  1. I recently decided to try out Ewa Michalak bras. My local boutique only had one EM bra in my size (75J - Ewa Michalak » Bm Koronkowa ), so I decided to order more bras online from the Rack Shack, which had more bras in stock I ordered the SF Gladzioch in both black (75J - Ewa Michalak » Sf Czarny Gładzioch (866) ) and caramel. I was a little nervous that they might be too small, as I later saw on Reddit that the SF bras run a bit smaller in the cup than the BMs, but they ... ended up fitting reasonably well. The gore tacks perfectly, and even though the cups are cut lower than most of my other bras, I don't get any quadboob. I've wore the SF Gladzioch in caramel all day today, and it's super comfortable, even when lying down. It's the best fitting (lightly) padded bra I own by far. I think the fact that the upper portion of the cup is stretchy fabric makes the fit of this bra more forgiving than other bras I've tried in this size range. A slight downside is that the padding/foam in the lower cup is very flexible, so it doesn't provide as much nipple concealment as my other padded bras.
A note about sizing: when I ordered from the Rack Shack was a 32J (UK sizing), but both the bras that arrived were both labelled 75J inside, much like the bra I purchased from my local boutique (labelled 32M US/75 J). I haven't ordered from any other boutiques yet, but when I checked out Levana Bratique's website, it looks like they listed 75J as being equivalent to a 34M US. I'm not sure why conversion from Ewa Michalak's sizing is different between the boutiques.

  2. I picked this one up from Zathiya. This bra is very soft and silky. I love the colour and the silky stretchy top. In fact, I like it a lot better than the lace on the other SFs because of how soft it is. Ewa needs to release this on her site, it is too pretty to have a limited run. It is pretty much the same as the lace topped SFs, except that the gore is higher on this one than the lace ones I have in the same size, and the cups are slightly deeper. The gore is overlapped in the back, which is not visible when you put the bra on. Ewa needs to make this kind of bra in more skin shades.

    Didn't fit

I got this beautiful bra in an exchange a while back. It came with briefs in size M, which fit my 38-39.5" hips (36.5" higher up). I actually haven't worn this bra for much time, as I moved and gained weight right after getting it. I know my weight fluctuates though, so I'm saving it for when I lose a few pounds and my boobs shrink again.

The shape is nice and uplifted, and I really like this SF style. The cups are soft and unlined, but it's cut more like a balconnet. I like the button features instead of bows, and I like that everything is matching and ... blends in (straps, bows, bra).

I'm soft, short and narrow rooted, and this bra seems to work well for me. The cups are not too high, and when I'm a bit smaller, the coverage still allows for some nice upper boobage.

The straps adjust long enough for my tall frame, and there is still room to adjust them some more (not fully extended).

The quality is excellent, and it came in mint condition. I will love this set once it fits me again.

    Fits

SF Gladzioch Mleczna Czekolada (translates to Milky Chocolate) is a smooth no lace SF style bra in a medium golden brown. As with all the SFs, the upper section is stretchy allowing for variation in size. In this size (60L) the cup construction consists of 3 lower sections with two vertical seams, an upper horizontal stretch tulle section above the horizontal seam, and the Ewa signature outer wedge that connects the straps to the cups securely. The SF style is not padded, but the bottom of the cup is stiffened for more support.

I ordered this one (and two others) from MagdaBras4you whom I ... just adore.

    Now for the technicals:
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.5” and stretches to a max of 27”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.75”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.75”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

    Other details to be noted:
For those of you who are observant of photo details, yes, the wires are not the same size. One is 6.25, while the other is closer to 6.5”.

Another thing with this order is that all the straps are thin. Not thin as in narrow, but thin as depth, flimsy, lacking plushness, biting instead of padded or plush backed for comfort. To describe it in one word: cheap. Straps you’d get on the Walmart $9.99 bras, not what you’d expect on a $60+ bra.

As for fit, this one is the only good one in the order. The material is so smooth and comfortable; it felt like I was putting on a pillow if that makes any sense. The cups are wonderful, as is the band. The gore sits 1.5 fingers off my sternum but aside from that this bra is the most comfortable wired bra I have. The band is nice a firm and the 27” max stretch makes it perfect on the middle hooks for me! (Woohoo I don’t have to wear it on the tightest hook set yay!) As with the other two, this does have a bit of “off”ness to it. The black liner and the silky outer fabric are not the same tension, most notably where two seams meet throughout, so the outer material isn’t as smooth as the bra actually is, but this isn’t major and can’t be seen under clothing, it’s simply a minor quality control issue. This is not the first time I have received a SF style bra with this issue so I think it has to do with the stiffening process that they use on that under fabric.

