tried Comexims in what ended up being a size too large and a size too small, both bras worked much, much better for me, even though they clearly weren't a proper fit. I ended up keeping the too large one and seriously considered keeping the too small one before passing it on to my sister.
How does the height compare with Comexim's Original Plunge? Would you measure the cup height, too? Thanks! :-)
