I had been coveting this bra for a while and found it on sale. This was the first time I tried Freya (along with the Ellie) and ordered my normal 38h. The band is a bit stretchy, but I doubt I could comfortably go down a size (i did end up exchanging the Ellie for a 36 though). The cups fit... ok. While I didn't have any major signs of quad-boob or wrinkling, I just think my boobs aren't the right shape for this bra. I don't know enough about the brand to know how the bras generally fit, but I know I get a great fit with ...Elomi and Curvy Kate. In addition, the center gore didn't lie flat. It was against my chest all right, but one side of the wire was sort of twisted. The shape and support seemed pretty good considering I didn't get a great fit.
I'm keeping this bra mostly because I love the pattern. As long as it doesn't stretch too much with wear, I think I'll be fine. It's the sort of bra I might wear in the winter under a sweater, so I know I have something cute on underneath, but that I don't need to worry about perfect shape or fit as with something clingy. 38H - Freya ยป Daisy Lace Balcony (5131) had a lot of room at the top of the cup, which is an unusual problem for my shape. This left some large gaps at the straps and sides. The shape was quite low and pointy. I think a smaller cup size might solve some of the issues. Overall, I didn't care for the feel of this or the look.
The band size of this bra is too big for me, so I wanted to point this out from the start. I usually wear a 36, but bought this bra because it was on sale (36H was not available). I won't make that mistake again, because Freya bands already tend to run big...
The cups on this bra seemed to fit just fine, but the gore still didn't tack. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the band not being tight enough, in contrast to the cups not fitting. I'm typically a 36H/36HH, so I believe a 38H should fit just fine in terms of cup volume. The ...wires do run a little wide for me, since I have narrow roots.
In typical Freya fashion, the straps on this bra are very comfortable and very sturdy. I do need to adjust the straps frequently.
The material on the bra is very comfortable and the pattern and colors are very beautiful! I find Freya to have some of the prettiest and most feminine patterns and this bra does not disappoint.
I think the bra would fit very well if I had gotten the right band size. Read more 85 more words
Well, a wireless bra is a wireless bra. I am waiting for the day someone makes a soft cup bra that doesn't mash the boobs together. I hate boobshelf! This bra does a decent job of not being a continuous shelf of boob, by defining the space in between the boobs, but the center is far from resting on my chest.
The bra is very pretty though and the fabric feels strong and supportive. It looks very vintage with the salmon with cream polka dots and lace. Which I guess makes it appropriate to give a vintage pointy, upfront shape! This bra gives good support and fits me well. The cup is very full coverage and the lift is good. I think this would be a great sleep bra, or even a very light duty sports bra for me.
This was the first Freya bra I've bought, and it was on sale. Although I wear a 38H/HH in Elomi, Curvy Kate, and Panache, this was a poor fit. Although I understand many Freya bras, especially this one, have stretchy bands. I sent this one back to exchange for a 36J since the cup seemed a bit small, too. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures before I sent it back.
I love how it looks. The purple floral and green trim is unusual, which is why I bought it. I much prefer a small amount of lace trim to an entire lace top section of a cup. Since it was ...too small in the cup, I got some quad boob. The band was much too big and stretchy, even on the tightest hook. The center gore didn't lie completely flat. It was against my sternum, but one underwire sort of twisted. The same thing happened in the Freya Tabitha I also bought, but it fit everywhere else and wasn't uncomfortable, so I guess I just must to have the right body for Freya. Read more 73 more words
