  1. Sf Iris (1408)

My stats for reference: 28GG/H, Possibly 26HH, still trying to figure out my ideal size, so here are my measurements: bratabase loose/snug UB: 28.5"/26", leaning bust: 39". FOT & Center, Tall & Narrow Roots, average to high set.

    Look:

This bra is so pretty! I don't know why, but It reminds me of butterflies. It has lace on the upper cups, the straps and the lower cradle of the bra. It has 3 bows, 2 on the straps and one on the gore. This bra is so feminine and delicate looking that it almost makes ME uncomfortable. I bought matching high briefs from levana, I was so worried that they'd ... look like granny panties, but they don't! They make my hips and butt look absolutely amazing!

    Fit:
While this bra looks delicate, it's anything but. This thing is so supportive and firm. It's the bodybuilder of unlined bras, your boobs do not bounce on stairs or on a bumpy road, nothing. I wouldn't try to use it as a sports bra, but it's exceedingly good as an everyday bra. It has a very stiff lower cup and a very stretchy upper cup, so I think it works great for FOT shapes. The wires are a little wide for me and very firm. I get a really hard tack that's almost painful if I wear it while lounging on the couch all day.

The bra is so pretty on you and (albeit a little stiff) I'm glad it fits :) All the EM's I've tried have 2 x 3 hooks so I'm super jealous of your 3 x 4 set!

    • sincerity Thank you! I was so excited for the 3 hook closure! It makes everything a bit more supportive. What do you mean by it looking a bit stiff?

    • 1

Ah, I misread! I'm glad it's supportive and firm :)

    • 1

I just love this bra so much. I have it too but can’t deal with the wires under my arm :(

I’m glad it fits you! It’s such a gorgeous bra!

    • 1

damaries Thank you! I think I just lucked out with this bra. I bought a 60H BM apricot that should've fit exactly like this but it didn't :(

    • 1

      I saw that :(
It’s such a bummer when they don’t fit! I’m going to message you about that apricot BM 😬😬

Thanks to Calluna for this bra! I love the BM style it's so comfortable. I wear either a 65FF or 65G in this style depending on measurements. In certain lighting this bra has almost a brown color to it and in other lighting there's more purple/red to it. It's simple in design but also has a few ribbon and button embellishments. I didn't have to break it in at all like a new bra so it has been so wonderfully comfortable from the first wear. Technically the SF style works better for my soft tissue and keeps everything where it's supposed to be all day, ... but I love the comfort of the BM so much. The stretch lace accommodates very well and holds a nice shape. If the cup wasn't so stretchy and projected I would have quad boob problems or need a size up. But the 65G is a little taller in the cup, wing, and gore, and slightly less comfortable so I'm sticking with 65FF in this style while I still can. The gore is the highest I can handle due to symmastia so there is no discomfort there. Now that it is getting cold I will spend my outdoor time in padded bras due to circulation issues but I reach for my BMs on all my indoor/comfort days. Since I mostly work at home that is a lot of days currently, so I'm happy to have this. Overall this is a fantastic fit for me!

    Fits

I overlooked this bra so many times because I thought it was way too gaudy/over the top…but when it came to making a decision between 3 different bras (2 that were basic black lace over solid colors or this), I decided to give it a try. “What could go wrong? If I hate it I can return it.”

This beaut is one of Ewa Michalak’s SF cut/style bras, made with thicker, unpadded fabric that is touted to be more supportive. In the past, I had tried another SF bra (the Sharon/Szaron) and it was so unflattering because of the fabric being stiffer…it was so baggy, but it was also ... the wrong size for me at the time. The Moulin Rouge is made with velvet, mesh, and ribbon. I know what you may be thinking…how does velvet work as an everyday bra under clothing? I don’t have an answer to that question quite yet, but I’m leaning towards this obviously not being an everyday bra, but one of those “fun” bras.

My breast shape is complicated…I’m pendulous, FOB/even (the more bras I try the more I discover I don’t fill the tops out as much), center full, narrow/average root width, short/average root height. I’m somewhere between being very soft and malleable and slightly firm. This bra gives me a great shape, a slight lift, and is super comfortable.

The velvet is like literally putting your boobs in a pillow. The ribbon embellishments on the front are not noticeable or uncomfortable, but they obviously show through thinner clothing. This bra may be okay as everyday wear in thicker tops, like sweaters, but I don’t think I would wear this one out-and-about or to work during the summertime.

I reeeeally like how the straps on the back look with the ribbon! It looks like the Eiffel Tower, and I’m not sure if that was intentional or not, but if it was then that’s awesome!

