Sadly this bra doesn't fit me. I think I bought this in part because the other parfait bra I had in a 30D was way too small, and this was the only size left. I really wish it fit thought, because it is beautiful. A 30DD in this bra may fit me correctly. The wires are too long, and the gore is too high. There's also some room where the moulded part of the cup meets the lace. If I pull the lace up higher on my breast, it fits. The top of this bra does seem somewhat closed off as there is a strip of plastic going across, so this may cause quad boob, if you're heavy on top (but the strip is stretchy)
Iam heartbroken... soooo sad https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> it did not fit!! the cup is too small, gives me cuadboob, this bra has a sling inside the cup wich i cuted out to see if it helped on the cup fitting, it did a little bit, but not enough.. i ordered maybe a cup or two sizes smaller than i should have. The lift is amazing, is soo sad it did not fit in the cups, the band is just fine, the straps are very soft and adjustable all the way. I am thinking of wearing it around the house, hoping that with a few wears the cups stretch a little bit!! Beautiful and cute bra!! I will update on how it goes...
I guess I was hoping for a Deco alternative (Deco isn't a great fit for me). It is more of a Deco clone and fit issues I have with Deco are the same here. Cups gape in the center a bit, cups are too high on outer sides. It fits fine in a way and looks OK under clothes, but it isn't my perfect T-shirt bra that seems to only exist in my head. Meh.
I've this and the 30DD, and can't really figure out which is the better fit. In the 30DD (http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dlvh7/), there's a lot of 'oomph', and I wonder if it is that I like about the smaller one.
So far as the E cup, the band is a fine fit and it's comfortable, but there's gaping at the top of the cups, as I tried to show in one of the photos. That's probably to be expected with a molded-cup bra for someone who is much fuller on the bottom, but it's bothersome to me, is bound to show through certain shirts, and is probably the other reason ...I prefer the 30DD.
Fit aside, it's a beautiful bra, per usual. I know some won't like the little dangly heart beneath the bow (or the bow!) but thus far I seem to have been restricted to boring bras, so any embellishment is good in my book!
TBH, I will probably send every single bra I bought back and try to start over again. :'( It's too bad, because I love the quality of Parfait bras! Read more 75 more words
I almost found the perfect molded plunge for shallow, wide rooted boobs. This is a nice basic bra, made of comfortable material. It's molded, so there are no worries of showing through, but it doesn't have too much padding.
The cups fit pretty well: I can fill them out without getting the usual quadboob on top. Most importantly, the shape of the cups fit my boobs, so it doesn't look unnatural under clothing. It's nice to finally have a plunge that works for my shape. Usually with plunges, I can't fill out the middle, but I'll have quadboob.
Unfortunately, the only con I could find is pretty big. The straps are way too far apart. They sit in my armpits, causing the cups to gap if I bring my shoulders too far forward.
Super padded bra. I don't mind too much and it is comfortable, but the amount of padding is borderline absurd. I feel like I can wear this bra comfortable in 3 different sizes (I feel the same way about Juna).
I really like this bra; I like the snugness from the band and the wire width, as well as the look. It just seems like there's too much coverage and since it has molded cups, either I scoop and the bottom wrinkles or I adjust and the top is semi empty. If it was a molded demi, it'd be great.
Ouch. This bra is painful. Cup too big for me, but the band seems to be the correct size. Serious digging into my sternum and rough fabric. Sorry I cut the tags off of this one!
I love the fit of this bra! The band is VERY firm, but I think it's true to size. The only real issue I have with it is that the straps are too far apart. If I wanted to get super picky, the upper line of he cut cuts into my high root just a tiny bit.
I can see why so many people are fans of the Charlotte Padded bra made by Parfait by Affinititas. Tbe retro design gives me a very forward projection. It's definitely a turn on for my boyfriend. Despite the forward thrust the bra provides, my boobs feel a little unsupported at the bottom of the cups. I think most of the support comes from the side of the cup where a wide piece of fabric connects the cup to the band. That fabric pushes my breasts closer together and prevents east west migration which is usually a problem for me. As a result I have fantastic cleavage and my ...breasts look full and front and center. The only problem is that my breasts are closer together than normal and the the center gore doesn't lie flat agaist my sternum as with most other bras. It's not uncomfortable this way at all, but I think some support and upward lift of the breasts is sacrificed. If the gore can't sit flat against my sternum as the rest of the band does around my back, the band as a whole loses it's stability. As a result, my breasts tend to fall down into the cups as the day goes on and feel less supported.
