    Didn't fit

I have a few other Parfait by Affinitas bras in the 30F-FF range and they fit me pretty well. This bra is so pretty but it doesn't fit. At all. For starters, the band is significantly shorter than the Casey and Jeanie bras. The cup is also a different shape and gave me a very east-west sideways look. The underwires don't stay in the correct place and I get awful quadboob. The gore doesn't tack and it mushes into my breast tissue, along with the underwires. I tried it with a band extender and the cups still don't work. Unfortunately I ordered it online and removed the tags before I tried it on, foolishly assuming it would fit because other 30FF bras from that brand seemed to fit me. Whomp whomp.

    Didn't fit

I decided to pick up this bra randomly from one of my regular eBay closeout sellers. After researching, I determined that this bra's cups are extra deep and run at least a cup large, and the silicone -lined band and detachable straps made it suitable for wear as a strapless option. I hoped this would work out as a good unpadded strapless bra, but unfortunately it was a fail.

In general, Parfait bras are pretty tough for me. The cups of every style I've tried except Charlotte run at least a size large, being very tall, wide, and deep simultaneously. The wires also have a ... very sharp U shaped curve instead of the gentle C curve that suits me better. This style unfortunately exemplifies all of these traits. Compared to my Masquerade Alice, another 30D that runs a size large in the cups, the depth is the same, but the cups are wider and taller. As a result, I would conclude that this bra really runs close to two cups large (the measurements are similar to my B. Tempt'd by Wacoal Ciao Bella in 30DDD). Thus, this would really fit a 30E best as I normally wear 30DD. I also found that the cup shape is extremely rounded, but because the wires are so wide, the fullest point of the bra sits further out on me than they should, so it gives a bit of a splayed east-west look. However, I do not believe this would be a problem if you are wearing the correct cup size as the wire width would be appropriate. However, on me, this is so wide that it's absolutely unwearable even if I did fill out the cup.

The band is firm powermesh with side boning and has silicone at both the top and bottom of the band, so I think this would make it a great strapless/convertible option, however it was hard for me to correctly evaluate the fit since the cups are so large on me. My guess is that the band is pretty TTS, though whether or not it will stay up strapless would depend on your specific measurements.

Styling-wise, the bra is much prettier than expected. I don't love the contrast color being used at the wire channels, but it looks fine on the straps and the embroidery. From the pictures, I thought that the cups were decorated with subtle beading and I was worried it would look lumpy under clothing, but thankfully this turned out to be embroidery only. The "beaded" portion are little embroidered circles that are slightly raised, but not terribly bumpy. The straps have a pretty texture and are fully adjustable. The gore has a very small bow with rhinestone charm that is subtle and tasteful. I was impressed with the quality of this bra and it reminds me of something from the Masquerade line. This is much nicer than any other Parfait bra I've tried so far.

Give this a try if you are able to order your normal band size and size down 2 in the cups, and if you usually have good luck with deep, rounded molded cup bras. I love the idea of a bra like this with convertible straps and the strapless option, and wish it had worked out!

    Hasn't set fit

I was glad I read the reviews on Bratabase & got a 36 instead of my measured 34 because the band is snug on the loosest setting. It fits wonderfully. There are only 2 minor problems I have with it. 1, the embroidery on the outside of it shows through thin blouses but will most likely be fixed with an undershirt. 2, though it has convertible straps they are too short for me to do anything than the classic bra strap.

    After wearing all day:
The silicone strips on the wings dig in but it doesn't have the strip in the cup area where I think it could have used ... it. When I went to the store I noticed that just the cup area was shifting as I walked so I had to tighten the band even though I feel its tight enough. I guess thats what happens when you think your a 36 and wear a 38 to get a bra that fit and then come to find out I should be wearing a 34. It feels more comfortable now that I've put it on the middle hooks but I have a feeling that when I take it off I'm going to have red marks where the silicone strips are. I might have to buy extra straps so I can make this into a racer back or haulter when needed.

  4. This is a pretty bra, with nice details, a little sparkly and pink bow at the top of the gore and is a very lovely shade of pink, with raspberry detailing and straps. Typical of a convertible, the band is quite tight but nice and wide with 3 hooks. I feel extremely well supported in this bra, albeit with a little too much coverage on the upper slope of my breasts. I prefer a balconette to be closer to a demi- or half-cup. These days it seems if it has widely spaced straps, it's called a balconet. Oh well. I'm very pleased with this purchase and I would definitely recommend it to others with similar boobage.

Cups too small. Maybe if I wish for it hard enough, I can make it work... No, probably not.

This bra is meant for breasts that are full on top, as the too small cups both gape at the top. Meanwhile, the straps are spectacularly far apart, much further apart than most -- and straps in general are too far apart for me. The underwire is far too narrow and cuts painfully into my breast tissue on both sides when I normally only have to worry about the larger left side. All of the weight of my breasts pushes uncomfortably against the bottoms of the cups. That puts all the pressure on the straps, which...don't really touch my shoulders at all unless they're angled in by 2-3 ... inches on both sides. This bra gives me virtually no support. I wanted to make it work, but I was in a great deal of pain after wearing for just half an hour. The bra also gives me extreme east-west projection, and I prefer bras that put my breasts front and center. Despite the ample padding (which made me think this could possibly work as a t-shirt bra when I saw it online), the lace on this bra is very pronounced, and it shows through one layer of clothing -- it could probably be hidden with a tank under another layer. I need a 34 band most of the time, but this 36 is far too tight for my comfort. I might size up 2 band sizes in this one. The straps are actually long enough for someone with a long torso, if your shoulders are broad enough to catch them. Although I have tried several, I've never found a bra in this brand that works for me.

Band was so tight that I couldn't close it. The straps are removable, which I didn't realize, and that would be a great feature for me, if this bra had fit. My husband thought the bra was very overdecorated and mentioned he thought it would be more appropriate for a teenager.
