Very unexpected deviation from labeled size! Band is extremely small and firm, and cups are very much larger than I expected--both deeper and taller, though the wires are narrow. I am usually a 32FFuk and 32G French/Euro. In overall cup volume and size, this feels more like a UK 28H or 30GG.
I did attempt to put it on. I can just about fasten it, but with a band barely over 29" fully stretched, I cannot wear this comfortably--it's too tight even with a 3" extender. Also, the cups are clearly too large, the lacy upper half sitting basically empty.
It seems well-made and sturdy otherwise. The materials are robust (padding is firm, wires are thick and do not bend easily). Elastics are wide, thick and seem like they would not become distended with wear. Straps do have some stretch to them. Lace at top of cups is NOT stretch lace.
This is a pretty bra. I think I just need one half or full size cup up. It does not lay flat on my sternum. I bought it to try the sizing of a Kris Line bra. It is very well made and pretty for an everyday bra.
This bra is lovely and I wish I could wear it without an extender. Based on the fit of my Kris Line Jasmine Soft Cup bra, and looking at what little measurements I could find on other Kris Line bras, I took a gamble and ordered a 30FF Mare balcony. It was hard to resist, because it was super on sale, and I loved the way the Jasmine fit. Well, that was a gamble I lost.
Not only do I have to wear the Mare with an extender, I have to wear the extender on the last hooks to get the full length. This is the first ...bra I've had to do this with. When I measured the band while stretched, it turned out to be a whopping 27"! Once I get it on, the Mare is comfortable, with the exception of the inside of the extender trying to scrape my back. The cups are partially padded with black cotton, and the green material feels almost like a soft stretch jersey material. The lace trim at the top of the cups is also slightly stretchy, and more importantly, not scratchy. The straps are just the right length and position for my frame. The cups come up a little low, but that could be because I should really be up a cup size.
This is one of those things were I was like "A Kris Line bra for $15?? Sure, I'll just get the size CLOSEST to my size that they have available!" I could really stand to cure myself of that habit. And indeed, the cups are too small; they runneth over. Oddly enough, they seemed more contained at the sides, which is usually the first place my boobs spill over when the cups are too small. No, what happens is that the top of the cups cut into my boobs. I thought the quadboob would not be too obvious under a dark knit dress, but I thought wrong! The thing is, the Mare lifts my boobs up in a spectacular fashion, and I can tell that if I had this in the right size, I would be happy with the shape it delivers. So far it has been my experience that Kris Line bras give a very lifted profile. It is not totally round. It is more like: round with a slight point. And because the gore is so narrow, depending on the position of the gore, your boobs will be pretty close together. In fact, if your boobs are already close together and you have issues with gores digging into your breast tissue, I highly recommend Kris Line in general for the narrow gores. Now, the gore on the Mare is also not as high as the gore on the 32F - Kris Line » Gladys Balconette Bra Khaki (GLADYS1) bra or the 65GG - Kris Line » Violette Soft Bra (6314). Kris Line is a brand I don't really hear much about. It seems to have been eclipsed by other Polish brands, which is a shame. I feel like you might be missing out if you don't give at least one of these bras a try! The Jasmine caught my eye when it was on sale on Brastop, and I read the few reviews I could find about it before deciding on a size. There seemed to be a consistent warning that Kris Line tends to have firm bands. With that in mind, I ordered a 32FF instead of, say, a 30G.
I probably could have gotten away ...with a 30G. Not to say the band is incredibly loose, but I have to use the tightest hooks. However, the bra is quite lovely. I love the color, and the lace is a nice touch. And get this: it's NOT SCRATCHY. I find the cup style is very similar to the Cleo Lucy (5851) however the resulting boob shape is quite different. It's one of those three part, unpadded cups. But unlike the Lucy, it seems to make my boobs quite perky and up front. Without a shirt on, the shape could almost be pointy, but trust me, I've had some bras that really gave me that pointy triangle look, and this isn't one of them. I almost want to call this shape "retro" because it's not uber-rounded? But it looks great under a fitted top.
The Jasmine is also a very comfortable bra. Its straps are set in a little closer and the cup height is good in that it doesn't gouge out my armpits, always a concern if you have a petite frame, or high set breasts. Yes, I have actually slept in this bra.