Overall, I do love this bra. I love the fit, the comfort, and the color.

Looks great on you. I miss this one. :)

    • 1

Almost none of my EMs have the same tension between the liner and the lace/fabric over it. And its usually just one cup, not both... So most I've gotten have been duds smh... I thought that was normal.

    • I thought it was due to my asymmetry!

    • brasaremean I am referring to the stiffened liner and the outer smooth fabric on the same cup, not the fabric from one cup compared to the other cup.

When the lining is tight and smooth against the breast while the outer fabric wrinkles, it's due to the two fabrics being at different tensions or the seams not sewn together properly. Such bras usually end up at discount stores as they don't pass quality control.

My breasts are slightly asymmetrical but as my sheer black SM shows, they are close enough to create a smooth cup without wrinkle or quadding in either cup.

    • 1

Yup thats what I'm talking about as well. But it's never on both cups just one

    • brasaremean This has been a regular issue with Ewa bras for you? I think the QC issues are worse that we knew. That's sad. And nope, it's not due to asymmetry if you can feel that liner is snugly hugging your breast.

I have experienced it on a few bras (mmoreso on padded bras) and in various brands through the years, but most on those discount store bras. When paying $10-20 on the bra I don't mind it as long as it's not noticeable under clothing, but on a $60+ bra, I expect more.

Thank you Frazzleberry. Since I am pessimistic about Ewa at the moment, I won't be truly disappointed if they aren't. That means any "fits" will be a treat while the fails won't be devastating. 😄

This bra is nearly a perfect fit! I am fluctuating between a 28FF and 30F but decided to order a 30F and I'm glad I did. The only issue with this bra is that the bottom of the cup isn't completely filled out and I'm not sure if it's a shape thing, projection, or size issue, but the top looks perfect and I'm okay with this so I'll probably keep it for now. I bought this new from Ewa directly on April 3rd and it arrived on April 20th, after 4 days of shipping (arrived 2 days earlier than expected). I love the rounded shape the bra gives and the button details are beautiful.

Update: The projection on this SF bra was definitely wrong for me, I ended up selling it soon after the initial review.

    • Does the bottom of the cups seem to collapse and your boobs are fighting their way to the top? If so, it's a projection issue, if not it's a size/shape issue. Also, how nasty was EM's DHL only shipping?

    • marilynne that's exactly what's happening! I think I might sell/swap it soon, it's uncomfortable to wear because my boobs are pushing it down lol. IT WAS AWFUL thankfully it arrived really quick at least, but so expensive

    Fits

I ordered this from Zathiya - unfortunately because they're closing :'( - and oh my god I've found my miracle bra. This is possibly the first bra that has ever fit me perfectly. Based on the abtf calculator, I'm a 30 GG/H. I had heard Ewa bands run small, so I opted up to the 32/70 but stuck with the GG because I'm between sizes/center full, and it fits perfectly. You can tell I'm center full wearing the bra, but that's fine by me. It's my natural shape but lifted, supported, and smoothed out a little. It's not crazy padded, but there's a solid lining that should prevent nips from poking out.

  7. I have a nude bra now. Finally. After years of searching for one in my size range. It's not a great feeling that it had to take so long.

This bra is fine. Its fabric has a nice sheen. It has buttons and a cool fabric loop to take the place of bows, which I like as an approach. I've replaced bra bows with buttons myself before. However, the seams of the bra stick up a lot, and are apparent under a shirt, which defeats the purpose of a nude bra a little.

The 70 band is very stretchy. I am inbetween a 70 band and a 65 band lately, ... but this 70 is the most comfortable for me on the tightest hooks already, and I just bought it. Generally with Ewa Michalak I wear a 70 without having to do that. The cup is ample, with a stretchy mesh upper section that will be forgiving for those that are fuller on top, or experience changes in cup size (during periods, or if your boobs decide to just get slightly bigger randomly). This bra plunges some on me, which is not something I would have expected from the stock photos of this bra. I have worn something low-cut with it already without the top of the bra showing up at all, which is a major plus in my size range.

The fit under clothes does not hide the projection that the bra provides. Boobs stick out a lot in this one. Additionally, I noticed a lot of boob jiggle in this bra, even though the band is supportive and my boobs are always fully contained by the cup. Maybe not the best choice for those who really hate that.