The gore slightly floats on me, but because I don’t want to wait for an 80JJ to come in stock at Levana, I’m going to deal with it. I’m on a weigh loss journey right now anyway, so I think eventually it will fit even better. The wires are perfect, not too wide, not too narrow, and very comfortable. The straps adjust great! The band is very comfortable. It’s snug but not too snug. The removable decorative straps are cute and attach so easily!

I’m glad I gave this bra a chance. It’s such a gorgeous little number and it was a lot more flattering on me than I expected. I’m even debating getting the matching panties to go with it!

It's so gorgeous! I love the straps in the back and never noticed the detail when looking at this online. I am definitely adding this one to my wish list.

    • 3

I love the design on this one, but I'm never going to get it because velvet just skeeves me out as a material--I hate touching it, lol! Also, I didn't realize the back of the straps had that detailing, gorgeous! Glad this SF fits you better than the last one you tried. I'm a big fan of the SF myself.

      looks amazing on you!!

    • 3

      Thank you all!

bustyand EM also has the SF Azuryt that’s the same general look but it’s in blue and the fabric is knit and not velvet.

    • It's such a pretty bra!

    Didn't fit

This was my first feel for Ewa Michalak’s “S” style. It’s a padded, projected, open-on-top balconette-style bra, and according to an online guide that I’ve read about EM cuts (paraphrased): “suited for medium to full busts.”

The bra is just like the BM Antonina except for the padding, of course. It’s a beige bra with a ivory/white lace overlay, a mesh gore for kind of a “peekaboo” look, and a little jewel.

Comfort-wise, it’s extremely comfortable and soft! The straps adjust just fine for me, but they are a little wide (which I believe is typical of balconettes). There are removable cookies in the cups for that extra UMPH. ...

The quality is excellent, but that’s to be expected of most EM bras.

Unfortunately, not a good fit for me.
I would describe my breasts as being pendulous, semi-soft, even vertical fullness, center full, narrow/average width, possibly borderline omega shaped. Padded styles are not recommended for my breast type, but I gave this a shot anyway. It really is a beautiful bra, and I love how it gave me that “Marie Antoinette” look, but the cups were not deep enough and the projection is closer to the apex and not the bottom, which is more of that I need. The gore floated for me, and I had some quadding if I pushed the gore down. Honestly, this bra is not suited very well for center fullness. If I could narrow my size down in a PL style, I’d probably find a better fit.

Sad that it didn’t work out, but you can’t force the fit!

    65G

    Didn't fit

My shape is projected, full on top and centre, with tall and narrow roots, soft and self-supporting tissue, and super close-set. My usual UK size is 28FF/G depending on how open on top the bra is.

I got this bra in 65G because I have a BM Lulu Bra in the same size that has wrinkles only on my smaller boob. For some reason I always have to size up a cup in Ewa Michalak. Apart from the wrinkles (which I hope disappears when I wear it near my period), this bra fits me perfectly - the band is snug like a 28, the cups are narrow and deep, ... a bit too open on top/ centre for me, and not as tall as my BM. Hence I don't really understand why I'm having more wrinkles in this bra than in BM. The gore is also low and slightly overlapped which makes it so comfortable.

I used pasties in the fit pictures because I don't want my nipples on the internet, as the mesh is see-through (so nipples might be visible under thinner tops). It's a very elegant and sexy bra.

    Another swing and a miss!

The 80HH Plunge style was too small, and the 80JJ seems to be too big. Could this be a Goldilocks moment, or am I just not suited for the padded styles? (Spoiler alert: it’s probably the latter!)

I’m not a fan of beige. It’s so boring and not flattering, IMO. (No judgment of anyone who wears and likes beige bras, they’re just not my favorite!) the fabric is smooth and a little stretchy, like satin or nylon. The inside of the cups are a little itchy to me, but not unbearable.

Now to the fit problems...honestly the only good part of this fitting experience was ... that the band was comfortable. The cups are either too big or a shape mismatch, as shown by the massive gaping, the wrinkling, the buckling, and the lovely floating gore. The straps are stretchy and adjust okay. I may have been able to tighten then just a bit more, but they’d probably be too tight at that point. I did not wear this enough to get a great gauge of the strap distance, but it didn’t seem like it would have been a problem.

I wish Ewa Michalak bras worked out for me; they’re so pretty! I’m super sad that I probably can’t wear the super sexy padded versions, but I’ll give an 80J a try next and that will confirm for me if it’s just not for me.

    Womp womp.

Bummer. I generally have a hard time with padded bras as well, and the Ewa SF isn’t quite right, but the Ewa BM cut is my jam. I have been hesitant to try any padded Ewas because I suspect I’d have similar fit issues to what you’re experiencing.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review!

