This bra doesn't match my shape and therefore it looks kind of pointy. However, 28FF does seem to be the right volume for me in Freya, I think I just need a cut that isn't quite as projected in the apex.

This is the best fitting bra I own right now, initially discouraged by the sheer and unpadded cup, it's turned out to be a winner! I would highly recommend this bra to anybody who is FOB and narrow.

    Pros

    Looks cute
    Sturdy straps
Band is well constructed and doesn't make me look lumpy
    Gives a great shape

    Cons
Some may not like that it's sheer
Headlights can be seen when on https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />
Underwires poke me under the arm

This bra is practically brand new so the measurements I've taken shouldn't be too far from the new item.

The band is ludicrously large even on the tightest hooks, it barely touches my skin. I would recommend this for someone who takes a 30 band maybe even 32. Also, the cups are a little too separate for my breasts.

The look of the bra is delightful though and the color cheers me up just to look at it.
The foam of the cups is that good stuff that springs right back when you crush it instead of denting.

The wire width is perfect, like another freya 28ff I have. The band feels slightly more snug compared to other 28s. It seems significantly tighter than their 30 bands. The projection is way too much, and the top of the cup is baggy.

This would be perfect if it were a halfcup and slightly padded, like the other Erin.

As far as my boobs go, they have a really.wide root, especially in comparison to my frame. The start under the center of my armpit. They also sit a bit lower on my frame, probably a little.iver an inch above the medial part of my ribcage. They're not too shallow, and they are self supporting.

Overall, not a good fit, but the wires are perfect.

Nice bra, like the idea of the side panel, but the wires were much much too wide for my root. The straps also seemed quite far apart, but overall comfortable (just tried this on).

This fits with a bit of gapping on the top, so it seems like I might be in between sizes on the Deco. The top edge of the bra still shows under tops, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a seamless bra, but it's still comfy and mostly smooth, so I don't mind. Underwires are still pretty narrow, but just a smidge wide for me.

This bra is almost perfect. A couple of problems though.

First there is a little bit of wrinkling in the cups. The top lace lays flat but at the nipples I don't quite fill it out. Also it has quite a pointy shape to it. The wires are too wide for me as well. I measure 27 snug UB and the band rides up.

My boobs are very close set (less than a pinky finger between), Plunge bras are the only ones that will work and the gore on this is the absolute perfect height for me. Also I found the straps pretty comfortable and I was just going to fix the riding up band issue with a rixie clip.

It's very cute, if you can get over the pointy shape it gives you. I'll be returning this one, though.

I really love the design of the Freya Taylor and wish it would fit in some size! The tops a bit too closed off, making the cup more shallow than I need; I'm hoping it might fit in a 28G. Otherwise, the band's nice and comfy.

Love how the longline fits It's the most secure strapless bra I've ever tried on. It shapes the bust like all those strapless wedding dresses that look oh so perfect. It is a nice tight band that really holds in place well and supports the girls securely without straps. Unfortunately the cups on this bra are far too big for me and the sides of the cup are into my armpits. It's definitely large for the cup size. I'm going to try to find a smaller cup size in this bra as the shape and the stability is very comfortable and nice.

  11. Piper Padded Longline Bra (1233)

Cup height (measured from the outside center of the cup): 5.625"; 6" including lace

I have this in the cornflower blue color, which is beautiful--I was so excited to buy this bra!

I've been holding onto it for a couple of weeks now because I just don't understand it. I have and love several other Freya longlines in 28FF that fit just amazingly on me, but while the Piper technically fits, it just isn't... perfect.

The cup height is comparable to the other Freya longlines I own, but the lace doesn't lay flat and the cup seems to come up so much higher than the others on my short-rooted breasts. In ... fact, on my smaller breast, there is quite a lot of gapping at the top, even with an insert.

The straps also don't work for me--they are fully adjustable but still don't seem to adjust tight enough for me, even when fully tightened.

I wonder if both problems are caused by stretchier fabric than the other longlines, because I have the same issue in the straps with my Patsy Half-Cups, which is very stretchy.

Anyway, I wanted to love this bra so badly, but I think I'll have to rehome it.

  12. Nina Plunge Balcony Bra (4981)

It is comfortable and supportive. Like most Freya bras I have the issue that the top of the bra comes up high and isn't completely full, but the middle of the bra (where the cups meet) is starting to cut very slightly so I don't think I can go down a size. However in this bra this issue doesn't seem as pronounced as in other Freya styles and although in the pictures I think it is obvious and I can see some puckering, in real life I don't think it is noticeable.
Initially i didn't like the pattern as I am not really into pink (there is ... a blueish version of this bra which I prefer, but isn't made in 28 for some reason). However I think the pattern will grow on me so I bought it anyway as it feels so comfortable.

