    Didn't fit

I'm a former Josie fan, as I used to buy most of my bras from them. I no longer do because they don't carry anything lower than a 32 band, which I now know is not my correct size. However, bias aside, it's alright, if you fit in their tiny 32-36 B-DD size range.

-I love longlines, so I was very excited to see one in [what I thought was] my size that was affordable (about $45). However, once I tried it on, I realized it's not a full longline: there are only two rows of hooks in the back, and the longline look comes from the front being ... a few inches longer than the back. Not only does this make it roll up a lot, but it lacks the longline shape I was so excited for.

-I don't really like the shape this bra gives me. This is probably because of it being at least a band size too big, but I think it's also because the bra is made from very soft and flexible moulded foam. It conforms to your shape, rather than shaping you. This may seem like a great feature, but I find that it fails to support me at all. I've noticed this with a lot of Natori bras, and I suspect it has something to do with their inadequate size range.

-Another thing I've noticed about Josie that's shown well in this bra is that the wires are very wide, but the cups are not very deep, but they're round.

-The cups are also pretty separate. It's a plunge style, but the wires start to curve up into a low center gore when they're still about 2 inches apart.

-One good thing about the bra is the comfort. Since the cup fabric is so soft, it doesn't irritate your skin too much. I wouldn't wear this for running errands or shopping as it isn't supportive enough, but maybe for watching movies or something else where you just want to sit around and be cozy.

-Another good thing is that the actual appearance (other than being a fake longline) is pretty cute and comes in lots of cool colors.

I wouldn't recommend this bra for close together boobs, boobs that project a lot, soft boobs, sub-32 bands, DD+ cups, or people who want a real longline.
I would recommend it to separate, wide root, flat boobs that fit in the lucky size range.

Not only is this bra a too big band size for me, the band is very stretchy which makes the problem worse. It may fit a true 32 band, but it should probably be someone who prefers their bands not super tight. It's very comfortable and soft, although I know push ups are not always recommended for breast health. I would honestly buy this bra if it came in my actual size, regardless of whether it was a push up or not.

    Fits

Okay, weirdly, this is the ONLY molded cup bra I've tried on that did not gap in some position or another. I can reach my arms in front of me, slouch, whatever, and the cups still fit. Which is a tiny miracle, because I can't even get lightly padded bras to behave.

Josie is Natori's "youth" brand and comes in a really limited size range (I think 32B-36DDD). It just happens that in a stretchy band I can fit a 36 okay. The band on this is a tiny bit tight, but think "wear it with an extender for a couple weeks then it'll be fine" too tight. It's ... looser than my 85C Ewa bra.

Two big downsides. The first is that this is a sort of pseudo-longline bra. It's long in the front but tapers down to a 2-hook 1 1/2-inch clasp (which, really? You couldn't even do 3 hooks?). This means the band tends to roll up because it's not super stable. It also means if you want a long line for extra support you should look elsewhere.

The second downside is that the cups are covered in a fairly thick decorative mesh. It's cute (mine is purple over hot pink cups), but there's a giant thick seam down the center of the cup, which sort of defeats the one of the main purposes of having a molded cup (which is to have it not show under unforgiving shirts). Most of my tshirts are okay with a seamed lace cup, but this thing is like, KAPOW, CHECK OUT MY BOOB SEAM. It is the thickest seam I have ever seen on a bra.

I haven't worn this bra enough to comment on quality or comfort yet. It wasn't expensive, so we'll see how it holds up. Based on the fit I want to run out and try more stuff in this brand, mostly because I'd really like to have ONE molded-cup tshirt bra in my arsenal for those difficult shirts.

First, the good things about this bra: It is reasonably priced, the wire size and shape is absolute heaven for me, and I feel that the the push-up boosts a reasonable amount without looking too different from a regular t-shirt bra. Also, I don't own it, but the "sailor blue" color is adorable with the white trim and red hooks.

The bad things: I really need a much smaller band, after 3 months of wear it has stretched to 36"! However 32 is the smallest band they make. Also, the wires dig in underneath my boobs, there is no padding or lining at all. ... I believe that the "wires" are actually plastic, because any attempts at re-shaping them a la Boosaurus did absolutely nothing. Because the band is so loose, my boobs creep out of the wires which leads to the top of the cup gaping within minutes of putting it on because my boobs are so full on the bottom. The straps are wide, and rub my armpits.

The bottom line: I still wear this bra relatively frequently, but I would never buy another one.

Extremely soft and comfortable, nothing digs in on me. I think the fit is pretty consistent with the other Natori bras I've tried, so this will probably fit you if you've had a good experience with Natori bras. The cups are soft but have a good thickness and look very smooth because of the fabric on top, so this should make a good t-shirt bra.

While this bra doesn't fit technically, it is comfortable and supports me while doing mild-moderate exercises. It cuts into my tall roots and is to wide for my roots and doesn't have adjustable straps, leaving the straps too long. The cup volume seems to be just about right, maybe a tad to big, and the band is prefect! It's a struggle to get on, but the band is comfortably snug once I get myself into it.
For reference, my 'normal' size is 28E/F so this is really not a 32 band!

    • rargh I feel like 60%+ of the bras out there cut into people with tall roots :( womp womp

    • Yep. At least this one doesn't hurt and isn't too noticeable.
I plan to do some new surgery on this to tighten the straps. I think that week pull the cups up and possibly help the root problem.

