This bra is great. It does its job: keeping my boobs from bouncing. The bra is an encapsulation bra.It lifts and supports your breasts, and minimizes bounce. The straps are semi-adjustable. The hooks have 4 columns of 4 rows.

A quick note: I have recently experienced breast growth that means this bra no longer fits. I will provide feedback on how it fits now, and before my growth.

With that being said, I've found the band runs quite a bit tighter than my 32-bands for day wear. However, the extra hooks along the back means more versatility, and thus more comfort. Unfortunately, the fabric the hooks are sewn onto ... stretches quite easily and after only a few months, whilst the rest of the bra is showing no signs of wear, where the hooks are attached is very warped. Aside from that, I don't have issues with the band rubbing, digging in, or not fitting - it's great!

The underwires are a bit too wide. They actually sit behind my arms! Needless to say, I have a lot of spare space in the cups underneath my arms. This doesn't affect the performance of the bra though, and it still keeps me from bouncing.

The straps are a good length - neither too long nor too short, which is great since they aren't fully adjustable. The straps are lightly padded for comfort, which I really love, because I tend to get sore shoulders during a workout.

The cups used to fit well, with only some slight wrinkling at the base of the cups between my breast tissue and underwires (though I have this issue in most bras). It did not affect performance, nor did it cause discomfort. The gore sat flat against my chest, without digging in. The cups gave me a slightly pointy shape.

Now, the cups dig in to my breast tissue, the gore will not sit flat, and I am noticing more bunce than before (but still better than any other sports bra I've had yet). The gaping at the bottom of the cups is worse than ever. I still manage to get pretty pointy breasts.

With that being said, the bra is remarkably comfortable. Plus, I am training for circus, so a lot of my workout is running, tumbling, spinning, hanging upside down, bouncing, rolling, or other such movements. This bra has held up very well over 3-4 intense workouts a week, for several months, the only wear showing is the hook-fabric warping as already mentioned. I do not bounce, nor do I fall out of this or have to readjust while working out, even if I'm hanging upside down on a rope, or flipping on a trampoline. I have never had the band/underwires/gore dig in or rub. The only downside is the gapping at the bottom of the cups.

  2. Underwired Sports Bra (4002)

This was the first bra I owned that I could jump in. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I hate running, but it is a nice feeling to be ABLE to run without your arms crossed over your chest. The band is not super stretchy and even felt a little uncomfortably tight to start off with. It took some time adjusting to, but the support is excellent. When I jump there is some very small movement of breast tissue, but it feels totally natural (like how your thigh muscles/fat move in response to the impact of jumping) and not at all uncomfortable. I suppose you could also ... compare it to how much your breasts would move if you held them up with your hands and jumped-- they're not totally immobile and there is a little natural peripheral movement, but they're still supported and not bouncing all over the place.

I've had this bra for a long time, and I can't remember if the gore never fully tacked (it currently fits at bottom only) or if that is the result of my size changing over the years. Regardless, there's still no quad-boob on my larger side, even when I push the gore in, and it does its job. I'm totally held up and in, and unlike any other combination of bras I ever wore for exercise before finding a quality bra like this, it gives me two distinct boobs instead of a uniboob. I love it for that. The wires are the widest I have ever seen, and it does give my breasts a very wide shape, but for a sports bra I suppose you would expect them to be held a little closer to the chest than projected out (my preference for day to day appearance). I'll take two wide boobs over a uniboob any day.

I only wear this for exercise (dance class, zumba, cardio machines at gym) or around the house/on laundry day because I don't find the shape attractive and the center seam on the cup is visible through a lot of my shirts (unfortunately including a thin wicking exercise shirt- which now gets used for only in-home exercise).

I usually wear a 30 band in Freya, but there was no way the 30H in this bra was going to hook in the back.

At first the 32G was hard to hook, but on trying it a second time, it hooked more easily. It's comfortable enough, but I think it doesn't quite fit well enough to keep for the gym. I may have to try it again to take more notes.

The wires are fairly wide and so they don't sit quite right against my breast tissue. The wire as it comes up to the center gore is sitting on the edge of the breast tissue ... rather than encasing it. The wire doesn't press the tissue against my ribcage, but as it comes up, it isn't quite on my sternum until the very top of the wire.

Also, this bra is very much an encapsulation type sports bra, providing a good deal of lift and separation, pointing the girls up and out.

I think the wire shape of this bra isn't working for me. I don't think the next cup size up would do much good as the wire would likely be even wider.

That said, it does seem to provide pretty good bounce control, and if you fit well in Freya wires, you may well like this bra. Just remember, you may need to order a larger band size than your usual Freya size.

Much tighter in the back than an average freya, does stretch some though. Best sports bra ever. Very wide underwires for a freya bra.

It is the first sports bra that I've found that fits me properly and doesn't look super bulky, which I love. The only problem I have is that the cups are a bit wider than I want them to be and the straps don't adjust short enough. I have this issue with straps on every bra I've ever owned, but with this one I will definitely need to have them altered for the support of the sports bra to work.

Nice soft material, very attractive bra. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit me. Band is too tight and cups are too shallow. Gore is about a mile away from tacking. Might be worth trying in another size, but I'll prioritize Elomi Energise, as that bra was closer to fitting.

One interesting construction note: The front layer of the bra along the top/side of the bra (where the blue trim is on the front) is a stretchy mesh material and is cut slightly shorter than the back layer of the cup. When laid on its own, this front layer bra pulls the top/side forward, although it stretches flat when worn. I assume this is to aid with encapsulation and compression.

This was one of the 8 bras I tried in my first Amazon Prime Wardrobe Box! (Sadly, 8/8 did NOT fit)
I chose the red and gray sports bra; the color was really cute. But the wires are WIDE. The top of the cup gaped, too, which was weird? The fit was just sorta all over the place. The Panache sports bra I have has an open top because the cups are so tall, but it doesn't feel as weird and unsupportive as this one. The cups seem spread apart more than I like, too, though that's more than likely just because it's a sports bra and not a regular one.
Granted, I only tried this on briefly, so take that into consideration!
Overall, I could tell right away this wouldn't fit right.

    Fits

I'm a 30GG and tried my "sister size" of 32G. It's very well supportive in how the cups are designed, but the cups are very pointy and I had to sew in some to make the shape more natural. It smooshes in by boobs, which is fine, but without the underwire there's no separation nor does the center part sit on my sternum. I'd like this bra better if had the option of making it racer-back.
This bra's measurements have been altered
Sewed in cups to make them less pointy
