I don't like the way this bra fits. It doesn't offer any lift or oomph. I think it is not made for my breasts shape. My bigger breast slips a little. It doesn't fuller encapsulate it. It looks great on models but it is not just for me. I can't relate when people say it fits well. Matilda is a beautiful comfortable bra. You barely know you have it on. For me that's it. I wouldn't reach for it when I need support and lift.
I don't like this bra. It was a letdown after all the hype. The band was too tight at first and then become too loose and didn't support. I don't think the style is for me as it doesn't sit flat against my sternum because I am close-set and it is quite high on design. I find myself constantly adjusting the bra. The straps are wrinkled and stressed out π¦ I have had this bra since June of 2021. Morgan doesn't work for me. There is a bulge on my bigger breast. I have to keep adjusting it. The shape doesn't do much for meπ what a letdown!
I bought this bra with the expectation I would be able to skip while wearing it Boy was rough. Let's give a round of applause for false advertising and gullible fuller busted women. It is great for light work out like yoga but I am not wearing it to run, jump, hop or skip. My breasts are too large for that. I would like a sports bra that doesn't permit my girls to bounce ππ
That said it is a great fitting bra very comfortable with no spillage, no straps digging in, the J hook is all types of comfortable.
Hmm, maybe Enell? If you're in the US - there's actually many retailers and one can even purchase them through Amazon, but the last time I checked, Breakout Bras had the most selection of colours and sizes, these are made in the USA too. https://www.breakoutbras.com/collections/enell (disclaimer: I have not actually tried them, but have read good things! Lol. And there's supposed to be also top-notch quality.) B/c it is an expensive bra, I would keep the tags on when I try it on!
For general fit info, see my review of 38J - Elomi Β» Maya Plunge Bra (4210) which fits exactly like this bra but with a bigger band and very slightly taller profile, due to scaling on the larger band.
Same excellent fabric. This bra sports a heart charm. Band is firm but stretchy. I wore it with an extender and it fit well. Love love love the print which is adorable as well as subtle. It's sort of a must-have for a reader/writer like me.
I love the look of the Etta, especially in the pomegranate color. The fabric feels good on my skin and it is definitely good quality. The thing is after a few hours it hurts to wear! The underwires begin to dig in under the breast. I've never experienced anyting like it in other bras. This is my first and last bandless bra.
Pros: Super comfortable, I can wear it for 18+ hours without it getting uncomfortable.
Cons: It peeps over most of my blouses and camisoles, so I have to be very careful what I wear over it It seemed to stretch out pretty quickly, I've gone from wearing it on the outer hooks to the inner ones in six months. My band size hasn't changed.
The cups don't fit at all anymore, but that doesn't seem to be the bra. I replaced it today and was down to a 36HH.
This is a very sturdy and supportive full cup/coverage bra. It would be great under T's or sweaters. It is not stretchy, or flimsy, yet still comfortable with soft pretty fabric in warm carmel colors. My main issues were that the wires were just too long and poked my pits, and the center gore is just a tad wide. It did give me some nice forward projection and good lift and support.
This bra gives me pain to wear. I am beginning to suspect i got a faulty version (from ebay) as the underwires have bent into a sort of wavy shape, plus there is a lot of empty material in my underarm, but cutting in at the top of my breasts. I am just incompatible with the shape i think.
This bra is very, very pretty, with a double-layer mesh cup (no opaque lining!) and pretty embroidery along the top edge of the cup only (where it will not show so much through clothes) and nice details like decorated straps. The fuchsia is a lovely bright pink.
It is about as comfortable as an all-mesh bra can be, I think. It is "bandless" under the cups and has my favorite Elomi feature: the side-support panel. It makes a fairly wide and downward-sloped shape. The band is very stretchy.
It fits me best when I tighten the straps a lot, but then the edge of the cup cuts into the outside edge of my breast/armpit. The underwires are not too stiff and not too bendy.
Darn, I know some people really love Matilda.
These are great reviews, you tell it like it is! Lol.
