The width on the wires of this bra are perfect for my wide-set breasts, and the top of the cup is a perfect fit, however, the bottom of the cup is quite shallow, which does cause my band to feel a teeny bit snugger than I would like. The material is even more adorable in person than it is in pictures. The shape this bra gives is also phenomenal. GREAT lift, and a very round shape.
The are are only a real complaints.
1. From what I have seen in other reviews I am not alone on this; but the lack of boning in the longline causes the bottom of it to constantly roll up. This is pretty annying. 2. The wires are shorter than I'd like, so there is a little bit of side boob escaping.
Overall, the fit isn't perfect, but it's close enough that I'm willing to deal with the issues for the simply fact that this bra is seriously the more adorable thing ever.
I am terribly disappointed that this bra didn't work out for me, as I wanted it so badly. However, it seems to run almost a full cup size too big, and is cut much shallower at the bottom, but bigger and more open at the top than the Just Flew In longline. I ordered the Just Flew In in the same size and it fit completely different.
Since the cups are so wide at the top the straps are also very wide-set, which didn't work for me. Also the band is VERY stretchy. The band on the 36 measures a full 39-39.5 when stretched. It really is a darling bra though, so I would recommend sizing down in the cup, and possibly also the band.
Another very pretty one that seems pretty comfortable, but considering it doesn't fit me that well, I'm probably not the best judge. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I would tell a friend (or even an enemy) with similar boobs to avoid this bra like the plague. I think it would fit someone with boobs that sit on their chest with no "escapees" to the side perfectly, but for me with boobs that tend to flee to my armpits this just doesn't work. And that's not even getting started on the strap placement (too wide for my ultra narrow shoulders), or the digging center gore. Also, I recommend double checking the band size (definitely don't size up!) when I bought it, the band was perfect, and it's stretched out now to where it's just loose. Your mileage may vary, of course.
Recommended for: Narrow root, wide shoulders, breasts that are "front and center" (though maybe not if they touch in the center).
Not recommended for: Wide root, narrow shoulders, petite women, or high-set breasts.
I seriously wanted to love this bra (red & white polka dots! So cute!) but no. 2 hrs & I'm ready to rip it off. Somehow it manages to simultaneously be too short under the arms and so high as to poke my armpits. Even the straps irritate me. They stay put and the band offers enough support that they don't dig but they feel scratchy & pokey too. And while I don't always need the round, boobs on a platter look, I look like Madonna circa 1990 in this. Except the cones point south. The only redeeming factor is it seems well made.
