I took a risk on a Panache sport that was cheap in an adorable black, neon orange and leopard colorway, and was only available in a 32GG. The quality is nice, and the shape this bra gives is very nice. So many larger cup sports bras give strange shapes, but Panache really does a good job here.

I normally wear a 28-30 band (preferring somewhere in between these measurements), and am around a HH or J cup (UK). Panache Sport bras are known for being tight in the band and large in the cup. I therefore assumed that this bra would fit closer to ... a 30H. I figured this would be reasonably close to what I need, especially factoring in that this is a sports bra, and some compression is OK with me. All in all I like how the bra looks on me. It is very fun, and fits reasonably well. I have to wear it on the tightest set of hooks, and although it is not riding up, for the sake of exercise support, I would prefer it even a bit tighter, which lets me know that a 30 band in this bra would work fine for me. The bra cups go up to HH in the 30 band, and I think that would be a worthwhile size for me to try.

I feel that my breasts fit reasonably well in the cups. I am close set, and the gore doesn't tack, but I believe the gore rarely tacks in Panache Sport. More concerning to me is that I dont feel that the outer sides of my breasts, under the armpit, don't feel very contained, it seems like they could slide a tiny bit out. The wires dont extend to the end of the channels on the side, and maybe I would feel a bit more comfortable if they did go up a tiny bit higher. It is weird, I am not used to this sensation, and I am not sure it is really a problem. I guess I will find out as I truly try out wearing and exercising in it.

I'm glad this one more or less works for you. crossing my fingers that it holds up well.

    • It looks good. I hope it fares well and withstands a workout. :-)

    • 3

I feel like there is only so much I can ask for. Lots of people say this bra hugely reduces or eliminates bounce, but I still have plenty of bounce, I think sports bras can only do so much as breasts get heavier...

    • I hear you there, haha.

    • Good bra sciencing veggiechic ! At least it sort of works out for you and you can loosen the band if you find that you have any swelling with exercise or in general. Maybe for days when you feel bloated?

    • 1

AFAIK they don't have a 30HH. I went looking for one on Amazon and the top size I could find was a 30H. That size on me did not fit 2 cup sizes too big. It was the cosmic colorway though, so maybe that one fit differently.

    • Sovavosi , good to know, I have seen 30H as well, but when I looked at the size range listed in bratabase it showed through 30HH. There is only one listed with no review, so it might be a mistake. Mysterious. I actually looked at what size you had to help me make an educated guess on whether this 32GG might fit me before I ordered it.

    • Their sizes are weird, I’m glad this one fits you.

    • 1

When I read your reviews and see the HH I was very happy but it’s no this size in their range I am 29 band and I go for 32H I write my review down I think we must contact panache to change the sizes I know it’s firm backs but it’s stretched out

    • 1

I wrote Panache about making a 28 band in larger cup sizes and they said there's no market for it. They don't care.

    • 2

This is not good they must listen to their customer we must contact inch other and complain that to start their backs smaller and bigger cups I will contact them but they don’t answer me we must do something

    • Hello probably I made wrong I must go down another’s size I write my review in 32GG what do you think?

    • Hi there panache hear us and made this bra in 28 and 30 up to J .i try it and I see how it fit

    • It tops out at a H cup for 28 bands I believe.

    • Hi I buy 30 J from bravissimo iam waiting to arrive

    • I have it and I write review Iam very exciting

Finally a sports bra that fits! It holds my boobs in great. It's a little wide, but I expected that from panache. I'm a 30GG/H but I prefer a little looser of a band, so I went with a 32GG. I probably could have done a 32G, but I mostly fill out the bra just fine. I love how tall the cups are without being uncomfortable. 4. Sports Bra (5021)

I wore this when I had a 32-33" underbust, and wore a 32Hish in bras and it was great.
I have narrow and short roots, am FOT, close-set and the Panache Sport is a wonderful fit (it was great beforehand when I had a 34GG, and now it's great in 30G).
It gives a really nice rounded shape rather than the often pointy shape that sports bras can give, as the cups are lightly padded. The underwires are coated in silicone so they don't dig in even when the band is firm. The straps are padded in the right way so they don't look frumpy but they don't dig in your shoulders.

It's very comfortable and holds everything in place perfectly, it feels very secure. It also looks pretty enough that I would wear it as a sports top out in public if it was warm enough. The purple colourway is my favourite and I think the nicest looking, but since it is discontinued, I now have the black in the 30G.

My first sports bra! And in my proper size! Very soft and comfortable pink tank top version of the Panache Sport.

