This bra is so adorably cute! It feels soft, like warm, gray flannel. The bottom of the band is edged with a gorgeous black lace, which really adds some interest and a pretty flair to a comfortable bra. It has little gray bows at the top of each strap as well as in the center gore. The straps are convertible, making this bra very functional for a variety of needs. The cups are made of a nice, thin foam that holds its shape and provides modesty, without creating bulk. I only wish this bra had fit me, because it really is a wonderful one to have in any collection.
According to my current measurements, this bra shouldn't fit me... It is several cup sizes too small. However, because I have very short, narrowish roots, the cut of this bra gives me a perfect round shape.It is just open enough on top that it almost fits like a half-cup.
The fabric does not stretch and is not itchy. The gore was a bit stabby when I first bought the bra but it has relaxed a lot. The band was average stretchy. The straps are comfortable, although they sit rather wide compared to the VS bras I used to wear. This bra isn't the most pretty thing to look at. It is kind of boring, imo, but I plan to try to dye it. I have had this particular bra for over a year and have two more just like it on their way to me now. I like this bra enough that I will probably try to pick it apart for a sewing pattern when it finally dies.
One final note: This brand uses US sizing. I *measure* at a 32GG UK size. Felina doesn't go past US size DDD, which is the same as F in UK. In UK bras the best fit is an E or F, depending on the cut. I do own this bra in a DDD, but I found that all they really did was make the cup taller, making for a really bad fit. (Again, I have really short roots...)

Not quite sure what's going on with the fit of this bra. I'm not going to post a fit check, as this bra is being returned. First off, the band is really, really not true to size. As you can see from my back picture, it both looks and feels like I'm being cut in half. It's supposed to be a 32" band but it only stretches to 30" at most. Size up in the band for this one.
Then there's the cups. It's hard to see from my pictures, but there is empty space in the top half of the cup. ...It wrinkles a little when I'm standing still and gapes horribly when I put my arm forward. Plus, I feel like I'm sloshing around up there with no support. The wires are the right width for my wide roots, but I'm getting wrinkling in the bottom center of the cup so I can only assume that this bra is too shallow for me. I never thought I'd find a bra that was too shallow for me, but this one seems to be it. The wires want to creep down out of my IMF, and the side profile has me looking very flattened and minimized.
The straps are very wide and thick and feel a bit matronly to me. It doesn't help that the front, non-adjustable part of the strap as well as the band look and feel like cheap polyester material. It's fairly comfortable and not itchy or scratchy, it just looks cheap.
The cups are a double layer of teal see-through mesh that has a vertical seam up the center. The gorgeous embroidery literally sparkles (I can see why this colorway is called Sparkling Ocean) and is only on the outside of the cup. It is not raised much and would probably be invisible under all but the tightest, thinnest shirts. The back, top edge of the cup has a thin plastic strip sewn along it for stabilization (you can see this in the picture of the back of the bra by itself). It has minimal stretch to it. I couldn't feel this part, so it wasn't uncomfortable, but I also didn't fill out the top edge of the cup so YMMV.
I really wanted to like this bra. The embroidery is just beautiful, but the fit is just so poor and unflattering on me that it's going back to the store (I got it from Herroom). I'm not really sure who this bra would fit, since it's pretty shallow at the bottom, with fairly wide underwires, but not terribly open on the top. Read more 345 more words

But hey, if it's not comfy and the fit is off, it's not worth it of course. Such a shame as it looks pretty awesome.
You can't see it in the pictures, but the top half of the cups have this wrinkled deflated look to the lace. Believe me, not attractive. Even my husband (unprompted) said it wasn't that flattering. And the gaping when I moved my arm even slightly forward was big enough to carry my wallet in! It was so disappointing, because the embroidery was just stellar and I really liked the color.
This bra is not my size and appropriately does not fit me, but when I was a 34A I found the band stretched too far and the cup projected too much for my shallow cups. The gore is too wide for me as well. I kept it and made temporary alterations by pinching 3/4" of the cup right next to the gore, which corrected the projection so it at least appeared to fit, which was all I needed for any purpose the bra was actually used for. The design is completely gorgeous and looks fantastic on my pale skin. I only wish Felina still made it and in my size.
I definitely give this bra an A for comfort and support as a new bra in a size I never once considered could ever work. It fits absolutely perfectly for me. There is no gaping anywhere and the underwire matches the width of my breasts exactly, which is even surprising since my right boob is about half a cup smaller than the left and there is no sign of it in this bra. The molded shape is round and flattering. The short, narrow gore is ideal for my close set breasts. All that said, the band is incredibly elastic so it will likely stretch out sooner than some others, but I only paid $9 for it at Marshalls, so I won't mind if I have to alter it later. I'm not crazy about the wide padded straps since I personally prefer narrow ones, but I'm sure it is a bonus for other people. It came with a little decorative bow that is popular in a lot of bras, but I automatically remove those sometimes even before I get home.
The body of this bustier is a really awkward length (others that I've tried on are either much longer or much shorter). As a result, the side boning pokes into the fat on my hips. Even if the cups had been the right size, this would have still been incredibly uncomfortable.
