Paige and Paris are the same cut, and I found them equally disappointing. I was excited for them because they have the narrowest wires of any bra I've ever seen in my size, at 5 inches they're a quarter inch narrower than even my Polish bras. However the wires are also quite tall, making a deep U shape. The cup itself is also very tall. The cup doesn't give much support and has an extremely natural shape, much more so than Freya or almost anything else I've tried. This isn't my taste--to me my boobs look practically the same in this bra than they do braless, so I might as well just not wear a bra at all. I appreciate the sentiment of the narrow wires but I'll be returning these and wouldn't try Miss Mandalay again unless they improve the shape and support of their cups.

I got this bra second hand but its in lovely condition. After I measured it i thought that it wont work due to cup depth - but its works quite well (id prefer cup's depth to be smaller around 0.5cm). The wires are quite narrow as well as the strap separation. The bra overall gives a rounded shape and looks better than my 34D - Cleo » Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851). The band fits perfect on the loosest set of hooks. Lace on the top of cups doesnt dig in but im more like FOB, so for FOT it may not work that well. I have only one issue with this bra - hard wires that are stabbing my sternum a little so Im thinking to bend them a little and hope that will help as the bra seems to be comfy and looks sexy!

This bra is better for wider set breasts or a shallower shape. It's adequately projected, but not at the centre cup (where I need it most). I used to really like this bra (when first I got it years ago) but it was better made then, and I was a smaller size. I don't think it's well-scaled to a G cup. Also, the bands used to be really tight - and I heard that they still were - so I ordered a 34 back size. Should have gone with my regular 32.

Wire is too narrow (30DD or 32D probably would fit better)
Band is tight (possibly because cup is too small
    Projected shape
Bikini bottoms are cute, just a hair big in the front.

    Didn't fit

When I first got the 30E Miss Mandalay Paris in Scarlet with leopard print accents, at the beginning of my bra journey, the wires seemed too narrow, coverage under the arms inadequate, and the cups too deep. Now, more than three years later, the wire width is good and the cup depth fine, but the coverage under the arms is still inadequate. The worst part of this bra's fit for me is the gore, which is about 2.5" high. The biggest fit issue I have, now that my roots are narrower and my projection greater after breast migration, is painfully high center gores. The best gore height for ... me is 1.5" but 1.75" works too, in my 65F Ewa Michalak 3Ds.

The cups on this Scarlet Miss Mandalay Paris are deep. Consider my best fit in Cleo Marcie and Freya half cup bras is 30FF. The dozen or so Ewa Michalak 3D bras I have are 65F. If the side coverage were higher in Cleo Marcie, I could wear it in 30F. I speak of the original red color, the Bravissimo exclusive purple color, and the bright turquoise color of seasons past.

I realize there are people who need narrow, deep cups and low coverage under the arms. It still saddens me, though, to find Miss Mandalay Paris will apparently never be a good fit on me. It is pathetic I still have this new with tags bra and the new with tags matching panties. This is the bra enthusiast's version of unrequited love. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

This is my second bra since using r/abrathatfits to find my true size. The first was also a 30F but was a bit too small in the cups. My true size is 32F/FF but I thought 30F would fit. This fits like a 30FF (one of my sister sizes) so it fits great. I'm still new to bras that aren't molded cups, so it's a different feeling wearing something thin, but it's so comfortable. I think this gives me a pretty nice shape.

  8. Coco Balcony Bra (SG044)

Quality: On the whole, great. There's a couple slightly frayed, semi-finished edges (mostly where the wire channels end) but this is a previously owned bra so I'll take it. On the whole the fabric is light but supportive, firm but not aggressive, double-layered in all the right places, and super soft. Really wide, sturdy elastic throughout. Definitely one to hand-wash.
Comfort: Good! My only fitting issue is a little light wrinkling and some slight cutting in at the top of the cups - def a bra for projected shapes who don't mind their bras very closed on top. Otherwise, soft, sturdy, supportive, and pleasant to wear - only ... minimal hoisting and tugging necessary throughout the day. On the whole, I'd say that fit-wise, this bra runs slightly snug in the band and perhaps a sliver big in the cup - I wear a 30E in Fantasie and this 30DD fit me pretty freakin' well.
Appearance: The pink and purple are surprisingly non-garish but keep in mind there's a bunch of goddamn purple bows all over this thing and they are perhaps needlessly visible under camisoles and the like (though the seams on the cups disappear really well under a tight shirt). Your boobs are front-and-center in this bra.

