  1. I marked this bra as fitting despite it not being perfect. The most obvious issue is the very tight and non-stretchy top lace section - there's actually some cutting in going on here, which rarely happens for me unless I'm wearing obviously too small a size. Trying on this bra made me question the shape characteristics I thought I had down (short and even-but-functionally-FoB), but reading the reviews tells me this is a well-known fit issue with this bra, at least in this size range. It creates a shape that's not super flattering, which is fine - I just wear it under loose tops.

The other thing that prevents ... this bra from being perfect is the vertical seam right below the strap. The issue is a little hard to describe, but I think that seam is too tight. When I raise my arm at all, it cuts in, creating a strange shape - an in-cup side quadboob? Not sure what to call it. It happens regardless of how loose I make the straps. Anyway, it doesn't hurt and isn't that much of a problem; it's just a bit strange.

I guess more room in the cup could probably fix both of these things. Am I just in denial that this 30FF is actually too small? I don't know. It is a bit too wide already, though.

The best thing about this bra is how soft it is. I wish all bras were made of whatever fabric this is. (Seriously, Panache, what's with all the scratchy fabrics? What was wrong with this kind?) Even though it's pretty much in my armpits, it doesn't chafe too badly. It's very comfortable despite the fit issues.

Edit: I'm now pretty sure it runs smaller in the cups than other Panache bras. Like significantly. While my other Panache 30FFs are fitting me now with no discomfort, Emily squeezes uncomfortably on my larger size, even with the straps and band loosened all the way. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

Way too bottom friendly for me. It caused a ton of quad boob

There are definitely pros and cons to this bra. I like how soft it is and it's very comfortable. I heard it ran small in the cups so I ordered a size up and it was perfect. As my size has increased, the stretch lace continues to work. A couple of the cons are the wide wires, the gore seems a bit tall, and it gives a bit of a pointy shape. Actually, the shape is just plain weird on me. Yet, even with those cons I still find it comfortable and wear it often. For reference, Curvy Kate Princess fits my shape best and Freya half cups gap badly on top. The Panache Emily gapped a little on my smaller side when I first got it but the lace is very soft so it wasn't an issue under clothes.

Brand new with tags and original packaging. I've just outgrown it.

This bra is so comfortable. I've gained a cup size and just so happened to have this 32FF lying around that previously was slightly too big. The only issue I have is the lace fabric cutting into my breast tissue, causing a bit of quadding. Otherwise, it is incredibly pretty and elegant.

Update: Have gained more boobage, so this bra definitely does not fit anymore. I still love the style of it.

  6. The band is snug without being too firm. The stitching right below the very top of the lace/cup that cuts in creating a slight quad boob effect. I think a stretchier lace might work better for me as I'm more FoT. I prefer the firm wires that Panache has and the gore height and separation work well for me.

Unfortunately my boobs are too top heavy for this bra and they spill slightly over the top.

Well, it's spilly at the top. This one leaves my armpits alone, and the embroidery is lovely. It's a really nice bra, I might wear it with some double-sided tape now and then to keep myself from escaping. The bottom of the front is digging into my ribcage, not too sure what causes that.

It's one of those bras that sits on my shelf in my closet waiting for a new home and until then I occasionally wear it with an extender so it intentionally floats at the front to gain more space at the tops of the cups when I haven't been able to wash my bras that actually fit.

I mean, it fits? But it's no surprise it was discontinued. This bra gives a whole new meaning to "grandma bra". The second I put it on, my breasts are shoved to either armpit and pointed into bullet shapes. The cut is way too high for anything other than a turtleneck and the design is so matronly, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending it to anyone under the age of 60. Try it if you must, but be prepared to age yourself about 30 years with it on.

The band is very tight. If it was returnable, I would trade it for a 34 band. As it is, I use an extender. The cups almost work for my even to FOB breasts, but my tissue is too soft to stretch the lace at the top of the cups, giving a slight quad-boob effect. It's not terribly uncomfortable but it is noticeable under thinner shirts.

The underwire is just slightly too wide and ends right on a bony rib. It can poke at times.

All in all, while this bra doesn't fit well, it's close enough that it is in my regular bra rotation.
