I bought this back when I thought I was a 34D; now it's clear to me that I'm more or a 30F, which is not a size that Peau-Ethique makes. But their bras are so comfy and organic cotton is so rare in a bra! I WANT to like this.

It's soft and luxurious 100% organic cotton, it's fair trade, it's a cute purple, and it's well-constructed for a wireless bra; if it fit, I imagine it would support me quite well. It's not like those flimsy cotton bras that are really just a breast covering. The seamed cups are clearly constructed with support in mind.

But it doesn't, even a little, fit me. The band is clearly 2+ sizes too big. My breasts sit low, insufficiently supported, and continue unchecked beneath what is supposed to be the gore. If the band was small enough, the cups would be too small, and they'd probably be set too wide for my close-set self anyway.

    • I know I am very late but I have found a peau-ethique demi bra that I love. It only comes in the normal size matrix. So they have my post-btb size, 32B. Did you feel that the bra would fit better if you had the band taken in to your band size? I really love but can't decide if it is worth buying in 32B/ C and shortening the band.

  2. Elegance Organic Cotton Underwire (ELE4202)

I love Peau-Ethique for making organic cotton bras. It's super rare! It's just a shame that none of them really fit me. The bras that fit me are usually 30F, so most mainstream bra companies (including Peau-Ethique), the smallest band is too big for me and their largest cup is too small.

Although surprisingly supportive for an unlined cotton bra--the underwire is helpful and the seam is well-placed--there isn't quite enough support here for me, probably because it's not sized remotely correctly.

The fabric is super soft and comfy, of course. I would love this so hard in my size.