IDEAL USES: Rococo-era pouting, summer croquet games, being carried about on a sedan chair, looking good in a fancy dress
KEY AESTHETICS: Marie Antoinette Meets Virgin Suicides, General Sofia Coppola-ery, Slutty Bennett Sister

Great bikini. The halter top allows you to really control the fit. Used for two seasons. Have a matching tie side bikini in small.

I love the look of this bra -- it's so cute! It's comfortable, well-designed (as far as I can tell), and is fun to wear.

That said, I don't think it's projected or wide enough for my breasts. I don't get as much as that "holy crap my boobs are awesome!" look that I get from other bras. The band is also a little looser than I'd prefer.

It's not my very favorite bra, but it's a solid go-to. I'd certainly recommend it to someone with a bit less projection and a tad less narrow than I.

The top fits great, doesn't cut, doesn't do the east/west thing that a lot of halter tops do. Bottoms are super cute but not enough coverage for my thirty year old modesty.

  14. Paris Balconette Bra

This band is very tight, but does have enough stretch to it that I'm not quite suffocating. I know that the band will stretch more with time; as of yet I've only had the bra for two months. It's already a lot less terrible than it was initially. I heartily suggest a Miss Mandalay 30 for the 28-back crowd. (It fits me with an extender.)

The cups fit my smaller breast perfectly, but there's a bit of cutting in on my larger one. This bra is really made for someone with no upper fullness at all. This bra displays it oddly, though: The inflexible ribbon at the top of ... the cup flares away from my breast instead of feebly attempting to conform to it as does on the breast it actually fits. I really feel like it's a strange design flaw, almost. I barely notice it at this point. I've had luck counteracting the ill aesthetic effects of the ribbon by playing around with strap tightness.

A very welcome difference in the fit of this bra compared to 32-band Miss Mandalays is that the wires fit me perfectly. There was no need for any bending where the wires met my underbust, or under my armpits. Short people, take note.

The shape this bra gives is comparable to a Miss Mandalay Paige: a rounded and natural shape.

I also had the same issue that Undiegamer had with her black Paris (http://undiegamer.com/2012/11/03/miss-mandalay-paris/). The top ribbon on the right cup began to fray away from the right side of the cup. As I bought this bra secondhand, I couldn't contact a manufacturer or anything, so I just stitched it up myself. Given the design flaws of this bra, I wouldn't recommend getting it full price in this color.

    • Yep, I get the same cutting in with the Claudette Dessous. That's too bad really, I like the style and construction a lot.

    • I guess it works for some people though, since there are quite a few of these around. It's such a sham it didn't work for me though, because it's super comfy!

This bra is close to a good fit. As I feared, the ribbon at the top of the cup cuts in a little, but it isn’t that bad and really depends on the way I stand or move, so I’m keeping it anyway.
The colour is gorgeous and I like that it’s sheer and unpadded, since I don’t own any unpadded bras at the moment.
The band does feel snug, but I cannot agree that it is way too tight. I feel very comfortable in it. The straps are a bit too wide apart for my taste, but it isn’t a problem.

I also rather like the shape it gives me, although it's not as round as in my padded bras. I'd describe it as natural but lifted, so I like it. I was afraid it might look very pointy, but it doesn't.

Since I haven't had it that long, I don't know if it'll stretch out.

This is one of the most beautiful bras ever made and gives a really nice round shape. Unfortunately, it is very slightly too small for me, so it cuts in a tiny bit. I would really need a 30HH or 32H. Generally speaking though, it is more open on top than your standard balconette. It's not quite open enough for me, but it would work in a bigger size.

Overall a perfectly lovely bra, but not for me.

Aesthetically, this bra is fantastic. I looove that they made a design element of the supportive side panel by making it a contrasting color of satin. Plus, the lace which makes up the bulk of the cups, in addition to being very pretty, has a gentle amount of stretch which helps with fit. It seems extremely well-made and the fabrics are wonderful to touch, so points all around there! Also, the bra is very comfortable, due in part to the really narrow wires - this bra I think has the narrowest wires I've ever tried, form a ... full U shape rather than a wider crescent. The end effect of this is that even though it offers a lot of coverage, it does not cut into my armpits (unlike SOME BRAS [read: most bras])

My main issue with this bra, despite all these pros, is the shape it creates. Not sure if it's because I'm naturally on the pointy side, or if that's just the way it's supposed to be, but the look is very torpedo-shaped, like a retro pin-up girl. Some people may like this look, but it's definitely not for me. So, despite all its nice points, I'll be putting this one up for sale.
