I would agree that the cups run on the small side. I'm a 30D and I purchased both a 32D and 32C and I didn't notice too much of a difference to be honest, but the 32D did encompass the breast tissue more completely. They are soft cups so didn't make too much of a difference and I ended up keeping both bras since there weren't too many color options left. I really love that this has the cute lacy beauty of a bralette, but is much more supportive than a bralette thanks to the longline style. It has a small plastic brace on either side under the arms that I don't even notice. Be aware this might cause problems for you, I personally always need my straps set to the longest setting so it went nowhere near my armpits, but some Amazon reviewers did report it bothered them. Otherwise the perfect bra in my opinion.