[Update]: The Bratabase info on Kris Line in general is that they are made for close set breasts. I forgot to add -- mine aren't close set, they are more average, with some splaying? Maybe this particular model is different. The gore *is* narrow, but I like it that way. I've found that gores that are too wide dig into my boob area in an unpleasant manner. In addition, I don't like my boobs pushed into my armpits, which some shallower bras tend to do. I like my boobs pushed forward and up. Read more 310 more words
Looking at the pictures, this bra fits me better than most of the bras I own, but there were too many fit issues on hand (well, boob) I had a strange cup situation where it cut in slightly on the top but at the same time I couldn't fill the deepest part of the cup o.O The gore was floating and the band riding up (it was a true 32, even though I heard it ran snug), so it was a no. Really sad though, because I *love* the shape this bra gives ( very uplifted, front and center) and the subtle but sexy details. The wires on this are *perfect* for me. The bra is also very comfortable and I will explore the brand further because I think it may be *the brand* for me. Highly recommend to every narrow rooted woman!
This bra, before it was too small, was the one that I wore whenever I wanted to feel truly lovely and sexy. It is beautiful. Details are gorgeous, shape is round and beautiful, quality is high. Very highly recommended.
This bra is amazing! I can't quite tell, though, but it may be a slight bit too small for me in the cups. It's hard to say, but the outside wire may be a little too narrow for me and may be sitting on a small amount of breast tissue. I can't tell, though, so I am going to say for now that it fits.
Otherwise, this bra is amazing! The cups have some foam padding at the bottom, but the top panel is only a small layer of jersey type fabric that stretches very nicely. I think if you did have one cup size too small, you probably ...wouldn't be able to tell since this fabric will not cut in and cause quadraboob. In fact, it stretches perfectly over the top of my breasts and provides the perfect amount of coverage.
The shape is not the kind I normally go for. It is very uplifted (which I like), but there is a slight pointed shape to it that I don't like. Almost like the green shape on Bras I Hate. However, this bra is so comfortable, I don't mind the slightly pointed shape. Read more 85 more words
I love the Fortuna, but I’m very sad that this one doesn’t fit! It’s at least 1 size too big because it’s baggy all around (top and bottom). The band is a great firm fit and the straps adjust fine, but unfortunately it’s just too big.
I got this one from Jagna, and normally I’d just keep it, but because this is a brand new colorway, this bra was $75 USD! So if I can return and exchange it, I think I’m going to. I have a message out to Jagna to enquire about returns.

Sorry that it didn’t work out for you! I find sometimes that Kris line bras are different from bra to bra even in the same sizes. At least you know where to start with what size you might need for the brand, though!
Cups are a nice depth and width; great projection. Band on the looser side - hooked on 3rd column. Very pretty embroidery. Straps slightly too wide. Slight quad boob on larger side.
Definitely a better fit that the 75Ks; still a bit small in the cups, particularly on the larger side. The straps and band have a firm hold. The lift and projection is great. Embroidery and seaming is beautiful!
Having a Goldilocks issue with Brilliant. 70I was too large, 70H seems too small. Gore floats and when I push it down, the cups quad. I would probably fit better in a 70HH at this moment in time. I’m not easily able to get ahold of a 70HH Brilliant atm, so I’ll have to stick with this for now.
I purchased this bra soon after joining Bratabase in 2015. I had very high expectations as I had learned so much after joining and was so disappointed by what I received as it was simply too small every where. I didn't perform any measurements back then but the band fit more like a 36 than the 40/90 this was supposed to be. Also, the cups were laughably too small and I remember looking at the bra tag to confirm the size was indeed 40K. After returning it, I realized the label did not specify US or UK sizing and concluded that these must have been US.
I discovered Bravissimo shortly thereafter and focused on this brand in the years that followed and have since not given Kris Line another look.
As I have lost weight I needed new bras because all my old ones were too big. I wasn't sure what size to go for in Kris Line with their sizing system, I had been wearing 75K and 75KK from them which had fitted okay before weightloss, so I chose 70J this time. It might also be the cut of this bra not working for me, because I don't have upper fullness. Anyway, overall it's a super comfortable bra, it fits relatively well, the band is comfortable and soft, the cups are a little shallow for me but I can jiggle my tissue into place to make the gore fit better so it's okay.
The embroidery with the gold detail is lovely and doesn't feel scratchy. The straps are per Kris Line standard quite wide but thick and soft, very comfortable. 3 hooks. Fully adjustable bands. This style is a half cup, not balconette.
It's definitely a bit big though, I could've sized down 1 more cup size, but it's fiiiineeee.
I bought three krisline sports bras(65J-K), because the panache sport bra wasn't available in my size at the time. This one should fit like a 30H, but it's at least two cup sizes too small. The other two bras (65JJ/K) weren’t much better. The underwire is wide and long for a bra this small. The cup is shallow especially near the wire. The band looks a bit less firm than i am used to in a sport bra.
