This bra is reported to be the same as the Casey but without the lace detail on the front.

They do not fit me the same. Perhaps Parfait has made some changes in their sizing?

This bra gapes too much on the cups, whereas a 30F Casey fits me perfectly.

Still a good choice if the Deco does not work for you.

The 30F purple Parfait Donna Padded Bra fits well. The side view shows a slightly flattened above-the-nipple appearance, but that does not denote an ill fit. My ... Fantasie Rebeccas' side view is evenly uplifted. My Fauve half cups have a miraculously rounded and projected side view. It is probably not fair to compare the side view of a half cup to a balconette's, though, which is what I believe the Donna is. I'm pretty sure the Donna would hide any evidence of nipples no matter how cold it got. My Fantasie Rebecca bras do not always do this. My Fauve half cups always do, but mine have evenly textured fabric to accomplish this.

Until recently I avoided even lightly padded bras because they take up more space than unlined bras. My unbelievably gorgeous Fauve half cups won me over. I'm not sure it would be worth keeping the Donna if only because its rigidity means it would take up more space than the above mentioned bras.

I bought the Parfait Donna Padded Bra used, and it arrived covered in dog hair and god knows what else. It also has fraying elastic that looks like whitish-clear threads sticking up from the mesh wings. The previous owner had machine washed it. I will be donating this bra because I can't get the horrific image of its initial arrival out of my head.

OMG, sooo comfy! This bra gives great lift and a nice shape. The straps are fully adjustable and very comfortable (not scratchy unlike some Freya straps). The band is firm, but could be a wee bit tighter, but I do prefer a tighter band overall. The wires do not dig, nor do they poke. The lace overlay is not noticeable under clothing, but will obviously show under semi-sheer or very thin tops (think layering shirts). Unfortunately, this bra does show a bit under a heavy white cotton t-shirt (again, clingy), but not other colored clingy cotton tees.

My only con is that the cup cuts into my larger breast and during a days wear I would have shifting and quad-boobage. If you're on the smaller side of a 30F, go for it! If between sizes, order a cup up. Also, if you are a true 28, do not order this bra! It will likely stretch out too fast and no longer be supportive.

After an exchange, I tried the Charlotte in the 30F and noticed an obvious improvement with the gore, which now tacks down all the way and not just at the bottom. Very nice! On the other hand, I'm still having some problems with very slight quadboob on my larger breast. It wasn't enough to be noticeable under my tight shirts, though, so I'm pretty happy with the fit. It's a beautiful bra otherwise. I think Parfait by Affinitas has a lot of really good things for me, and I like their styles, so I think I'm going to keep ordering Parfait bras https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

  6. Anna Wire Bra (3602)

The Parfait by Affinitas Anna unpadded half cup is pretty and fits well. (Please note I've entered it into Bratabase as a new model, but it is in fact the one called Anna Wired Bra. The bra model that already exists in Bratabase as the Anna Wired Bra is described as the Half Padded version, which is incorrect. The Anna balcony bra is the padded one. I haven't tried that one. I entered mine as a new model to make clear it is NOT padded.) It is lined only with mesh that is the same fabric and color as the outer cup material. There is a side sling ... of the same thin mesh. The side sling continues 2.5" above the top edge of the cup, tapering to a triangular shape that then connects to the strap. The review on hourglassy.com has some good pictures.

The wires contain all my side tissue and come up high enough under the arms. I should note that my cup width and depth measurements are taken as though the underwire is long enough to fill the channel. As in many bras, however, there is almost half an inch of unfilled underwire channel. My wire length measurement reflects the actual wire length.

While my fit issues entry says this bra causes quadboobing, I feel pattyt's review accurately describes it as a style, rather than fitting, issue. The seam at the top of the cups, which is covered by applique, is tighter than the rest of the cup. The side view shows a slight flattening in that area.

The sewing was a little sloppy where the applique was attached at the front of the right cup. It doesn't ruin the bra for me. I haven't worn this as much as I expected because the appliques are thick and show through a lot of tops. While I don't mind evidence that I am wearing a bra or that I am a mammal (nipples), this bra is by far the most insistent on being seen under tops.

There is side boning, which I like, but it started curving out and away from my body after a few wears. Unlike the boning in the Donna Wired Bra, the Anna's boning doesn't seem strong enough to play its part with the bra's other elements. This curving out doesn't affect the look when I wear clothes.

