I really wanted to like this bra. It looks really cute. But it doesn't feel comfortable to wear. I can fit more than two fingers on the band but it still feels tight/uncomfortable due to the wires being way too wide for me. The gore isn't really comfortable either since it's too high. I can't fully fill in the cups on the top or bottom part. The band fits great but this is the wrong size for me. I probably should have tried 28D.
I have conical breasts that act more like full on bottom/projected/short roots. This bra is my best fit so far! There is some wrinkling at the top of the cup on my smaller side, but it fits my larger one really well! The band is firm. The only concerns I have are that the lace doesn't lay well under thin fabrics and it really shows my pointy shape. However, I am used to molded cups, so this will just be an adjustment for me. I like how this bra props up my breasts!
Update: Sadly, I ended up not keeping this bra, as the uneveness of the lace and pointier shape bothered me when I wore it out in public. I still think it is a very pretty bra, but probably would not be very functional with my wardrobe.

I sized down in the cup because reviews were saying this cut runs large/tall, and that's definitely true. It was a good fit for me when I was fitting in 28Es. The black 30DD I got at the same time was a bit empty at the top of the cups until I gained enough weight to wear 28Fs.
+1 to Cleo for putting boning in this longline so it doesn't flip up like some brands (looking at you, Freya).

The cups are also too tall for me. I have a lot of empty space at the top of the cup, especially when I place the underwire at my IMF (where they should be). The band is a little larger than other 28 bands I've tried.
I tried the 30DD and this one. I don't know which one fit worse, which makes me sad. I really wanted this one to work.
The 30DD was too big in the cup and the tightness of the band was alright. After trying to fit my breast tissue into the cup, I could see the wrinkling at the top for both breasts, and there was the bulge under my arms.
Whereas the cup and the band were too tight. I got quadboobing immediately after scooping and swooping, and the bulge under my arms was quite prominent.
I'm very sad, as I was looking forward to trying this bra and hoping it would be a great fit.
This bra was fantastic when I was 28DD, good for my even, tall, shallow boobs. Too small in the cups for me now, the top line cuts in and I spill out. Such a vibrant pretty colour scheme and the lower cups are lined with a soft mesh inlay.
WAY too big in the cups. While a 28DD in Freya longlines fit me perfectly (narrow, projected), this fits at least two cup sizes too big. Unfortunately I had to send it back before I discovered this site and could offer measurements. I was very disappointed, because the band fits me much snugger than Freya's stretchy bands.
This is the first bra I own that really is my size. At first it felt really tight but I was used to much bigger bands so it got better as I got used to it. The cups fit well but the lace is a bit loose near the middle. It is easily fixable though. Also the vertical seam gives a bit of a pointy shape but it got better after wearing it a couple times and it's not that noticeable anyway. All in all, it is well worth it as these details are very minor... and it looks great!
I got this bra about a year ago and it sort of fit. I can't remember in detail, but I think it was too wide and maybe a little too large for me at the time. I've grown about a cup size since then and it fits pretty well now. It's still a bit too wide for me and the straps are too wide-set, but it's tolerable. I'd say it's moderately shallow, maybe just a hair too shallow for me now. Gives some pretty good cleavage, though.
Polka dot bras are my favourite and this one delivers in the cuteness factor. I have to agree with other reviews in that this bra is more suited to the full on top shapes. As is, with my fuller on the bottom shape, the top of the bra is a wrinkled saggy mess. I also find that visually, the lace portion is too wide for the smaller bras. Maybe it is more balanced on larger sizes. While I marked down that this bra does not fit, with a slip of the needle, I was able to fold the lace down to make a more open shaped bra and to put my bosom on better display.
Comfort wise, the fabric is a bit scratchy, though perhaps it will soften with time. Thanks for the bratabase bargain and my first Cleo bra!
The bra is really well made and pretty for a strapless, so I was bummed it didnt fit. The 28E was too small in the cups for me, giving me quad boob, although I have noticed I need an F with Cleo bras. Even in the right size, I dont think this bra would be flattering. The cups are very flat and wide. I do prefer the wires to extend into the armpit area, but these are not just wide wires, but a strange shape with flat cups. It made my boobs have less projection (which I need MORE of), but sort of flattened and spread out...I didnt like the look under clothes. I naturally have a teardrop shape that is not as full on top and actually look better in bras that give a kind of retro bullet shape or which lift and project instead of smashing into an unnatural round shape. So the hunt for a strapless bra continues....
This is a wonderful T-Shirt bra for support and round shaping. My only problem with it is the straps are set SO WIDE. This is not noticeable under clothing, although it can irritate my skin when the weather is hot. I hate "traditional" push up bras that are stuffed with awkward padding. This bra is lined, but not padded, and its shape gives me what I would like from a "push-up" bra without adding bulk. Because my bras size is so small, every extra bit of padding/bulk/adornment gets in the way of "natural" shaping. Maddie is similar to my favorite bra ever, Panache Porcelain, but Maddie is better for low-cut clothing.
At first the center wires poked my sternum... I put some padding under them, and after a couple of wearings I don't need the padding any more. So the wires must have conformed to my body. But there's still something not quite right. The straps are a little wide-set for my narrow shoulders.
I've worn the bra several times for full days and it's broken in nicely. I had to alter the straps: I need them at their longest, which placed the sliders uncomfortably at the top of my shoulders right on the bone. I cut off the sliders and sewed the ends together.
Got for daughter so can't really write a review about how it fits me, as it doesn't lol. She's 12 and rapidly growing... I might have to set up her own BTB account to keep her bras off mine https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
This makes my boobs look great! Only caveat is that I need to have impeccable posture or else this gapes at the top of the cups, creating visible lines underneath shirts. The straps can get a little irritating after a day of wear, which is something I've never experienced before.
Sonya , you are correct Cleo Maddie is not known for lots of space right above the wire.