The molded cups are a bit wide, shallow, and tall for me; my short, narrow roots and super projected shape (nearly omega?) make it look like gap city. And the gore doesn't tack at the top. However, I didn't find that this negatively changed how the bra worked, so I kept it.

The straps are nicely padded and there is a J hook for a racerback converter you can easily do up yourself if you have full arm mobility. Be aware that the band does come ... super tight..I needed my boyfriend's help to get it on the first few times, and ended up using an extender because I didn't want to rip out the hooks and eyes while moving around. However, I don't think I'd want to go up to a 34 as I think it would be too loose, especially over time as I exercised more.

The tank part of it could be longer (I have a longer torso), and it does tend to ride up a bit. Also, the fabric is super clingy, so that plus the rolling up doesn't make it the best for people who are wanting to disguise their fat rolls.

It is a bit tricky to get on. I just pull it on like a shirt before leaning over to pull my boobs into the cups. Then I roll up the back part of the tank (like a shirt), then reach under to fasten the straps. It does take some practice.

Never thought I'd get to a point where the bouncing of my hair up in a bun would be more annoying than the bounce of my boobs!

I really wanted to like this bra.

I think it fit okay. It still felt very firm, despite being a larger size than the 30GG - Panache Sport » Sports Bra (5021) I own, but the boob separation on this was nonexistent for me.

I might need a larger cup size -- that's certainly possible, checking on the depth. But either way, the gore floated uselessly, not firm enough to get between my boobs, and I wound up with a sports bra that had no separation. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Miserably uncomfortable, and I'm sure I would have wound up with some chafing if I had tried to actually exercise in this.

I'm curious, does it have a special feature allowing it to tack somehow? Because typically only underwired bras have gores that can tack. I've never tried on or seen a nonwired bra that had a gore that had the ability to tack, but if Panache had designed this to try to make it tack (even if it is not that successful) I'd be very curious to know how they did it.

    • I mean, it does have a gore -- it feels like it's made out of the same memory foam kinda material as the separate cups themselves. Another review on here said it kept her comfortably separated. It would probably work better on someone with wider-set breasts. I've got about a fingertip to spare between mine.

    • 1

I'm not sure if you're referring to my review, or not, but I never said it separated. When I wear it, it keeps the side tissue at the forefront. Because of my shape, having that side tissue not stuffed into my armpits is more important to me than having a lot of separation. So the gore doesn't tack on me. It wouldn't in the original Wired Sport either, because it's just not made for that. I've actually never seen a reviewer of the original Sport have success with that.

If separation is a must, the Freya brand sports bra would be better. I've heard it has firmer and higher wires. It has more structure than the Sport.

    • 1

Yeah I took the opportunity earlier this week to check out some of the unwired options at Nordstrom Rack where they typically have a lot of full bust sports bras, and although they do have that gore-ish piece, without a wire that piece is not going to stay rigid enough to sit flat on the torso. Really I did not see any nonwired sports bras that looked designed to ensure full separation. I LOOOOOVE nonwired choices for many purposes and always try to suggest it as an option to try, because I think us full bust folks do miss out on some good solutions by automatically ruling them out, but if separation is 100% essential for someone then I really would not steer them to an unwired bra. It's just not going to do that unless you are really at the far (small) end of the boob volume spectrum.

    • littlechichend Huh! Well, the other Sport separated me. :|a

My big issue with sports bras is weird straps.

      http://www.ebay.com/itm/Freya-Active-AA4891-Black-Moulded-Racer-Back-Sports-Bra-Sizes-28-to-40-DD-H-Cups-/350916194398

      like this.

I also have a Natori "convertible" sports bra, but the way its straps work also annoys me. They don't adjust down like a normal bra, but "clip" down, and the excess strap either goes under the bra (which I couldn't get to stop rumpling uncomfortably) or on top (which is unstable -- the hooks unhooked on me).

      :\

wendybien thanks for the additional info!

This is my holy grail of sports bras.

On a practical and functional level, it works. Oh boy does it work. No bouncing (well, as little as possible. Physics still exist, no matter what bra you wear), no suffocating. No smooshing my poor breasts into my chest and armpits and pretending like that was how it had to be. Just firm but comfortable support.

The best part, though, has to be how GOOD this bra looks while being practical. The bra itself is lackluster. I have the plain black one. It looks like a plain black sports bra with some fancy meshing on it. Not ugly, just nothing exciting. Which is fine, and exactly how I want it. But the good part comes with the shape and silhouette this bra gives you. Perfect, round, perky, and smooth. No weird pointiness. Just natural-yet-sexy. Not something you'd ever expect with a sports bra.

