This bra feels comfortable and supportive. I bought a 38J because I need the cup volume of a 34KK and this bra stops at a J-cup. I need to wear the band on the tightest setting. The band does not ride up but I have some weird empty fabric on the bottom and sides of the cups.
Also I find it kinda generous on top, would have even a bit of spare room there. I will try the 36J because this bra is 1 cup and 1 band size too big for me.

This bra did not offer me sufficient support. I returned it after it failed a basic bounce test. The fit was mostly good and the shape was better than I'm accustomed to with sports bras, but it failed in its basic function so it was of no use to me.
I sized down from my normal cup size and I recommend you do the same if you purchase this bra.

My feelings on this bra are mostly positive: there's a bit of east-and-west going on, yes, and it does come up quite high, but the cups do encapsulate the entire breast tissue. No jumping out over the top! The wires sit flat at the sternum and the support is very good. I did have initial difficulty getting the 4 hooks done up. Either it's loosened or I've smallened or both because it's not a problem 2 months later.
I wouldn't wear it as an everyday bra, because it shows at the neck of most of my tops and the seams would be pretty visible.
But as a sports bra it's really very good, and that's why I bought it.

I couldn't run in it (before I shrank out of it) because my knees aren't running-friendly, but it did pass the "jump up and down on a hard surface and see if it hurts" test. I hope that helps! It was one of the best sports bras I had, and I'm sad they don't make bands less than 32 in (I have lost a fair few kilos since then)!
Thanks for replying :) so you couldn't feel pain, always good, but was there any visible bounce and how much? I'm really thinking about buying it but I'm so sick of expensive returns so that's why I'm asking a lot of questions. Also if you don't mind me asking what shape is your bust? Are you fuller on bottom? I think different shapes have different experiences regardless of size. I really appreciate your help

My shape: definitely fuller on bottom, narrow-ish root. The underwires on this style are probably a fairly normal width for a sports bra, from memory - narrower than Freya Active, anyway, if you've tried that on. From what I've noticed, sports bras do tend to run wider and less projected in the cup, so there's always a tiny bit of compression going on ...
No individual breast bounce, a bit of "continental shelf" movement when jumping up and down. They didn't move relative to the skin on my chest - it more moved as a unit. I think that's kind of inevitable though, what with my breasts weighing 2+ kg each and skin being elastic.
Thanks so much :) Ive been researching a bit today and I think I'm gonna try the Enell next instead as it claims to have no bounce at all and ideally that's what anyone would want.
The Elomi Energise 42 FF(UK) fits and feels firm (as sports bras tend to) but fine. The size of the cups is too small as there is a little spillage out the top of the front and the sides under the arms. Beggars cant be choosy and I have not found a more supportive bra in a band size bigger than 42FF. I am always looking though , so will take any suggestions offered. Still with the extra material and support, it holds everything in better than a regular bra, and my solution is to double up with a second bra. I pair it with a Goddess sports bra (5056) which covers the spillage and flattens everything into a secure package. It does not remove all the bounce, but it does reduce it, so I don't get whiplash during an aerobics class. As I said if there are any suggestions for alternatives that have worked, I am open to hearing about them.

I wear an Enell custom fit (larger cups in front, smaller band in back). Total lockdown. Custom is more expensive but not punatively so, definitely worth owning

No Padding (so already a no from me, personally. Missed that when ordering) Wires are far too wide, they probably would fall off the side of my torso if the band didnt keep them wrapped around my side. There's like 3-4 finger's width between the wire and the root of my tissue. Placement isnt super irritating, except where the bottom outside is sort of jabbing into my side. Since this is still my cupsize volume- the tissue is fighting the middle a lot and top of the bra quite a bit. it also still feeling like my tissue is being pushed under my arms ... somewhat. I would probably be ok working out in this aside from the wires and too much center compression. (I feel like Im working out pushing back against that) The gore seems ok? hard to tell with the rest that's happening like the top of the neckline almost being flipped outward from the stress. Not for me. Weird cause the Elomi Cate in a 34H was something that actually seemed to fit before (besides me not likeing un padded/moulded stuff)- maybe I know more about a proper fit now?

Cups are now too small (dang weight gain again), and the band is a little stretched out. I sewed in an extender to add hooks for a tighter fit. But when I hook it where I like it, my boobs really pop out the sides and top. Would love to replace this with current size, or just loose the weight! Fantastic bra. It gives me kind of a pointy boob shape, I've always called this my alien bra. Kinda sci-fi with the cone boob. Great support. I had this bra before I lost 130 pounds, it was in a 40G. Loved it then too.

Very uncomfortable bra. The under wires are very, very stiff and caused bruising on my ribs after wearing this for a couple of hours. This bra gives me a very east/west look & the seams show under shirts.

This bra is extremely difficult to fasten due to the vertical width of the band and it having 4 hooks.
It's hard to say what I think about this bra because it doesn't really fit right. (As usual, I would do much better with something like a 32K, but it doesn't come any smaller band or bigger cup.)
The material is thick and fairly stiff, which is good for a sports bra, it helps make it pretty suppportive.
The straps are relatively close together, and slightly pointed in, which I actually like for the purpose.
I really can't get past how hard it is to put on (and even to take off) without yanking the hooks out of their attachment.

Does it give good control for up/down bounce? How much control would you say it gives in %
could you run in it without a lot of bounce?
