I got this in a 36D last year and I still wear this bra because it is comfortable but no it does not fit. I'm projected, full on top, 36DD-E. I couldn't fit the cup properly. It wrinkled at the top and I don't fit the middle of it, as in my nipples point downward and not forward so it's even the middle is a gap. This is the only bra I wear because the straps are comfortable even though the shape is a complete mismatch. (Got this in Klein Blue)
Most likely what's happening is the band is too tight and potentially the straps as well. The band and straps should fit snug enough not the dig in and cause redness and deep imprints but also should not slide when moving your body around.
It's possible you may be a 38/40 but also depends on how the cups fit as well. If the cups are uniform with it then simply try a bigger band size.
A little experimentation works wonders especially when doing a try-on prior to purchasing whenever possible.
I ordered this before I knew about ABTF. The wire digs into my skin and sits below my IMF. It leaves a really painful mark on my underbust. The cups aren't easy for me to fill even though I'm a 36DD-E and this is a 36D cup. Even when I swoop and scoop it would have gaps at the top. I have a feeling this bra is best for shallow breasts. I'm not entirely sure but the model in the photo seems to have shallow breasts: https://intimatefashions.pk/collections/bras/products/broom-demi?variant=43849085518052
