    Didn't fit

This bra's cups are made of non-stretch fabric. There is a seam along the top that does not stretch. For me, I need the top of the cup to be open; otherwise, I end up with quadboobs as I do with this bra.

The band is too long for me. The Freya bands seem to run big in comparison to, say, Panache bands.

This is all too bad since the wire itself fits me nicely.

When I bought this bra, it was already slightly small. As such, I didn't wear it. Now that I have gained weight, it really does not fit, so it's time for me part with it.
This is a solid bra. The cups are non-stretch fabric. It creates a more natural than a rounded shape.

  3. The cups are slightly too close-set for me -- I'm pretty wide-set, yet still narrow. Working from my armpit inwards, wires follow my IMF well about 5/8 of the way.
The gap starts at 7/5 o'clock. It's definitely too big a cup size for me--there's plenty of space in the upper lace section. The straps are stiff and a bit difficult to adjust.

For what it's worth, it's a very pretty bra. Bad fit for me, but that's my fault. I didn't measure myself properly and ended up with the wrong cup size.

This bra is beautiful but the cups are too projected for me and I can't fill them. Also, the center gore comes up too high and does not fit well.

I had to sew center gore closer, I wish there was a size in between this one and the 30 F one I had, I feel like it would be perfect somewhere in between. I love the appearance and shape it has, but the larger cup gave me less lift from the profile.

  6. This bra didn't fit when it arrived -- the cups gaped at the top and sides. I was wearing 28DD lace plunge bras.
Then epic water retention happened and I was wearing 28E/F (Freya/Cleo) for a week.
TODAY it fits quite well. The cups lie flat at the top, the stretch lace is comfortably snug, and the sides gently cup the outer curve of my breasts instead of gaping.

The takeaway: if you have breasts that change cup size throughout the month, it can be a good idea to keep track of what bras fit as your breasts wax and wane through your cycle.

    Hasn't set fit

Backwards & Upsidedown: Fits looser than most 30 bands I've come across, but isn't slipping and is very comfortable.
Wires: Extend past breast tissue, do not poke. Seem slightly too short?
Gore: Floating slightly. Resting on breast tissue on left side.
Cups: Quad-boob. Underwire .5-1 finger below IF. No pain.
Straps: Love them. Wide, padded, cute, and completely adjustable. Band is parallel to floor.
Comfort: Fits fine. Seems tight on underwire on right boob. Makes my back begin to hurt.

    Didn't fit

    Background first:
I have wide set, shallow, slightly splayed boobs; tall roots but soft and deflated, so my braless shape is full on bottom. The left side is about half a size larger than the right, but it's also more deflated and concave on top when unsupported.

The Gem isn't a bad-looking bra. My dh especially liked the lace panels at the top of the cup. The straps have lacy loops along the sides, which are pretty but made adjusting the strap length somewhat challenging. The bra is nice and lightweight, just right for summertime.

On me, the fit is problematic. The wires are just ... a hair too narrow, but a swoop-and-scoop can still bring all the breast tissue in where it belongs. The band is borderline too snug; I had heard that one should size down in the band on this bra, but I would have been more comfortable in my usual 30. If I otherwise liked the bra I might just wear an extender until the band stretched...but I don't otherwise like it that much. The top of the cup makes a nice smooth line on my big side, but the small side wrinkles unpleasingly at the top. I also am not fond of the silhouette this bra creates on me -- weirdly narrow and almost inward-pointing, compared to my usually east-west facing apexes. For a person with narrower roots and less splay this would probably be a great little bra.

This is a lovely, light weight, breathable bra. I love the color and bows, it's all very cute and delicate.

Like all freya seam bras it is too closed at the top of the cup for me. I suppose if you had a more FOB shape, or very sudden projection at the top root of your breasts this might work. I have even fulness so it's not a great fit on me.

I really wish freya had some models similar to this with stretch lace. That would solve nearly all the fit issues I have. But alas, this is not the way things are.

This is a very comfortable bra. It does tend to cut in a bit at the top of my bust giving me quadboob, but otherwise the shape it gives me is good.
