This underwired Sports Bra is the one I reach for when I'm going to the gym or know that I'm going to be out jogging for a while.
The center gore is designed to lay flat against the sternum but I find the 28GG is a compromise fit for my shape: it cuts in a little bit near my underarms (where I'm not filling out the side cup really well) but doesn't quite lay flat at the center (where my boobs are full/soft).
The 28 band is a tight fit but I would say only a little bit tighter than other 28s from Panache - just want you want ...in a sports bra. I also wear this in a 30G which is a bit more comfortable at first but isn't quite as supportive/bounce reducing when running.
The thing I like the most about it is that it doesn't push my breasts outward, and actually the shape is very flattering. Definitely wear this one as outerwear. I own it in three colours: Grey, Purple and Black and wear and love the Grey the most. It looks awesome with a white tank thrown over the top and goes with all kinds of base colours on my bottom half. Then again I tend to wear a lot of black, navy, blue and pink exercise wear.
It's the best underwired Sports bra I've tried. However I don't find it gives quite the same comfort and freedom of movement as my soft cup sports bras. I would say this is the best "gym" bra I own and it's the most comfortable to wear post-workout because the underwires and even drenched in sweat everything is separated and held in place.
One quibble on quality: I wash my sports gear with med/hot water (for hygiene) and the metallic Panache Sport logo on the front center bra band peeled off within 2 washes.
Also - running while wearing the back in its racerback configuration gave me shoulder and neck pain twinges. When worn normal bra-strap style it's absolutely fine. Love the racerback option and hope to see something this nifty in other bras, but I wouldn't use it in this sports bra.
I got this bra as a give away from pretty_promise and I'm so so thankful! My boobs grew exponentially the last couple years and I had zero sports bras...I was wearing my regular wired bra to do cardio (booo). This is non wired, so cup measurements are tricky. The bra encloses my breasts without creating uniboob or compression. It's very comfortable and I feel supported with cardio and weights. It has a J hook in case you want to wear it racerback. Band is true to size I think, and is a 3x3.
As per usual, panache makes the best small-band and comparatively large cup sports bras I know of. This thing is amazing for high impact activity. My boobs do not move in this bra. The straps are also pretty closely spsced so they don't chafe my armpits.
I got this bra from r/Braswap. Since it is pre-owned, I think the band it a bit stretched out, as it stretches to 32 inches.
Unfortunately, the cups are too big and the shape is wrong. It's too bad b/c the colour palette on this bra matches with several of my running shorts! I read that this bra runs big in the band/big in the cup. Well, the band is okay for me, but I do think the cups run 1 cup bigger.
As far as shape, there is both empty space at the bottom of the cup- so just not enough projection and that feels uncomfortable ...-and at top of the cup, it just doesn't feel tight enough for a sports bra - there's no way I could run in this. Just not enough support. I would have to size down to 30FF, but I just don't think the shape is right for me. The shape from the front makes me look like a beetle (like, the seams remind of beetle wings - just me?) I don't like the profile this bra gives me from the front.
I think Panache sport is all about providing a nice profile from the side, but I honestly don't mind what I look like in a compression sports bra. IMO, the Panache Sport puts my boobs too much in the way...I'd prefer a compression sports bra. Read more 126 more words
Stats for reference: FOT, centre full, close & low set, soft tissue, short & narrow roots, and projected.
Look: Raspberry colourway, this bra has beautiful maroon (deep red-purple) cups and band which I think looks good with a lot of skin tones. It has lime green and violet (dark purple) straps which extend as accents along the top and front of the bra to give a serious burst of colour. It gives me fresh, fruity and fun vibes which contrasts well with my other Panache Sport bras (Grey Marl & Black/ Lime geo-lace). Although this isn't my usual style, I think it gives me a subconscious energy boost to have ...this bright under armour on during workouts!
Fit: I go into more detail in my other review (link as above), but essentially this bras fits the same as that one - a definite keeper! The band feels perfectly snug and I have enough strap length to adjust as desired during my cycle fluctuations. I feel super supported when using this for running, both with and without the racerback style. It's a staple in my bradrobe and only sports bra I rely on for physcial activity https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 115 more words
Stats for reference: FOT, centre full, close & low set, soft tissue, short & narrow roots, and projected.
