    Didn't fit

I'll begin by saying that this bathing suit top is not my correct size (I usually wear a 32J making it effectively one band size too small and one cup size too big). I bought it simply because I own no bathing suit tops that are even remotely the right size and I found it very cheaply and they didn't have my correct size. I figured that the band would stretch out over time and I could try my hand at altering the cups. Oddly enough, neither of these seemed to be issues. The band was a bit snugger than I'd like, but it fastened and was not ... unwearably tight. And while the cups are definitely too big, the wires are so wide that almost all of the extra space is on the side and fortunately this bathing suit has little panels that cover this up.

Now onto the details of the bathing suit...

As I mentioned the cups were a bit big (but given the fact that they were a cup size too large for me based on the marked size, I expected this). The wires are also very wide and pretty tall as well. They're tall enough that I think if the wires had been a bit narrower, the would have poked me. However, since the wires fell all the way behind my arms, this was not an issue.

The straps are fully adjustable. There is a little decorative layer over the adjustable part that is just a continuation of the side panel which makes them functional without giving as much of a bra look.

The band is too small as mentioned before, but I'm not entirely sure if I would size up if I were to buy it again (though I don't plan on buying another one of this top). I think that if you're towards the smaller end of your band size, sister sizing down may work for you. However, this probably depends on how squishy your back is (sorry, I couldn't think of a better or more technical way to say that). Given that it's a bathing suit, its possible that you may want to not sister size down to avoid having so much digging in since it will be more noticeable than a bra. Another little note though, I really hate the type of clasp that this suit has because it twist.

The gore is by far the biggest issue I have with this bathing suit. I think that the wires may be too short for the channels that they're in because they seem to almost slide down and leave a little pocket of fabric at the top of the channel. This seems to happen only on one side at a time. The wires also seem to move to overlap once this happens. I'll have to play around with it I think to see if there's anything that I can do to mitigate this issue.

Overall, all I can say about this suit is that on me all of the fit issues came together to make it surprisingly wearable.
