Using ABTF, I calculated my measurement to be 40H/40HH (UK) as a starting point. I’ve seen a few reviews saying this should may run a little small. It does contain all my breast tissue, but the wire eventually starts to irritate me as it is taller and wider than what is ideal for my shape and frame. Aside from that though, this is the first bra that lifts and supports my breasts and for that - I love it. I’ve learned more about bras and my shape in the last few weeks then I have in my whole life. My shape has major projection and I’m full on top, with minimal on bottom. I’m not entirely sure if the 40GG would have been a better fit, but I believe a smaller cup size (the 40 band is perfect for me) would not elevate the issues I have with the height and wire (wire leads under my arm past my root) Still learning but this was a good first try. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I think sports bras sometimes fit a bit different than regular bras, but that does look slightly big on you. Elomis also tend to run wide. Hopefully you can find some even better fitting bras in the future!

Thanks so much! I think I saw @Elomi has one that might not be as wide. I think it's the Morgan style - I'll definitely try to experiment with smaller cups sizes. I recently picked up the panache Sports Bra 40GG and it's a bit too small in the cup. So I'll definitely have to keep note of the different brands and their fit. Whereas the 40H may have been too big in Elomi, it may have been perfect in panache if that style had gone that size. Or it could be the shape of the bra.. This is definitely an art. Heh :)

    • congratulatons on finding a bra thats fit so well. It is a lovely bra and does looks to fit you quite well.

    • "definitely an art"--totally agree, 50shadesofviolet Thrilled you can love this one! Best of luck during your search!

This is my regular size in Elomi. I usually size down one cup from my Panache/Curvy Kate size.

Fit: I had no support and containment in the cups because there was no projection at the bottom so my breast tissue spilled out the armholes (which were super high!). Also, it was so tall on the sides it was quite uncomfortable to move my arms (not great for activities). It was SO POINTY. My breasts actually couldn't fill out the points completely. A really terrible shape on me in general. The band, however, was just right: firm and supportive without cutting off air.

Comfort: Nice soft thick fabric. Elomi's elastics and materials are always top of the line. The thick straps were also quite comfortable. However, the fit precluded any real comfort.

Style: I liked the bright red-pink, which is Elomi's thing (I have three or four bras from them in a similar color). If only the fit was right!