Look: Black and lime colourway, this bra is styled with a modern black geo lace overlay on (what seems to me) a fluorescent/ highlighter yellow mould. It gives me fierce, don't-mess-with-me vibes with a splash of bold, statement colour. Although this isn't my usual style, I think it gives me a subconscious mental push to go harder during workouts because I feel so badass in this! It's a versatile piece due to the black, though I usually pair it with all black to make the colour pop (arguably no-one but me see's ...this since it's always under a top).
Fit: I go into more detail in my other review (link as above), but essentially this bras fits the same as that one with a slightly sturdier feel - I think this might be due to the materials used in the black lace overly. The band feels perfectly snug and I have enough strap length to adjust as desired during my cycle fluctuations. I feel so supported that I don't even have to use the racerback style for high intensity activity, would recommend 10000% https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 120 more words
This Panache sports bra in 28F did not fit. The cups were SO wide, it felt super wrong.
The wire felt like it cut way far back into my side, almost to my back. I have no padding so far back there, where the cup ended-- just skin and bones-- it was incredibly painful.
The band was fairly tight, although I could close it. I tried it with an extender - with two extenders, to judge if I should try band size 30 -- and more room in the band really didn't fix the problem at all. The cups were the problem. They were SO wide...
This ...is not the first Panache bra that I felt this way about -- their T shirt bra also felt grossly wrong shaped & wide, exactly like this. But other Panache styles feel perfect; I own a few balconettes in 28F that work really well.
Perhaps this shape works better for girls with more soft tissue on top? That squish outwards when confined to a sports bra? My boobs just don't work like that. They are super pendulous, like teardrops. And outside the boobs, I am skin and bones. I simply have no padding, unless the wire lands in front of me, not to my sides.
So this shape was just very wrong for me personally.
Not even trying any other size. Read more 119 more words
I have the same issue with back I am skin and bones I ask store helps me to fitting and they say this is my body I have issues under my bust too can’t breathe. (. 30) back and J cup I think the cups need more roomy more covered.don’t give up its wonderful bra when you find the right size.try one more size in cup and in band.
I was delighted to find that this bra is supportive enough to run in it - even without using the J-hook. I wore it for a 4+ mile run today on a hilly route, and while I am not the speediest of souls, I felt well-supported and did not notice any bounce, other than in the very tops of my breasts that are "above" the bra (which was minimal). Trudging up stairs and racing down them is comfortable, no need to hold myself. Jumping jacks and bouncing around like a hyperactive pre-schooler had no ill effects. This bra keeps you secure and supported without making it impossible to ...breathe.
The shape and support is extremely similar to that of the wired bra, though it does not feel as "secure" along the band due to the lack of wires. This does not seem to affect the actual support, but it does have a different feel, especially if you are used to mostly wearing wired bras, including sports bras. The wired bra *feels* a bit tighter and supportive in the cup perimeter, but again, I did not notice a difference in function. I think the non-wired version is slightly more closed on top, though I do not have a wired version in the same size for proper comparison. There is less separation of the breasts without the wires, indeed, it is probably more accurate to say there is hardly any. This has not bothered me so far. When lounging, the non-wired version does not keep breasts contained on the sides the way the wired version does.
Because the bra is less structured, sizing down may be necessary for better support. I also tried the 34FF, and it appeared to fit and felt generally okay, but seemed to have a bit of extra room at the lower sides. Fit was a little harder to assess without wires (I have not worn a non-wired bra in years, except for sleeping.)
The band is firm enough to support me but does not seem as tight (for the size) as my wired ones. I did not size up in the band, my loose measurement is currently fluctuating ~33.5-34 inches. The cup seams do not appear to be as flat as those on the wired bra cups, and the seams are somewhat noticeable under a fitted shirt, especially the side panel ones. The shape is pretty good, especially for a non-wired bra. Overall, a very good sports bra. Read more 302 more words
I bought this at Bravissimo a long time ago and I've barely used it since, which is a shame since it's such a cute sports bra.