I am adding the following comment to my original review.
I never actually wear this as it just doesn't quite work for my shape, although it comes closer than lots of other freya styles. Bratabase shows that it fits but I don't think it really does, but it is hard to say why not. On each of the fit questions it is ok, and yest it just isn't quite right.

I don't usually like unmolded bras but this one gives me a great shape! I have very projected breasts & this bra gives them a slightly pointed I but for sweaters it's great! The only issue I have with this bra is the slide thing on the straps. The plastic digs really badly into the top of my collar & there is a mound of fabric right underneath the plastic slider where it was sewn on making it even worse! I may have to sew the straps shorter to I can slide the adjuster away from my collar bone.

  14. Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223)

This bra is very comfortable and fits pretty well, though I think the wires are a little too wide for me--it looks and feels fine, but the wires definitely go out a little too far for me, even though I think my root is fairly wide. The wires seem less wide in my Totally Tartan longline, but the cut is similar. I think a narrower wire would give me a better fit.

I tried this in a 28F as well, and although I was getting a barely noticeable amount of quadboob I think it could have worked too. I was just wary of the bra becoming painful after a ... long day (I get fibrocystic breasts occasionally). The 28F did not gap as much when I slouched or moved around. The 28FF has more noticeable gapping when I move, but I have pretty good posture anyway and you can't tell under my shirts.

The straps are fully adjustable. The band has two hooks, but my Rixie Clip won't work as the hook spacing is a little farther apart on the bra, which is disappointing! Unfortunately, the band seems to ride up in the back after wearing it all day. I may alter the band to make it a little smaller.

The bra gives a nice round, uplifted shape, though I saw more uplift in the smaller size. The two vertical seams are visible under tight shirts. The pattern is super cute (I have this in the ballet pink color).

  15. Totally Tartan Padded Longline Bra (1424)

This is a really great-looking bra--to me, the denim print makes it fun and not overly feminine. There's no lace to show under tight-fitting shirts, just a small trim, and the seams aren't terribly visible either. The shape is nice and round and it gives pretty good lift.

The fit is my best yet. I wore this all day yesterday on the loosest hooks and it was consistently tight, which is nice when you have a sub-28 underbust; it didn't stretch out over the course of the day and I felt well-supported. The underwires didn't poke and are a perfect length for my build. The bottom of the band ... didn't roll up for me at all. I was really impressed with how it stayed in place.

However, the edging of the material is rigid and the bra's wings really dug into my shoulder muscles (I lift weights and have a high-set chest so this may not be a problem for everyone). I was actually surprised when I took the bra off at the end of the day and it hadn't broken my skin. I'm hoping the fabric will soften up with a few more wears, and I won't wear it for 12+ hours again if I can help it!

If you're not used to longlines, like me (this was my first!), you might have a difficult time putting the thing on. It's got six hooks and I had to get my husband to help. I'm sure with a bit of practice it'll get easier.

UPDATE, 11/23: One week in and this is absolutely my most comfortable and best-fitting bra yet. It's no longer painful at all and seems to have loosened up a bit, but it still stays in place way better than any of my other bras (I have 26ish-inch ribcage, so 28 bands are usually a little big). I'd recommend this bra without reservations and I'm planning on purchasing more of Freya's longlines!

This is my current favorite. It has the perfect amount of plunge and projection. If you like a more rounded shape, this may not be the bra for you. If you like a more forward, slightly pointed (retro) shape, then this bra will be perfect for you. Lifts up and forward. Love it.

Finally a deco that has wide enough wires for my shallow breasts without cups bulging half empty. And it's not too high on the armpits.

    Few complaints:
    - I have to hook it on the tightest.
    - shoulder straps are so wide, that I'd not like to use this everyday.

This bra has the largest stretched band of any 28 I've ever tried (32.5"). It's absurd. I can get away with wearing it on the tightest set of hooks, sort of, but I wish Freya would make 28s that were 28-29" like they used to. I feel like my bra might be a fluke, however, since no-one else seems to be recording stretched band measurements that are quite so large. But then the issue becomes one of quality control. Come on, Freya!

As for cup size, slightly less generous than the regular Deco. The cups are the barest touch too small whereas I struggle to fill the Deco plunge (at least in black; less so in grey).

  20. Deco Honey Moulded Plunge Bra (1254)

This was my favourite bra for the first few months I had it. It was incredibly supportive, had great shape and was very comfortable. However, the band has stretched extensively and now stretches to a good 32 inches after just four months. This makes it practically unwearable as the band is up near my shoulder blades https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I have also outgrown the cups (or perhaps tissue migration? who knows) and the gore no longer sits flat and I must loosen the shoulder straps to avoid quad boob. I am disappointed that this is the case as I really loved the shape the Deco Honey gave me. Basically, be aware that this style's bands stretch very quickly and the measurements are no longer accurate after a few months. I hope that Freya will address this issue soon as it seems to be a common complaint.