I love this bra. The fabric is so soft and it gives a nice shape under clothes. The only problem is after wearing for an entire day, the triangle shape at the base of straps where they meet the cup can rub leaving marks.
Me: 27" underbust, 33" standing, 33.5" hanging/lying Boobs are even or slightly FOB, full/wide on chest, close-set, firm I like tight bands. I wear 28E/F and tight 30DD
I really love this bra. You can bury me with this bra because it has not failed me for years--through my "Gee, I wish my 32DD bras were tighter underneath" phase, gaining and losing weight, and finding my real size.
I encountered this bra at a Nordstrom store and was mystified. I knew I liked the low cut & gore, but I was shocked to feel how tight it was compared to other 32 bands I owned--and it was strapless! I saw a 32DD ...as well (my size at that time was probably more like 28F, but I wore 32DD), but the gore was different and the cups further apart, so this size was the one I chose.
In 2010/11, I gained weight and a lot of upper fullness due to stress + Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and still kept myself on the loosest hook, not wanting to stretch the bra out, and I was pleasantly supported at probably a very full 28F/FF. In winter of 2011-2012, I lost 20 pounds of fat. My upper fullness took a huge hit, but otherwise the boobs looked about the same size and they fit in this bra just fine. Eventually, I found 30 bands existed, which lead me to the internet and I found 28 bands and proper sizing. The point is: It fit me the whole time because the band rocks (it's tight, wide, and has little rubbery lining to grip onto your skin) and I was never actually a 32-incher.
Now sometimes I wear this bra on the tightest hooks just because I am so used to tight bras, but I can get away with looser hooks. I have black and tan; they're old but still fit, perhaps because they're more "special occasion" type bras.
I have given this bra as a gift to many 28-band folks and they adore it. It is so practical. The cups are smooth, padded to add about a cup size extra, and cut in the best way--not too high, and not too much fabric in the middle so you can wear this with low-cut tops. I compare it with the Wonderbra strapless with the hands inside, which is more high cut, and compare it with the Gossard Egoboost strapless, which has far too much fabric in the center and you can never wear it with cleavagey tops. :/ This bra always beats out those two even though I think those ones have tighter bands.
So check out the measurements and see if you feel like risking "your old size." The measurements I posted are from my 4-yr old bra. If you're really a 32D, you might want to size up a band. Read more 361 more words
This is a really soft comfortable bra for me. I don't like bras that come too high under my armpits and this sits nice and low. The straps aren't super wide as well so I can wear more than just a top with sleeves or wide straps. It has three hooks in the back and comes down low enough in the front that I can wear most tops without worrying people are going to see it.
Super soft smooth fabric. I love the band. It supports evenly throughout rather than just squeezing on the bottom seam of the band. This is just the wrong size and shape for me. Cups are not big enough and are too far apart for my boobs.
This is the bra from Felina that was selling in Costco for a while though, as far as I know, it's not there anymore. It's a shame, because I would try and get this bra again in a different size. 36C is not the size that fits me, but I do think this would be a great strapless bra. The material is thick and shaping, it gives a nice round shape, but also pretty comfortable, and it does have a nice stretch and staying power given that it's a strapless bra.
Pretty! Deep purple with a light magenta underlay that peeks through a bit. Interesting narrow strap design with a padded felt backing for comfort.
Very narrow and projected bra. Although the tag says 32DDD (stupid US sizing, which bratabase didn't want to accept), I think this would fit a F or maybe even an FF. Band is soft and a bit on the stretchy side.
While the wire width is great for me, as a GG I just can't make the cup size work unfortunately.
Pretty cute color, reasonably comfortable fabric. May give less full breasts a pointy shape, top of cups can also push down on top of breast tissue to create less of a flattering shape. The biggest con for me was the shape it gave my breasts and the fact that I didn't feel super supported by the cup tissue. Biggest pro is the neon pink animal print color, if you're into that sort of thing.
This bra fits fairly comfortably, the Gore tends to feel like it is digging in as it sits fairly low. The underwire could be longer, as it allows some breast tissue to escape no the sides and the wire digs in to some degree. The cups themselves, don'g quite dil out on the top and some material is loose. the embroidery seems to gather in area along the top of the cups as well.
I normally wear 28-30 F-E. This 32 band is too SMALL. The D cups are also too small. The cups are 1 piece molded cup with some extra padding in the bottom for a bit of extra push-up. The gore width is refreshingly narrow (almost all bras are too wide on me). If I can find this in something that fits, the quality and comfort is really good for a strapless.
I normally wear a 34E UK (34:6) and I'm looking at this in the 36DD (36:5). Which is listed as a sister size. Would you say the band was one step too small or more than a step? I'm definitely nervous about the cups being too small but going all the way to a 38DD sounds like a good way to purchase a belt.
I can't say for sure, but based on my bra I say you would want to try 2 sizes larger than your normal in both band and cup. If where you get it from has a good return policy, possibly get a few sizes of varying cups and bands starting in that range, then get some more measurements into bratabase for the rest of us. 😉
The only strapless bra I've ever worn that doesn't ride down. I highly recommend it, but would size up to 32D if I were buying it again, because I have some quadboob in it. Great for shallow breasts.