QUALITY: Excellent from Panache as usual.
COMFORT: It was a good fit back when I bought it and could wear it, but now I can barely get the hooks closed and I'd just rather not consider trying it on again. I set comfort to "don't know" because I can guarantee it's a heckin poor fit, but I don't feel like trying it on and having it squish my breathing muscles! This is an encapsulation (and maybe compression?) sports bra, and therefore there's much less chance ...of in-between boob sweat since it has a padded, shaped gore to separate the breasts. I'd be willing to try another one of these in my current size for that reason alone (and because Panache Sport are sturdy).
DESIGN: I looove the fabric choices here. I wish it had the galaxy print over the whole bra and not just as the accentuation and decoration. I know they made one with galaxy over the whole front, but it was the wired one and it didn't fit when I tried it in the store. Navy/greyish dark blue with hot pink is a great choice and seriously have I said how much I enjoy the galaxy print?? Not fully adjustable straps isn't personally an issue, but even if it were, it has a hook on the loop where the adjustable straps meet the non-adjustable straps. It's pretty cool, and I'm sure its useful for people with shorter proportions. Read more 152 more words
corvidsandtea so did you have to size down for this bra, or did it fit in your regulrar size?
I think Panache could have made that print part of their core collection and made a killing. That fabric is so beautiful, and I remember reading a LOT of swooning reviews and posts, as well as lamentations by people who were not able to score one in their size.
Wilderness1 I sized up for it. I was a 28F/FF at the time.
AllyBra 100% yes! It is so nice, I would kill for a regular bra in this fabric or pattern!
I saw in heroom this bra in JH and J cups are new?do you hear anything?
maraki I don't shop at herroom so i wouldn't know if they stock UK J or H cups, unfortunately.
Today I receive the 30 HH grey marl .i mesure by bra calculator and put me in 30 HH and firts time in my life thi was true to size at first it’s a little tight but I think it’s stretched out quickly I love it
During my journey to find a bra that fits, I also decided to find a sports bra that fits. I decided to compare the top 3 companies for sports bras recommended on r/ABraThatFits: Panache, Freya, and Shock Absorber. My main goal was to find a sports bra suitable for running. For reference, I'm projected, FOB, center full, narrow roots, petite (4'11"), and normal bra size UK 28F.
This is my second Panache non-wired sports bra review, and it was purchased through Poshmark in gently used condition. After getting my first Panache sports bra, I knew I needed to have another one to rotate for running. I love the color ...combination on this bra compared to the black one I have. The colors are very clean and vibrant. Hopefully, the white doesn't get discolored with use.
I love the fit and shape of this bra! The band and cups are true to size and provide a very uplifting shape. I find the wireless bra to be more comfortable for running compared to the underwire Panache sports bra, since my ribs are bony. This bra is great at wicking away sweat and holds the ladies in place!
That's really pretty. I size down in the wired version from 34E to 34DD because I dont have enough top fullness to come even close to.filling it out and with my narrow roots the wires arent a problem a size down. Is this one as full on top as the wired??
confused This one is not as full on top as the wired, which is why it works so well for me! I can wear my normal UK size in this sports bra.
I tried to size down for the wired version too, but the cups ended up being too small. I ended up purchasing my normal size in the wired version again after seeing a really good sale on Amazon just to try it one more time. I'm hoping it will fit if I use the racerback, but we'll see! At least there's free returns with Amazon.
Its structured enough that if its empty some who would know lol as long as it supports you!
I saw in Amazon this bra in HH and J cups do you hear anything?
Sonya do these fit large in the cup? My shock absorbers's elastic is starting to go. I'm not planning on buy my next sports bra just yet, but am considering the panache wired sports bra since I've heard good things about it. I have a 30FF shock absorber that I wear now. Have you ever tried the shock absorber? How would you compare these two? Does the panache keep boobs from bouncing with jumping motions?