Just not quite right for me. Didn't run as small in the band as other Parfaits, IMO, and the cups were sort of pointy on me. I'm a 28FF on average, so I'm not surprised this wasn't quite right on me.

It's a beautiful bra of moderate quality. I spill out of the firm, padded cups just a very little bit -- the bra is still wearable. Someone with firmer breasts may not have this problem (mine are quite "compliant" and like to take the shape of their container, and will spill out at the slightest provocation).

The dark teal color is amazing, and the silvery-gray embroidery is gorgeous.

It is also moderately comfortable -- I've worn worse and I've had better.

A middle of the road bra! C+

I thought this bra would be a sexy bra that you can wear every day, but after trying it on, I think it's a bedroom only bra. The cups are made of two layers, the lace overlay which is black and an underlayer which is grey. In terms of construction, it seams like each cup is made of one piece of fabric and one seam to form the shape, as opposed to having several pieces to create the shape.

    Pros:
    - I like the colour scheme and the lace
    - I like the keyhole detail
    - It's unpadded (I prefer unpadded bras)
    - It feels comfortable
    - The band feels nice and firm. Comparable to other bras I own and that fit me with the same band size.

    Cons:
    - The cups are made of a stretchy material so it's not very supportive
    - There's not really any lift
    - The centre gore is too wide for me

Overall, nice to look at but otherwise not too great.

This bra is not quite right for me. I guess it does not cover enough? One breast spills out (even though the edge of the cup does not really feel tight) while the other has a bit of gaping along the edge of the cup. I know its normal for breasts not to be exactly the same, the fact that I sometimes spill out of both sides at the center indicates to me that this is not my ideal stlye.
It could also be that the size is not quite right. It does often feel a bit too tight.
However, I do like the cleave I get with plunge styles like this. And the fabric is smooth and stretchy.

The nude color is practical, but rather boring.

I got this along with the same style in a 30FF for comparison. The 30FF was just a slightly better fit. This one was just a bit too small on the outside, but would have worked just fine. I seriously debated keeping both sizes, but I have too many others on my wish list right nowhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />.

I've also tried this is 32F and 30FF, so those reviews are available as well. The deep plunge of this is not the best fit for me. The bra is very pretty and soft, an excellent t-shirt bra I think. The 30F and 30FF fit similar, but the 30F has 2 hooks and the 30FF has 3, which gives the feel of a bit more support. The cup in the 30F. Gave me just the slightest bit of a quad boob appearance, and a feel like I may fall out.

Band fits great (a bit small for a 30) bottom of cups fits great, the lace on top expects me to have lots of breast tissue to fill it, but I don't. A bit snug for a 30- would also fit someone who wears 28 F/FF really well.

  15. Jeanie Plunge Molded Padded Bra (4801)

This bra is a much better fit than the 30FF I tried. It's a very basic nude t-shirt bra so there's not too much to say about its looks. The colour is a true nude, so it should go with everything. I generally have a problem with filling the tops of moulded bras but I don't have a problem with this one. The fabric on the cups feel very soft and comfortable on the skin. It gives a very rounded shape and when I tried on a t-shirt over it, I thought it made my boobs look a bit bigger, although I think ... that may be because of the roundness.

    Cons:
I think the cup fabric is prone to runs if you're not careful. This one came with 5 (small ones) out of the box, 2 are obvious and the others are not. I'm not sure if it's because of the material itself or if this happens with all moulded bras. Does anyone know?

I don't like the way the straps look attached to the cups. In other bras I have, the cup is folded over so there isn't a raw edge, but this one is just cut across so it's less elegant. I think at least a bow to cover it up would be nice if the foam is too thick to fold over.

Other than my two complaints, I think it's a pretty good, functional bra at a good price point so I would recommend it. I'm giving the "quality" rating an "ok" because of the cup fabric, but the bra itself feels sturdy.

Band size seems to be a little tight for a 30, but I like it that way. It's a very deep plunge, and while this creates very nice cleavage, I fall forward a little in the cups after bending over. Still, the bra gives a great shape--very high and rounded.

My current favorite bra. This bra is cute, but basic. The seams are thin so it is possible to wear this under some shirts. The band does not stretch after a days wear. Very comfortable.
