so i previously had purchased this bra in 32F, at the time i was buying 32FFs but for some reason a 32F was cheaper lol. i had it for about 2 years before it crapped out on me (too stretched & underwire poked out.) it was my favorite bra! so lo and behold, i've repurchased it this year in 30G, which is what i've been buying lately. i did read that this band runs a bit small but i decided let's try it anyway! the band is extremely comfortable on this bra so the only thing that has been bothering me is the side boning, but that's at random & rare instances. overall i'd give this bra a 9/10 again, it's second only to my new favorite the parfait pearl!
The band on this bra has a lot of stretch. At a 30G, I thought this fit until I wore it for a few hours. Then the bottom of the cups were collapsing/wrinkling and the cups were moving down in the front. Fit seems to really depend on my posture. Quad boob only happens if I work really hard to stand straight and keep my shoulders back.
Just like with the other parfait bras I reviewed: 30G - Parfait By Affinitas » Sandrine Plunge Longline (5351)30G - Parfait By Affinitas » Emma Plunge (5490)30G - Parfait By Affinitas » Tess Unlined Bra (5022) the band is very very small, especially if you just stretch it until the wires start to bend. The underwires do hurt after a while. The cups are bit too wide, closed at the top and open at the bottom for me, but so are 96% of the bras I’ve tried. The stretch lace is pretty but comfortable and not flashy. The gore ...is really high for the minimizer effect. I had to bend the wire out because it dug into me, leaving a red dot. At the top of the gore is a circular dog tag looking pendant that reads “Parfait”. You could remove it easily if you wanted to.
Even with those complaints, so far in my short time trying out bras I think this is the best fitting one I’ve tried. I’ll edit this after I have the extender and tighten the straps, which may fix the problems. Read more 87 more words
Way too small in the band. I fit into other 30 inch bands just fine but I couldn’t close this one. There was at least an inch gap between the two hooks, and that was stretching it all the way. So most of the other fitting issues are guesswork.
The cups are very narrow. Even with the plunge, I could tell that the gore and straps were too far apart for me, but I have very close set breasts so may not apply to everyone.
I guess I could buy an extender but I’m too lazy to.
I’m returning it because it is too small and has a couple of shape problems. I’m too FoT, even with the stretch lace the top of the bra cuts in to the breast tissue a little bit. It wrinkled at the bottom and I don’t fill out the sides. The band also rode up a little. I like the basicness of the bra and the material, but it’s pretty cheaply made for almost 60 dollars.
This bra is SMALL for its size. I generally wear a 30FF, and this 30G is both too small in band and cups. Also, if you care about nipple coverage, this is probably not for you. Because I am full on bottom, the lace on this kind of floats over my breasts, but it is light and airy, so that wouldn't make any difference, IF the bra fit. Maybe this would work for me in a 32G. Note that the straps are the two thin kind in the front.
Wow, this bra has such a stretchy comfy cup...if the wires fit me. Having close set breasts, I have mostly been trying on plunges. But some people say that a high gore can work, too. Not on this bra! It seemed to fit fine in the cup, and the measurements show that it should fit me, but I had to take it off quickly, b/c the pain on my ribs was severe. And the band is plenty big enough. So if you have a normal distance between your breasts, I recommend this on!
A nice bralette that feels soft and somewhat supportive. Yay!
I did size up 1 cup (from 30FF). If you are on the bigger side of 30 (or whatever number), or sometimes wear a 32, definitely get the next size up. I sometimes wear 28, and am on the small side of 30, and this band is pretty tight (I will wear an extender or just bear with it until it stretches).
I'll probably get this in another color, because it is so comfortable, and sometimes I just don't feel like wearing a wire.
I tried this bra in a store. It is beautiful and the gore is quite low, allowing some cleavage. On the other hand, the bra gives an east-west and conical breash shape. The cupr are small, this bra fits more like a Freya 30ff.
For me, this bra is seriously lacking some side support, making my boobs looks far more slayed than they really are and contributing to quad boob from the cups that become too shallow only because being so far spread for me. The underwires are maybe a quarter inch too wide, and the super hard wires make that even more uncortables on my sides and in the center for which is also ever so slightly too tall.
Epic fail for me. Very wide cups (6.75) I need nothing wider than 5.5. Fabric in cup super soft and I doubt this would give good lift even if the fit was okay
This bra is so damn cute. Great for a shift at work if you are standing all day, but not comfortable for office work or if you have a short torso! It does fit small, much closer to a 28G than a 30G, and it is not the most comfortable in my body due to the long side stays and my short waist. If you have a long torso though, you'll love it.
