This is from my shopping trip to Poland! Feel free to send me a message if you want any more info on that. For reference, I believe that I had short, narrow roots with a very projected, omega shape. My best Cleo fit is the Meg then Marcie/Melissa.
First off, I was really impressed with the quality of the Kris Line I tried on during my trip. I know they can be pricey to get in the US, but the materials and craftsmanship are great and are worth it in my opinion. Probably one of the nicer brands I had the opportunity to try on.
This semi-soft has a fairly ...rounded shape and the materials are soft. The dusky rose and ivory/cream details make it pretty and feminine to me. While I love the decorative embroidery on half the straps, it does make it a bit annoying to adjust them short enough.
While the immediate projection is great for me, the gore is about 1/4" away from tacking.Pressing it down makes righty quad just ever so slightly. There is an elastic strip under the embroidered mesh top that might not make this friendly to people with tall roots or a lot of upper fullness.
The gore seems slightly shorter than Cleo. The 75 band is just on the verge of feeling too soft on the first hook, but not too terrible yet. I think a 70 on this might have been too tight. Read more 132 more words
I had little luck with Kris Line's semi-soft styles. Not familiar with the Anabel, do you have pics?
Yep, I'm hoping to add fit pics tomorrow night! I didn't have enough time after measuring 10 bras last night :P

This is the most beautiful bra - ever! I think I just died and woke up in bra heaven. Powder mink base with black and silver colour combo in a sophisticated design. TTS, soft, lovely detailing, narrow wires and projected cups, extra boning on the side. Exactly what I need. Had my eye on this one for a long time, but was not available in my size until now. Luckily someone returned it and it is MINE now!
I was really worried about how this would fit, because in between ordering this bra and receiving it, I had the opportunity to try on a Kris Line Brilliant in 65H, and it was terrible - Panache-wide wires, too tall, shallow in the bottom and empty on top. This, on the other hand, is exactly what I was hoping for, and I am confident in saying that this size, in KL half-padded bras, is my size. The band is a smidge big at 30", but I'm 29-29.5" snug depending on fluid retention, so TTS 30s are all a bit big, and the fabric isn't super stretchy, so I think it's fine. All in all, it fits like someone turned my favourite Comexim plunge into a balconette; in fact if anything, I'd say the wires are slightly better.
Hum. First the bra I received doesn't have the same lace as pictured on brastop. It is purple in the picture while it is actually gray and purple. Which gives it a less luxurious look. Also there was in the middle of the gore 2 awful plastic "pearl" that looked so cheap! I removed it, as well as I removed the little bow that was there, because it was midnight blue while the bra is purple, which looked odd.
The bra is padded, a lot padded, and we can't remove the padding. I had read I had to upsize of 2 cups with Kris Line. My actual size ...is 30G, and I tried a 32G, the only size that was available, so I took a try. But the band is really extensible and I think a 28 band would have in fact worked. The cups are really two small for me, as I move my boobs jump out of the cups. It is not just a quad boob effect, they just don't have room. Maybe the cups are also too separate for me - I'm never sure about that detail. If I ever go for another Kris Line, I will try a 30H.
Overall, for the price I paid it's not bad, but it's not a bra I can wear day to day. It has a cheap feeling to it, it is definitely not the luxurious brand they want to look. Read more 135 more words
The band feels like a firm 28. The cups are padded at the bottom, and I get a very slight quadboob effect but not enough to go up a cup. It does a very good job pushing up, making me look fuller on top. Pushup bras normally flatten my boobs, so I was pleasantly surprised that it doesn't squish my boobs. It is also pretty comfortable! If you're in between cups, it might be better to take the larger cup size.
Update: you should definitely size up in the cups..
I bought this bra off of Zulily. I hadnt gotten to try Kris Line yet and its a plunge with hardly any gore so i thought why not. I was pretty sad to see there was hardly any measurements to go off of. All that i could really gather is that they run small. I used a Kris Line size chart and some advice that i had found on a blog and added 2 cups. But then i panicked about going 2 cups up and thought that would be way too much so i cancelled my order and got the 65J instead. It doesnt matter anyways really because ...i think either one would have been too small! It doesnt look absolutely awful from the front. Well except for the fact that the straps are gaping away from my body at the top. There is pretty awful quadding from any viewpoint. I couldnt really figure out what was going on near the armpit area. Sometimes it was tight and rubbing against me and other times it had a slight pucker even though the bra was struggling to contain me lol. I hate that area and how the straps sit on me but i loved that the straps are super thin. Im not sure how functional that is at my size but its nice to see for once! One of the things i was really looking forward to was the gore. But i really dont like it at all. It may be short but it is way too wide for me! The band feels firm but stretches appropriately for its size i think. It only has 2 hooks per column but 4 rows. The material is very soft and smooth and feels great to the touch! I love that the gore area is lace And there is also lace accenting at the wings. The only thing i dont absolutely love is the decorative ruching of the fabric from the side of the cups over to the wing. Read more 227 more words
I LOVE this bra! It is insanely comfortable and is just a perfect fit! The gore sits flat without cutting into any tissue, which is a miracle considering how close set my boobs are. Besides that, there's no cutting in at the top and no wrinkling at the bottom. This bra must have been sent from heaven or something. On top of all of these perfect fit qualities, it's also insanely cute. Pictures really don't do the embroidery any justice. I'll definitely be scouring bratabase for more of these babies.
