The fit of this bra is passable, but not perfect. The cups are too big, but because of the high cut, it's not noticeable. The band is fairly snug as I expect of Chantelle soft cups, but I think it would work better for me a band size down - it's fitting slightly loose on the smallest hook. A 70DD would probably be perfect! The bra itself is cute - I like the webbed lace pattern, and the pattern is interesting despite being a solid colour.

    1. Band is comfortable on my 32ish" torso.
    2. Cups are ever-so-slightly too small after swooping and scooping (noted by small amount of quad-boob).
    3. Gore is nice and low and narrow - this fits well in this area. This is important to me because my breasts are close-set, so higher gores of normal widths cause visible indentations in my cleavage and are super annoying to me. However, I think I need more immediate projection at the center.
    4. A little too wide under the arms, initially, but after fiddling with the wires a bit, the new width fits much better.
    5. After wearing the bra for a bit, the cups slide down in the front, causing the underwire to dig into my rib cage and then causing quad-boob. I believe this means that I need more immediate projection at the base of the cup.

First things first: this bra doesn't fit. The band is fine, but it's definitely a cup size too small, which is a given, as I am an F cup wearing an E cup.

Aside from that, it's actually a very comfortable wear. I can wear it for about 8 hours at a stretch, currently. the part that annoys me the most is the wires, and I suspect it would irritate me even if I was wearing my proper size. They're too short on the our edge, so they keep stabbing my breast tissue.

I ordered this bra as an exchange for the Chantelle Rive Gauche 3-part Cup. The gore on that bra was too high and separate for me, so I tried this plunge. I really want to like it, but I think that it's just not right for my shape. (Thank you, Bratabase, for teaching me more about what that means!)

If you like a firmer band, this bra has one. Bratabase overall has it listed as "stretchy," but that hasn't been my experience. To me, it feels quite firm and a bit small, so consider sizing up. The straps are tricky to adjust because they are ridge-y, but once they're ... adjusted... they're adjusted. They're also angled in the back so they stay on the shoulders nicely. I *love* the straps, so it's too bad that nothing else about this bra quite works.

The cups are thin, lined, and nicely made, although less soft than the Rive Gauche lace. They feel more synthetic, if that makes sense. The wires (as usual) feel just a bit too low and narrow for me, and the cups look orange-in-a-glass wrinkled at the bottom unless I adjust over and over again. No problems with center spillage or the top edges of the cups, although I rarely have those concerns. The short gore tacks and has a pretty little charm, and while I'd say it's a plain bra overall, the scalloped lace and charm are nice details.

(I'll probably list this bra, so if you adore it and and are looking for a very lightly worn one, contact me and I'll be happy to swap.)
