    Fits

Hooray! My first bra that fits!
    Pros:
The plunge is comfortable on my close set breasts because the gore sits low, but the lace comes high enough to enclose my entire breast. There is a lot of immediate projection, which is good for projected breasts.
My breasts stop right before my arm pits, and the wire encloses the roots just fine.
I have problems wire straps digging in to my arm pits, but this bra's straps fit me well.
    Plus it's super cute!

    Cons:
The band seems stretchy. I hear this is common in larger bands.
The side seam gives the appearance of a bulge on the side, but I think it's sort of an optical illusion. The fabric is laid differently on the side panel so the light hits the fabric differently.

Ideally, I'd get this in a 34F because the band is pretty stretchy - now it fits on the tightest hook. Sadly, I can't find that on the internet anywhere. Straps too short to use with J-hook. Cups will fill better once I widen the wire a little bit. Eventually I will have to take in the sides of the band. Wires slip down a little bit below the IMF.

I don't think there's enough initial projection for me.

    Fits

I bought this bra knowing that it was going to have a too big band. Elomi caters to the "plus size" set, and while I'm not plus sized, my narrow shoulders and round rib cage means that their cut works best for me (because they don't assume I have linebacker shoulders like every other brand does). Unfortunately, they don't make my size, so I had to sister size a 36E. (Although I might now be able to wear a 34G since some tissue has migrated back into it's proper place--when I ordered these a year or so ago I fit best into a 34FF.)

As soon as I got ... these (I ordered 2; one red & one pale pink), I took in the band to make it fit better. After that I just wore them. At first, I didn't love the mesh fabric that the cups are made of, but they either softened with wear or I got used to them. Or a little of both. A combination of poor posture and super narrow shoulders means that straps often try to saw my arms off; while these do rub if I spend too many hours in front of the computer, they really aren't that bad for the most part. And considering all of the whining I've done on here about that very issue, that's a pretty big deal!

    Low center gore
    Narrow strap placement (seriously, YAY!!)
    The perfect shade of red
The pink is a perfect "nude" for me

What I'd change if I were in charge:
Take the loopy bits off of the straps and elastic (picot edges on anything bug my skin.)
Increase the size range (more women with my shape would benefit from at least being able to see if it worked for them)
Decrease the frame length or make it frameless (the bottom of the band curls up, I HATE that!!)
Even though I'm petite, I'd make the wires about 1/2" longer under the arm only.

Definitely give this brand/style a try if they have your size!

    Didn't fit

I like this bra. It’s snug through the band-I definitely noticed it was on my body-but that isn’t an issue for me. I had to adjust the straps a lot until I got the right fit, and on my larger breast this cut in just slightly at the top. Again, this wasn’t so bad that I didn’t wear the bra. It was virtually unnoticeable under my shirt. Had I had a tighter shirt on, it probably would have been noticeable. Comfy fabric, so comfy. My two concerns were the bulge under my arms, which I suspect is migrated tissue from wearing ... poorly fitted bras for the last 40 years or so, and the bulge wasn’t enormous but I did see it. The other issue was my smaller breast (left) had a bit of a pointy shape in this cup. I had to swoop and scoop several times during the day to smooth it out, but it happened repeatedly. My larger, right breast looked amazing in the bra, though. Fit it perfectly. Smooth, round and full. One thing I will add. Because I have worn such bad bras I am not used to the back strap staying solidly in place throughout the day. I kept checking it to make sure it wasn’t riding up, because it felt ‘high’ on my back. Nope, it stayed put and didn’t ride up at all. It settled nicely in my back folds and never budged. I liked the bra and will keep it/wear it again. I do need pasties for it though because my nipples were very evident under my shirt. Nice bra, relatively good fit and great support.

    Didn't fit

I burned out on trying to find a bra that I felt like actually fit last year, but I'm kind of direly in need of some that work for me. So on a whim, since I had never tried Elomi before, and I found one for cheap on Amazon, I figured I'd see how it worked out. I heard this brand is mostly better for FoB, which I am not, but I am kind of 'even' so I thought I might try it to see how it did. Unfortunately, since I'm also pretty firm, the elastic band they're using on the top really cuts into ... my breast tissue, so this is definitely not going to work for me.

I did really like the feel of the band (firm for a 36, which is actually ideal for me since I'm sort of borderline 34-36 but find the 34s don't have enough give to be comfortable and the 36s are often too stretchy) and the straps seemed to have good placement. Didn't want to wear it too long since it was going to go back, so I'm not sure how it would do over time.

Comfycurvy on blogspot's review suggests Elomi's half cup can work for FoT shapes, though, and since I did like the strap/band, I'm tempted to try a half cup as well to see how it works for me.

This is basically the 36E - Elomi » Betty Plunge Bra (8170) , just in different fabric.

What I'd change if I were in charge:
Take the loopy bits off of the straps and elastic (picot edges on anything bug my skin.)
Increase the size range (more women with my shape would benefit from at least being able to see if it worked for them)

Totally petty, but I don't love this colorway. I got it on clearance though, so...

Definitely give this brand/style a try if they have your size! Or, on second thought, since this one seems to be discontinued, don't--or at least not the ones that might fit me! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />

  8. Lara Full Cup (8062)

This is really the most perfect bra for me at this weight I've EVER owned. Extremely supportive and comfortable and some people may think it's boring but I'd rather take supportive and comfy over something cutesy and uncomfortable. You would have to be ok with a full cup bra which I am but it doesn't seem to be a huge bra if that makes sense. I'm 43 almost 44 and the girls are showing their age a bit and I need a bra that will really hoist them up instead of just holding them. They are not as firm as they once were but not too saggy either. It's awful this has been discontinued because it fits like a dream on me

I waited for a couple of wearings before writing this review, but I'm now ready to say - I LOVE this bra! Comfortable shape, no gaping at the top, breasts stay in place - I have found my OTL (one true love!). I bought this in both the nude and purple and look forward to wearing them all summer. Best bra I have found in a while! I did size up from my usual 36DD and found that that the E was great fit.

Cups are now too small (dang weight gain again), and the band is a little stretched out. I sewed in an extender to add hooks for a tighter fit. But when I hook it where I like it, my boobs really pop out the sides and top. Would love to replace this with current size, or just loose the weight! Fantastic bra. It gives me kind of a pointy boob shape, I've always called this my alien bra. Kinda sci-fi with the cone boob. Great support. I had this bra before I lost 130 pounds, it was in a 40G. Loved it then too.