I feel like I could copy and past my review of the Black Diamond Plunge bra right here. The straps are painfully wide-set. The cups are too wide, too shallow, the underwires a Nike swoosh. The cup fabric is comfortable and the push-up padding is impressive.
What's really disappointing to me is just how much I wanted this bra to work out. The design is stunning. I love the navy blue, I love the delicate flowers, I love the ruched fabric. This bra is absolutely beautiful and it kills me that it isn't compatible with my breast shape.
I cant believe I'm saying this but - I wonder if taking in the gore would make it fit? try pinching the bottom of the gore together - apparently for some people it brings the empty outer part of the cup in where you need it, and makes it feel deeper?
Agree with dbmamaz Try pinning it and see if that helps, it does for me sometimes. It'll tip the cups so the top is more open. It's a simple alteration and can be reversed if it doesn't work or you sell it.
Thanks for the tip! I was thinking I'd just sell it and maybe replace it with a Kama Semi-Soft, but I'd love to see if this bra is salvageable. My big problem is the strap width.
Unfortunately, I don't think it'll do much for the straps. It might bring them in a *smidge* but not anything great. You'd need to move them in yourself. Not difficult, but may not be worth it if you can sell it and replace with something better.
I absolutely adore this bra. The silver color is fabulous and the details on the lace are to die for. Moreover, this bra is really close to being my perfect bra. The wires are narrow enough for me, the band is pleasantly firm, and the cups are projected enough for me right by the center gore (as I have center fullness, that's where I need it the most).
I do have a few complaints. The gore is higher than I like and enjoys sitting on the tissue of my right breast, for one, but it's not uncomfortable unless I wear it for a really, really long day. Also, the ...elastic at the top of the lace is kind of weird; the lace itself continues the projection of the cup and is almost too projected for me, but then where the elastic hits my breast tissue hasn't ended yet so it almost goes into quad-boob... odd shape, not quite right for me, but not nearly enough of an issue to get me to stop wearing this gorgeous bra. I picked it up on a Zulily sale a few months ago and have been pleased with it ever since, especially since my breasts grew to fill it better. Read more 97 more words
This bra is too small for me and this may cloud my review, however I was expecting Krisline to be good for my even top to bottom but centre full boobs with narrow root, but actually, I don't feel its any better than my Cleo Marcie was. The gore on Marcie was narrower (and taller to support the centre fullness), the wires are very similar width and the lace on Marcie was more accommodating across the top. I also preferred the Marcie lift - although the lift of this is better than my Bravissimo balconettes. I was a 34GG/32H and think I am now a 32GG/30H generally. This bra was paper labelled as 30J and I also tried the 30JJ both of which were too small with a non tacking gore (how uncomfortable that is now I haven't had one for years) and an elastic seam at the top causing quadboob
This bra is generally comfortable, and it's beautiful!
I wish the lower bump up padding was removable, because I have too much lower projection for the shallow shape. I like the openness at the top of the cups, it works well with my tall roots. The short gore is perfect for close set breasts. The band ran a little bit more stretchy than I thought it would, so I'm glad I didn't size up. The wire width seems to be average.
The metal hooks on the convertible straps sometimes irritate my skin.
This bra is a color I cant quite figure out - metalic steely gray and lavender? The lace details are lovely.
The cup is a great size for me and gives great uplift and projection. The lace and cup both have a little give, to make it an easy fit for my very different-sized boobs. The straps are fully adjustable, though I cant adjust them while the bra is fully on, as they adjust very low in the back.
This bra has a removable padding - i have not seen this feature before. The inner (cotton!) lining of the lower portion ...of the bra is in two slightly-overlapping sections, so you can open it up and add/remove the padding. The pads are thin, padded, but very large - they cover most of the bra. I tried them in, briefly, and felt it made my breasts look larger - which was not what I wanted - and also I needed to loosen the straps.
I'm not entirely sure why someone would want the pads, but they are there, anyways. Honestly, they looked a bit lumpy - but the entire bra is creased from being in its package so long. I'm sure a good washing would help a lot with that.
