    Hasn't set fit

Gorgeous bra, just a little too small for my larger breast. Had to go up a cup size to accommodate!

  2. This 65H Chantelle C Chic Sexy Plunge (3641) in Orange fits quite well. If I were to keep this, I would sew the underwires closer together at the gore. The gore is only 1.75" high, which is good for close-set me, but it seems an easy alteration on this particular bra. The gore is just a bit stabby.

The amount of my torso covered by these well fitting cups is excessive. Since I have ample underwire width and height under the arms, I've ordered the same bra but in a purplish blue color from Nordstrom in the next cup size down. This one is a UK 30FF, and the one in the mail is a UK 30F.

I was surprised by how much I liked the orange, which is a fresh, citrusy, clear, juicy color, like a real fruit. There's nothing earth tone or pastel about this color. I didn't know I liked orange or that it could flatter someone with cool undertones.

This fit well, with the caveat that the center gore, which is only 1.75" and thus a decent height for my close set boobs, is too separate. I would, if I were keeping this, remove the center gore decoration, sew the underwires so they overlapped, and sew the decoration back on.

The fit is good, though the sheerer upper mesh part is a little loose. This reminds me of how my red Cleo Marcie fit before I broke it in and it molded to my body. The fabric does cover a fair amount of my chest, at least for my taste.

The underwires go pretty far back on the sides ... and are pretty high on the sides. This is not a complaint. Besides needing a low center gore because of my close set breasts, I also need fairly wide and high underwires under the arms because I have a lot of side tissue. My naked shape from the front is very round.

I tried this in 32E in Blue, as the paper tag describes the color. It's a dark blue without veering into navy blue territory. The band could be tighter. I don't need it to be because the underwires are high enough and wide enough. When I deal with, say, Ewa Michalak's underwires, I get UK 30 bands so I have enough band tightness to hold my tissue toward the front and for it to stay contained within those wires.

I think I can size down in the cup and get less coverage while maintaining a necessary amount of underwire width and height under the arms. I've ordered this in a UK 30F in a color called Blue Klein that looks very purplish blue on the Nordstrom website. The Bare Necessities site's photo of Blue Klein looks far less pure and vibrant. We'll see.

I'm glad to know of another plunge that has a gore just about low enough for me and whose wires are still wide and high enough for me. If the 30F from Nordstrom works, I'll probably be buying more Chantelle C Chic Sexy Plunges (3641).

    Fits

This bra fits well--the plunge style is good for close-set breasts. There is a tiny bit of wrinkling in the middle of the cups where the opaque fabric meets the lace (not sure if this problem is due to me having pretty even fullness--maybe this would work better for someone full on top or bottom). Unfortunately this is not a "sexy" bra on me--it creates absolutely no cleavage! It will work great as a t-shirt or everyday bra.

  6. I was only able to exchange the 70G(that was way too tight), so I went with a 75G. The 75F quadraboobed just as much as the 70G, but I can't quite fill the 75G at the top. It's not terribly noticeable so I figured I'd just deal with it instead of spending even more money on another bra to exchange.

I love the round shape it gives me, and the wire width and height is perfect. But that's about all I love about it.

The straps have a ruffle thing going on and it can be a bit scratchy if I move a certain way. The gore digs ... in just a bit but it's possible that bending the wires slightly would alleviate that. The cup also comes up too close to my armpit/tail of spence and tends to dig in painfully there whenever my arms out front. Like while I'm driving or typing on the computer(which is what I do for work). So I end up with a nice red, tender line on my tail of spence/armpit fat by the time I take my bra off.

The biggest problem I have with this bra is that I think there's a defect. I've uploaded two pics of this. The band is cut in such a way that I feel like it should have the more narrow 2 hook clasp attached. However, it has the wider 2 hook clasp attached instead which means theres a gap of about .5" that is isn't connected to the actual band(only the decorative lace). It's like dagger corners stabbing me in the back. I've sent an email to the store to see if they can confirm if this is a defect.

I like this bra a lot. I love how low the gore is. I like the detail on the straps. No complaints other than that the band is a bit too big and the cup a bit too small. :/ Wish they carried it in my actual size!

I'm looking for bras that have a wider wire as I seem to have wider roots than I originally thought. I went to Intimacy and picked this one up.

It gives a really nice rounded shape. And that's probably the end of the pros lists, unfortunately.

When trying it on in the store, the 70 felt good but once I got home and tried it some more, I noticed it's just way too tight for me. I think even if I managed to stretch it out some, it'd be painfully too tight to wear for more than a few minutes. The cup was also just a smidge too small. There was a tiny bit of quadraboob going on. Will be returning it tomorrow.

pros: this bra is extremely well-made and lovely both on and off. it offers a comfortable everyday level of support and it's sexy enough for a romantic evening. also for those of us with tiny ribcages, the band tends to run smaller. i love how pretty and classy i feel in this bra.

cons: this is probably mostly due to my wearing a size smaller than i should, but the cups give me an odd shape, especially under thin shirts. i have to push each breast up and to the side at least once a day (and usually more often) to avoid four-boob - which means it's not the best bra for cleavage.

This is an OK bra, I think it would fit better on someone who was heavier on the bottom. I think the cups run large.