This is truly a minor problem for me though. The overall shape and look this bra gives is really pretty. The support is also phenomenal on the sides of my chest where my breasts tend to migrate. What I like most about this bra is its retro design. It's very pin up girl style. I've always liked that aesthetic and will definitely be keeping my eye out for other similar Affinitas designs. I would be very much interested, which colour did you get? And do you think the cups / band run small/normal/big, for example compared to Panache, Freya, etc?
It definitely runs small in the band and cup, especially if you are FOT.
It's a rather odd fit, especially in comparison to it's unpadded version. I have rather FoB boobs, but this bra has so little room at the bottom of the cup, it doesn't so much push my fullness up, but pushes my entire breast up, leaving what little room is at the bottom of the cup empty and wrinkly, lying agains my ribs. Also, the straps are crazy-wide for a 30 band. Other than that, it's pretty comfortable; no itchy cheap fabrics, and supremely cute! I wish it fit!
It's overall a great shape, and for a soft cup, gives me some awesome cleavage, but I ordered at least one cup size too small. Maybe two.. I don't know if it runs small, or if I miss-orderd, because I was going off my favorite bra, but that's the only one I own that fits, so maybe it just runs small. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Why is this called a bralette? It's a pretty heavily structured longline. Really gorgeous. Satiny and lush, pintucks and lace. Gives me a bit more separation than I prefer, but not unbearable. Haven't had a chance to wear it out yet.
This bra feels quite stiff still (NWT) but hopefully it would soften quickly. The straps are wide-set enough to rub my armpits. The cups aren't projected enough, so my boobs push them down into my ribs. The band is comfy and I really like the added boning in the wings.
I've been lemming for this bra for a very long time but I haven't been able to obtain it because it is a discontinued style, but I finally came across it on zulily. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I'm in love with frilly details and I especially love the colour pink, which surprisingly was missing from my lingerie wardrobe. For 30 bucks, it wasn't a bad deal. However, this bra was a terrible match for my boobs. First of all, the bottom of the cups are too shallow for me so I get really hideous folding. The gore is also too deep for me because I'm fuller on the sides and bottom. The band definitely definitely ran tight, but not tight enough for my 26 inch underbust. The lace was pretty itchy too because they put glue on the edges. It has somewhat softened because I used Eucalan to wash it, but it's still not a desirable texture. It's just the tips that are hard though, not the rest of the lace.
This bra is lovely; comfy and give me a pretty nice shape. Unfortunately, with my shape (FOB) I need to go down a cup size, as I experience some gaping at the top. Also, the band is a true 30, and was almost too loose for my taste. (I measure at 28 in the bra calculator but sized up for comfort). I wish it fit me, because it is so comfortable!
Beautiful bra that fits wonderfully, but the wires are EXTREMELY thick and stiff. It takes some time to break it in (I've bent it with my hands several times, it's TOUGH), but after that I love it and it's a great bra for sweaters.
I'm not usually a fan of purple, but this shade of purple is nice. The bra feels comfortable to wear, the 30 band fits great. Unfortunately, the cups are too small for me and the straps are only half adjustable so it just didn't work for me.
I've had this bra for a year and a half and I keep coming back to try it and keep not wearing it. I've worn it a few times under really thick t-shirts and, although it is a little too tight and the cups wrinkle just a touch at the very top, those aren't the main reasons I don't wear it. The main reason I don't wear this bra is because of the construction: top part fine lace, bottom part fine mesh, with a seam that is presumably supposed to fall where my nipples are. I would 100% wear this bra if it weren't for the fact that said seam falls close but not quite on my right side and ridiculously too high on my left side. It's a really pretty bra and feels fine, but I'm just not interested in having to wear extra nipple covers under this bra. It's very irritating.