The bra band is clearly too small for me. This leads to two problems - the straps are a bit too wide, because the back of the band is not where it is supposed to be. Also, the back of the bra where the strap attaches to the band is too tight and pinches me. Read more 171 more words
The bra is deep blue-colored with flower/plant prints. The outer fabric feels satin-y and smooth.
The band runs true to size and comes with four sets of hooks. The straps have embroidered patterns on them, which is a nice little touch in my opinion. The straps are removable.
The cups are heavily padded at the bottom for push-up effect, and I think because of this the cups run smaller. My usual size these days is 28C and I get quite a bit of quadboob from this bra. I think it would fit someone who's 28B.
When I first got this bra I thought they had sent me the wrong size as the wires were so narrow but despite the low, narrow wires there's still a lot of projection on this bra. The top edge of the bra is slightly stretchy but still not suitable for someone FOT. I'm very sad none of the Kris Line bras are made for FOT shapes as they are of exceptional quality. There's nothing cheesy about the fabric; they are all very soft to the touch. Even the fabric comprising the back band is of the highest quality- I literally gasped as I touched ...it for the first time- soft and strong. I've tried everything in a K+ cup except the Ewa that I have on the way and this is by far my favorite in terms of quality and shape. Did I mention the wires are FLEXIBLE like Freya but the bra still gives a fantastic minimally-projected (far from pointy in my book) shape? This would make a great sexy bra AND everyday bra. No need to sacrifice comfort for looks! Read more 82 more words
I love this brand. and this bra. So pretty and perfect for what I want. good subtle cleavage, nice lace, good support. Lightly padded lower cup with lace upper. looks pretty when you can see it peeking out under your tops https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />
The band feels stretchy, perhaps because it is lacy. The cups are padded at the bottom for pushup. Comfortable, but not as much pushup effect as Sonia. I'm not sure if it's because the band is looser or the cups are slightly different. Either way, I thought it was more subtle than Sonia brassiere.
Wow! I literally jumped up and down when I first put this bra on! (It supported me well, but not as well as Panache Sport, haha)
It is a lovely warm-toned charcoal, one of the best colors for my peachy-pale skin. I wouldn't describe it as cocoa though, like Brastop and Kris Line do, it's much too silvery for that. It has a dark gold fabric rose on the gore on top of a silver bow, and some of the embroidery on the lace is gold as well. The cup pleats are interesting, I'll report back if they show through shirts or not, but they don't ...seem to. It has non-removable push up padding in the bottom of the cups that gives my FoB boobs a nice shape. When you squeeze it between your fingers, it makes a noise like packing peanuts, but when worn it seems to stay silent.
As far as fit, it seems like a pretty true 30FF, and everything feels great except the darn wide-set straps, which are VERY short. I have them adjusted as long as they'll go, and I'm 5'5" with a high root. They measure 13", compared to my 30F Deco's 17". They have a fully-adjustable design, but have a lace overlay in the front. I don't think it would be a problem because of their short length though. They are detachable, but too short to use crossback for me. I may just get replacement ones, I've missed crossback ever since I stopped wearing 34B's.
The band has 4x2 hooks and is very very very stretchy, 23" at rest to 30" stretched, and you could probably pull it to 31" if you tried. This makes it feel less supportive than my Decos which have a 26" unstretched measurement, but sometimes if my skin is feeling sensitive that's what I want. It doesn't give that tight pinchy feeling along the sides of my rib flare like the Decos do. It has side support stays that don't poke.
The gore is half an inch higher than the Decos, but it's so narrow (Overlapping wire channels! Hooray!) that I don't notice it at all.
The cups themselves have a short height and don't cover much of my breast, which I prefer greatly, but some might find them not supportive.
Overall I really like this bra so far! Read more 289 more words
I love low coverage cups, too. I guess I'll take another look at Kris Line. Pushup padding doesn't feel good to me, so I'm avoiding those kinds of bras. Did you know before you bought it that it was pushup? Was it labeled clearly where you bought it online?
It said "lightly padded" on Brastop. It's not quite as abrupt of a pad as the VS pushup bras I tried in the past, if that makes sense? But certainly thicker on the bottom than a Deco.
Okay, good to know. I'll be careful when buying Kris Line from Brastop. Thanks!
I heard this bra runs really small and the band runs firm, so I ordered a 65FF (30FF) when I usually wear a 28F/28FF. It ended up being a cup size too big https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />. I really love it and it's gorgeous. The cleavage is wonderful and I would love to swap for a 65F in this bra.
I had little luck with Kris Line's semi-soft styles. Not familiar with the Anabel, do you have pics?
