    Fits

This bra was a purchase at a renowned fitter. I have been very athletic most of my life and believe it or not almost never wore a bra. I had no under breast fold. Since I have reached late middle age things have gotten softer so I thought I would try for the millionth time to find something that fits. I am not an obvious fit. I am very surprised that I am a C or D or DD cup. Anyway this is a pretty good fit, with just a little too much back and the 4" gore isn't my favorite feature. I went with the front close idea because of spinal issues, but have since resigned myself to a clasp in the back, for more leeway in fit. This is a supportive bra, not all that pretty. Made in Canada. A good wire free option and comes in a back close version as well.

  2. Cotton Floral Knit Soft Cup (8550)

    Didn't fit

Not my favorite. This bra works by compressing my breasts, rather like a cheap sports bra, but the cups are so stretchy that it offers no support. Lots of bouncing happens when I walk. And despite the band being way too big, it manages to dig into my rib at one spot, just because the side seam is rather bulky. And it's unattractive. I only bought this because the fitter insisted it was the best fit, out of my unappealing, limited options. Grumble. If it only cost $15, like a bralette or spandex sports bra, I probably wouldn't be bothered by it.