It’s the Panache Sports bra. I know these are highly recommended and liked - I am also a fan. This is the wired version, which I find fits more TTS than the wireless version (for those I sister size up in the band).

Honestly, if you’re wondering whether to go wired vs wireless - for me, personally, there is not point to the wires. The gore cannot tack the way the cups are built. If someone can get it to tack, let me know! If I sized up to get the gore to tack, I’d be floating in this bra.

The J hook is great and I almost always use these bras with it attached. It helps with the compression and adds more support. Bra is comfortable for all sorts of activity, including running. There isn’t much else to say…it’s just a really great sports bra!

I like this sports bra. This particular color/size seems pretty perfect for me. I prefer my sports bras to be snug, but not so snug that I quad out of it. This is exactly like that. I probably have the least bounce with this bra as well. I did it as a Prime Wardrobe order, but I will definitely be buying it once I can!

Same great quality of the other Panache Sport bras. Seems more TTS than the unwired version.

Too small on my large side; squished my boob down all funky. Band tight (probably because the cups are too small). Bottom doesn’t seem to fill correctly. I’ve noticed the unwired Panache Sport fits smaller than the wired version. The unwired fits better in its sister size, 34G.

    • Hello if someone can help let’s do it because I can’t ask for fitting help I can’t find it my browser hasn’t it

    • If you click on the “Fitting Help” tab on the top of your browser it gives you the option to ask for help on the bras that you have uploaded pictures wearing them. Are you using a phone or a computer? On a phone, the “Fitting Help” tab is just under the “Bratabase” logo. Here is the link: https://www.bratabase.com/troubleshoot/

Also I think you need to add your measurements and the bra measurements for Fitting Help to work! Maybe that’s why it’s not showing up for you.

    • Is from my phone I really can’t see it anyway I add a new size and color in 30 H amethyst

    • I believe it will only show up if you add your measurements. You also need to add the bra’s measurements.

This is the most comfortable sports bra I've ever had. Separate cups keep my boobs apart well enough to prevent sweaty cleavage. I've only worn the straps the regular way, but I think the racer back option is nice too.

The 32 band is admittedly "too tight", but this is a choice that I've made. I think that a sports bra should be tight, to prevent any chance of the cups/underwire moving around and causing abrasion. I can definitely breath in it, plus it feels comfortable even after hours of wear (e.g. day trips on the bike).

If I could change something about this bra, it would be the ... appearance - It looks a bit bulky and wide. Long hair can sometimes get caught in the racer back hook.

Edit: I've used the bra and it's "sister" in another colour for over a year now. I think they are a size too small in the cup and I might do better in a 32H - I've considered 34GG too but the band might be too loose. I haven't used the racerback option, because the straps stay on my shoulders just fine. Also, because of my long torso, the racerback clip is too high for me and puts pressure on my neck.

The support level of the bra is very good. Actually so good that now, that my breasts aren't taking my attention, I have become aware that my bum and tummy are jiggling https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> What I don't like about the bra is that while it look like it gives almost total coverage to the chest, it really doesn't. When I bend over, my cleavage shows. And when I'm upside down, my boobs hit my chin. So there is still some room for improvement.

    My best fit.
I tried a 32g and 32H which where too small and too big, so the 32GG fit ! It was pretty tight, but comfortable.
I've lost some weight and its a bit big in the band. I haven't worn it excessively but I close it on the middle hook (for comfort). If for sports, I'd close it on the tightest. I have to tighten the straps all the way, and its okay, but for sports, they should be tighter. When I sit down, the straps rise from my shoulders.
The cups was almost cutting in at first, but now they don't. When I sit ... down, they gap a lot though. I'd like to try a cup down soon, and a tighter band, but I'll wait until its really nessecary.
I use it as an everyday bra (when I can't stand the discomfort of my other bras). It gives a perfect round shape, but I think it's add a bit of bulk and its too wide. By that, I mean than it makes my chest a bit wider, so I'd prefer a more centered shape for everyday wear. I'm conscious about it, so I'd never wear it to a party or with lots of people. But around the house, or walking or grocery shopping I don't mind. It's very comfy and I use it the most of my bras.
But for sports, I'd need a tighter size. The band does ride up, but its not really an issue like it is with other bras. It doesn't slide down in the front like most bras do on me. So for now, it's great. I'd say it runs a bit big in the cup, but the band seems true to size and very firm. I'm full on top so I worry that a smaller size would cut in, despite it being too big now.
Another issue is that I don't really know how to wash it haha.
But all in all, it's AMAZING. Best sports bra ever! I'm never buying a different type of sports bra.