I love this bra. I originally ordered this when I was on my journey to finding a properly fitting size. It was a total guess. I know the 30f bras I was wearing were way too small so I ordered two cup sizes bigger (found out later that his bras runs about a cup size larger). When I first tried it on I was disappointed and thought it didn't fit because I had gapping at the top. I put it aside to get rid of. Then one day, I being really sad it didn't fit and hoping it would I tried it on again. I put it on. ...I still had gapping. Then I stood up straight with proper posture. It was a miracle! It fit almost perfectly. No more gapping. I had just been standing with bad posture before causing the gapping. The way I saw it was I need to stand with better posture as it is so it was worth keeping. The band is comfortable. The cups are just barely big enough. The gore is pretty flat to my sternum. When I push it flat however I get quadboob on my bigger side. I haven't decided if it would be worth going up a cup size or not. My only complaint is that one of the three hooks on the band is broken and it is a struggle to get it hooked. The other two hooks are fine. I dread the day a second hook breaks. I only hope I will be able to get it repaired. All in all this is one of my favorites and is a solid go to. Read more 167 more words
I loved the shape this bra gave me. But as time went on, the top of the cups cut in, which I hoped they would adjust and stretch, but they did not. I gained weight and most of my closed top bras are cutting in now, so it may not be the bra.
I am very happy!! The bra fits, and it is beautiful, the band is just perfect, it feels snug without being uncomfortable, it is wide with 3 hooks, the cups run a bit on the smaller side, that is why I ordered the 30 G, instead of the 30 FF, the cups have a sling inside that is smaller than the cup, for that reason I cut it out, and the fit is a whole lot better. The straps adjust all the way, and are wide. The lift is very nice, it gives a natural shape, not too round and not too pointy, just natural... Iam very happy!! Super cute bra!!
This bra looks awesome, I really wanted to love it but the cups are too small for me and it seems like they don't have 30GG or H. :/ It literally squishes my boobs like mashed potatoes and makes me look like someone who's trying to fit into something I can't fit. I guess this will be good for people with shallow breasts. Will be given this away as well.
The cups run a little small, but sadly there's no one cup size up for the 30 band and they don't make 28 bands. It is very lightly padded, which is exactly what I need (really don't like bras that is too padded nor just fabric.). Very comfortable and no push-ups. It provides full coverage, and the band is pretty thick so it gets your back fat smooth out pretty good. Overall it's a pretty good bra.
I'm not a huge fan of this bra. The straps do not shorten enough for my body, and I feel like I'm spilling out of it all the time. I am constantly readjusting just to get everything back in place. I have also found that it makes me look and feel bigger than I actually am up top.
I may have gotten some bad intel on this bra. I was stuck between this one and the Parfait By Affinitas Casey (2801) ; coincidentally they both went on sale for about half the original price, so I decided to try both. I read a ton of reviews on a bunch of sites that said the band ran tight and the cups were small, so I decided to get a 30G (I was resized at a 28G and recently I've been branching out into 30FFs and having some success there as well). The band fit fine, but the cups felt a little too large, and the ...straps were spaced much too far apart for me--even after adjusting them to the right length and getting everything settled, it just felt really uncomfortable, and the straps just felt...wrong. Like, 'my shoulders hate me right now and I don't know if I should be shrugging or slouching to make this feel better,' wrong. On top of that, the outer edge of the cups cut in under my arms (at first I thought it was the underwire but it's the cup itself), and the inner edge of the cups come up too high to be worn under my deep v-neck tees, which is what I bought the bra for in the first place. It didn't give me much of a cleavage boost, but it also didn't push me out to the sides or flatten me, which was nice. If not for the fact that the plunge isn't quite plunge enough, I'd try it in the 30FF.
Appearance-wise, this is good, plain bra. It's got a little charm on the gore, but that's about all the decoration you get. It's nice and simple, smooth against the skin and under shirts, and it looks to be of very good quality. Unfortunately it just won't work for my purposes. Read more 205 more words
i'm one of those who would have said cups and band run smaller. I base it off of cleos because the unlined cleos have been the most standard for me. pretty much anyone i pick i can use a 30F or 32E. In the Jeanie and Casey I need a 32F. Probably a 32E and a half would be a better fit yet but they dont make it unfortunately!
That's a really good point! I based the fit off of my molded Cleos because I seem to have no luck with unlined bras; a 28G is usually too wrinkly towards the top, a 28FF quads terribly and not everything fits in the cups, and a 30FF tends to feel unsupportive. Thinking about it now, I can definitely see how the cups might feel small if you typically wear unlined bras.
