Firstly I should mention that this bra is in fact a 28FF, but Marks and Spencer for some strange reason don't sell FF cups and instead call them G cups.
The fit of this bra is not right at all. Firstly, the band is extremely tight and has little stretch. It feels more like a 26 or even smaller - my underbust measurement is 27" and this is bra is still a bit too tight with an extender. Secondly, the cups are too small, giving me quad-boob and flattening me out.
Looks-wise, it is a nice bra. It is a bright blue colour with lace overlay on the cups and the inside has a blue & white spotty design. It is a low-cut plunge style, which would give good cleavage in the right size. It is also a comfortable bra and the wires do not dig in. Just not one for me.
This bra is firm and tight in the band. It seems to have a lot of stitching in the bottom part of the band so hopefully it will not stretch badly. I can fit more than 2 fingers under the band, but this is pretty much as tight as I am going to find. The cups themselves are pretty with out over doing it. The colors contrast nicely and the lace overlay covers the seams from the 3 part cups. I'd like the straps to be thinner, but they are fully extended with plenty of room to tighten. The underwire does sit higher in the armpit but I have no issues with it digging. I am really happy with this bra. I hope it wears well and does not stretch too badly.
On me, I have found that the 28G (28FF) and the 28F fit very similarly, this is why they both sorta fit me. The 28G is larger only by a little with higher cups and more of it going into your armpits. The band on this bra is very firm, it fits like a loose 24 or tight 26 band. I can fasten it, put 2 fingers under the band, etc but it feels quite tight.
I dislike the wires the most. They are very stiff and quite painful. I need to bend them to relieve pressure off certain areas.
My tight underbust is 25.5" and this band is so small that I can't even clasp it. This black bra would be good for someone who needs a band that is smaller than a 26.
I bought this bra from an ebay seller, but I don't think the sizing on this is right at all. I remeasured the underwire, and it's more closer to 9.3 inches. Based on the measurements, I would say this is more like a 28FF.
This bra comes up far too small. Firstly, the band is very tight - I can just about get the bra on, but can barely breathe and it would be very uncomfortable, probably painful, to wear for more than a minute or two. This would be good for anyone who wants a 26 band, and I imagine it would still be fairly snug then! I could just about manage to measure it at 27 inches stretched.
Now, the cups. I found out after I bought this bra that M&S miss out an FF cup and go straight to G, but even so, they are very small, and quite shallow. I didn't take a photo of me wearing the bra because it was just ridiculous - quadboobing like mad everywhere!
IMO this is far from wearable as a 28G, but at a rough guess I would recommend this size for perhaps a 26E/F or something around there? Let me know if you want to give it a go!
The band is way tighter than a 28, I can only get it to stretch to 27 pulling hard. My ribcage is 27", but I don't like very tight bands so this is no good for me.
It is labelled 28G, but M&S skip out FF cup, so it's actually a 28FF, although I'd call it a 28G really.
This bra is awesome! I think it would fit better in a size down- unless I am using excellent posture, there is some gaping at the top, however, this bra is EONs better than my 34B molded cup bras. It looks smooth under shirts (you can't even see the gaping). In some of my thinnest shirts, you could see a hint of the top of the cup, and a hint of the diagonal seam, but you couldn't see the lace detail at all. The inside is awesomely polka-dotted. As noted elsewhere, M&S skips the FF, so this would be a 28FF, but since ...the band only stretches to 27", it's really more of a 26G. I've got a 26" ribcage measured tightly, and this felt very snug. The wing height is a little higher than in the Flirtelles, so between that and the snug band, I didn't have to re-swoop and scoop. The molded cup doesn't add bulk, but it does keep things modest if you're concerned about headlights. This bra gives a more rounded and spread look, as opposed to forward-projected, but I like the silhouette. I think in one size down I may even get cleavage. Read more 102 more words