I have teardrop shaped breasts, shallow on top and full on bottom. They are also wideset, fitting three fingers comfortably in between.

This bra looks sooo adorable that I just can't help wearing loose tank tops, sheer shirts, or lowcut things with it so it will show through. The longline part does ride up a little overtime, but nowhere near as bad (or uncomfortably) as the Josie Luscious Balconette which I also have.

I usually wear a 32DDD, but this sister size seems to fit perfectly and the band seems firm and not too loose. Not sure what it would be like in a 32 on me as if ... I remember the store didn't have one.

The shape of the cups on this bra seems to work really well with my natural breast shape which makes me feel confident wearing this bra. The straps are also made of a really smooth and soft fabric which I like. The band hasn't really stretched out at all and the lace/mesh has held up much better on this bra than my Balconette one after having it for multiple years.

The main issue I have with this bra (besides the bottom riding up) is pretty minor. The center underwires are a little too close together, so if I look straight down I can see a bit of space between my breasts and the wire. However, because of the plunge style the amount of underwire that comes around the inside of the boob is negligible (the gore sits very very low) and the rest of the underwire sits pretty well against my breast though. But it does make the cup slightly too wide I guess.

Another problem is that the underwire is rather squeaky. I've not had this problem with other bras, and despite trying some different things I can't get it to not squeak.

I do wish it had 3 or more hooks instead of 2, as I have an achey-prone back which really appreciates the extra pressure/support.

I have teardrop shaped breasts, shallow on top and full on bottom. They are also wideset, fitting three fingers comfortably in between.

I was suprised that this bra worked best for me in a 32DD as I usually fit a 32DDD (or 34DD). All of my other Natori/Josie bras have bigger sizes, and the top of these cups even gape slightly on me, so I would say that these run a cup large. 32D definitely had too small cups for me though.

This bra has a super cute design, the colours are vibrant, and I love the 3-clasp longline style as it feels really good on my back. The front ... adjustments on the straps are SUPER convenient and easy to use (in addition to being a cute red accent colour) and I wish way more bras had this feature. However there are a couple downsides.

The bottom elastic of the longline doesn't stay down at all. It slowly rides up after a few seconds of wear and creates wrinkles in the fabric. I may try altering it somehow (or maybe fashion tape/glue would work?) but it doesn't bother me too much as I don't tend to wear it with tight shirts. Which would be because the tops of the cups roll. Not very much, bust just enough to show through drapey/tight shirts. I've had this bra for awhile though, but I ran into this problem right away (and I always wash my bras in a lingerie bag on cold).

The straps are a little wider than comfortable for me personally, but I don't really run issues with them sliding off or anything.

The gore seems to be too narrow for me. It tacks on the top edge and the bottom of the longline stays flat against my skin (if it isn't riding up) but the center fabric of the gore between the underwires pulls taut and lifts up from my skin. Pressing the underwires towards eachother when I'm wearing it causes the fabric to rest flat against my skin, so I think my wideset breasts are pulling the two sides away from eachother to cause that. This bra might work better for someone with slightly closer-set breasts.

Looking at the pictures I took of myself in the bra, it seems to look like it rides up slightly in the back although I never have felt like it wasn't flat in the back or supporting me. I'm not sure if its just since the band is so stretchy compared to the clasp that it creates that look, although I also think the band had stretched out some since I bought it (and I've also lost some weight since I last wore it). I tried clasping it on a closer hook, and it still looked like it was riding up, despite not being able to lift away far from the body. (so yeah, def gonna start wearing it a hook in from now on). I can't remember exactly how old this bra is, a couple years or more. Besides the band, it has some fraying spandex threads from the lace mesh, but otherwise has held up quite well. The colours are pretty true to when I first got it and none of the actual construction threads are fraying or loose at all, even with the extra stress from the gore pulling taut constantly.

This is a comfortable bra, but the band is very stretchy. It closes in the front, so there's no way to adjust the band size once it stretches out.

It's a very cute bra and it would probably be good if you fall in their size range. I have it from before I got educated about my size. It kinda just sits on my body and doesn't really do anything for me. I would say the band is a little tighter than most 32s.

Not a good bra for close-set breasts with inner fullness. The cups were very widely spaced on me, resulting in some serious quad-boobing toward the center, and a very east-west shape when I tried to tuck myself into the cups. Wires were much too wide for me as well, and I couldn't get the bra to sit high enough beneath my inframammary fold. That said, if you're wide-set, shallow, and need wide wires, this might be the bra for you.

Style-wise, I think this bra is much more attractive in black. I didn't like the cafe/blushing pink combo at all. It's made up of a tan mesh fabric band, solid tan straps, and a pink lining on the cups that's visible through the mesh. The pink and tan doesn't combine very nicely... even though the bra I tried on was brand new, it looked almost dirty because of the way the colors blend together.

I love this bra but unfortunately it doesn't love me back. The sides of the cups (Not the wires) seem to be really high cutting into the front of the arm pit which distorts the cup and makes it pucker outward making it hard to fill out. I really like this bra, it's very comfy and elegantly simple with floral lace touch on the side wings. The quality is top notch too. I just wish it fit better, maybe better for someone who doesn't have high set breasts.