I did find it to fit big and was sizing down a cup size. With my recent weight gain, I have a bit more upper fullness and am finding it more TTS. They are tall and require some upper fullness. I haven't tried the Shock Absorber, sorry, but if you have a nice snug fit in this bra, it really holds you in place firmly- pretty much no bouncing at all.
ok. Maybe I'll see if I can find one with free return shipping. I don't really have upper fullness, so I might not need something so tall, but I'd still like to try it at some point. Thanks
Hello is very good the size on you .howdo you feel with white bra ? I never wear I am afraid a little
maraki- White isn't normally my first choice either. I already have some staining on this one from coloured fabrics. However, it was the least expensive colourway I could find at the time.
It was good price? Iam think of this .the wash is t th he problem
Yes- I believe I got it for $55 Canadian on Amazon, so no shipping fee either. It's normally $80+ here.
I buying in black.i can’t find it in my size, did you look in UK? Stores I believe is cheaper
I buying in black.i can’t find it in my size, did you look in UK? Stores I believe is cheaper
I love these sports bras. They are so supportive and give a great shape. My only issue with this one is it seems to fit a bit smaller in the cups than expected. My 28FFs were a bit small so I ordered this one in 28G. I'm a 28GG in most bras, but I've always sized down in this model. To me, this fits only a smidge bigger than my 28FFs- a half size up, at best. I have very little upper fullness, but my boobs (especially the larger one) are trying to escape out the top. Maybe the black ones run smaller??
After seeing this print in @MamaPagan's adventure I just had to get it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> I won't make a super detailed description of the bra/fit because so much has already been said about this popular model, just mentioning what I found different. I'm really happy that they finally fixed my only fit issue with the Panache Sport bras - the straps. Not sure if this is something that others have struggled with as well, as I don't remember reading about it. My problem with the older models was that the straps only had a sewn-on edge ...on one side, and the other side was just folded over fabric. This meant that the whole weight of the strap was sitting on one single edge. Even with the bra band holding the designated 80% of the total weight, 20% is still quite a bit, especially when working out. The cutting in wasn't noticeable for me at the beginning but it became uncomfortable when wearing it. I particularly wouldn't enjoy wearing the bra on consecutive days, which I why I had searched for other sports bras to alternate. This color (Lunar Print, or Neon Multi on Bravissimo) has two sewn edges on each side of the strap, which distributes the weight much better on the whole width of the strap. I already wore it for a couple of workouts and it's a definite improvement in comfort for me. After taking a closer look at another recent color - the black lace overlay - I saw that the straps are the same on this colourway as well, so I hope this is a tweak to the design that they're now applying to all new colourways.
Having already had a few of the older colors, the fit and the quality are consistent. This is a larger size than the other ones, but it feels true to size. I'd just mention that the inside of the bra (cups, band and straps) is not black but purple. Read more 234 more words
I decided to get 34H the 32H was good in band but when I get it in raserback it doesn’t covered all my bust updates it’s better to stay with 32H I have more secure to the band the 34 stretch out and I get it to tighten hook
I've worn the wireless Panache Sport before, so I thought I knew all about how large and tall the cups would be.
This bra has some of the wildest and worst scaling I have ever seen. The cups could be easily two inches shorter without issue. It's just so ridiculously tall.
Band stretches more than long enough for a 38 band but is a very stiff elastic so I need an extender to fasten it, same as before. It does keep everything pretty well in place, and I do like the colors. The cups are just ludicrously tall. Panache, get your act together and figure out your scaling towards the top of your band/cup range.
Hello you don’t get any pictures from this I think is very good bra I write my review down in 34H maybe I got one size down to tryout
That's great that you like it in a very different size. I'm familiar with this bra, as I said. I had it in a different size for several years. It's already sized down quite a bit. The scaling on it is still screwed up.
Hi I think I try one size down to see how it fits I am very confused about this bra you must add pictures to see others women
I don't need to add pictures, I've been on here a long time and that has never been a requirement unless someone is asking for fit advice, which I am not. If I went down further in the cup it would be too small. It is 100% a scaling issue as the Panache Sport is well-known for having very tall cups.
I understand that iam here along time me too.panache has very good fit but the size is strange iam 29 band and the smallest I got is 32 .i try shock acrosber this was out there I goes 36 and 38 .i write a review 34H I try one size down and see if you want take a look to tell me your opion