    • 1

Yeah I’m still trying to figure out my size in both BM and PL and it’s not working out so well. I don’t think my shape suits the padded styles for sure. I’m perplexed with the BMs because I tried an 80J that seemed to big, but the 80HH was significantly small. They were different lines so I don’t know if that had something to do with it. I’ve always read that Ewa Michalak bras are supposed to be more consistent because they’re handmade, but I’m finding the opposite.

This bra was one I had seen on EM’s Instagram and fell in love with the color! It’s a beautiful light blue. The color makes me think of blue hydrangea. Since this was not available in store, I contacted them and here it is. I also opted for a lovely pair of matching briefs. This shade of blue is so pretty, it would definitely count as “something blue” on your wedding day.

The cups are the same lace you’ll find on many of the BM bras. The cups are the three part cup with a matching color non-stretch netting on the lower cup and stretch netting under the ... upper cup lace.
The center gore has a touch of lace over a solid rocker, with a lovely matching blue bow on the center. The back-band is stretch fabric and lined with matching blue stretch netting. The back clasp is a 2x4. The straps have a lovely sheen to them with scalloped edges. There are matching bows where the cup meets the strap. The hardware is white. Over all I think this runs on the slightly small/snug side.

    Briefs in size 38:
I purchased the matching panties in my usual side. The front has a delicate front panel with lace accent on the front hip area. There are two small matching blue bows where the lace meets the front panel at the leg opening. The back is a sheer one layer of matching sheer blue stretch fabric. There is a cute little matching bow at the top back waistband. All elastic is the same color blue. There is a white cotton gusset in the crotch.

I looove this colour! It looks great on you.
So you ordered from EM directly but they didn’t have it on their website?

    • 3

margesimpson Correct. They don’t have it on their website, at least not yet. I’m not sure if this will be an actual release. But I saw it on Instagram and I really wanted it. I emailed customer service and asked if it would be available any time soon. Since I order so much from them, she said they’d be more than happy to make one for me. So I then added the matching panties.

    • 1

Interesting! That’s great that you could order one. I mean, you’re probably one of their best customers haha

    • 4

margesimpson lol shhhhh don’t let my husband hear you say that. Hahah.
I totally revamped my bra/undie wardrobe. I’m still waiting for a few more to come. Then I think I have shift gears and start picking up some matching sets for my teen for Christmas, now that we know her Comexim size, 28DD.

  8. Bm Róż

What? Another BM? Oh no she didn’t!
Pffftttt but of course I did lol. And boy is she like, BAM! Hot Pink!!

Róż fits like my other all lace BM’s, other than Kleks (glares in dark navy blue ō_Ō )

The outside fabric is bright hot pink. The lace is the exact same lace used for the BM Amazing. But due to this bra being completely lined in a beige toned micro stretch netting, it gives off a more true to color, vs Amazing which tone is slightly changed due to being backed in white.
The lace covers the entire bra with matching hot pink elastic. The elastic has ... a sheen to the center of it and scalloped edges. There are hot pink bows where the elastic meets the cup as well as the center gore. The back clasp is hot pink with a 2x4 closure. The hardware is beige in color, matching the interior lining.

High waisted briefs in size 38. The briefs have matching hot pink lace all around the sides and back, and is not lined. The center panel in the front has a slightly different pink tone to it, but it adds lots of depth to it. There is lace detail on the top of the front panel. There are two cute hot pink bows on the front of the leg hols where the lace meets the center panel. There is a hot pink bow on the top back. These are definitely a cut that gives you a wedgie fit. I think of it as a hybrid fit between a brief and a thong.

    • 2

MeeM_13 I just might have to try that. Of course me and cool are usually never used in the same sentence haha. But these days fashion rules seem to be a free for all and what ever goes.

Happy2BraShop there's something very empowering about wearing something sheer, especially when there's a pop of colour under. There are no defining rules for fashion or being cool!

I love this bra. It’s the best fit I think I’ve ever accomplished in an Ewa Michalak bra, which is saying something! This bra is straight from Poland and the Ewa Michalak website. It surprisingly didn’t take very long to be manufactured and delivered. Maybe 2-3 weeks, tops.

The bra itself is made of mesh and is very sheer. I like it sheer, I had a Fantasie bra when I was a smaller size (Sienna Vertical Seam) that I loved because of the sheerness. It made it totally sexy. This bra is pretty sexy too and would be a fun little secret to wear out and about for ... sure!

It’s very comfortable. The gore tacks well, pretty firm. The band is snug but comfortable. The wires are probably pretty close to perfect on the sides, although the inside sides of the wire (the gore, etc) are probably a little too close together there. I do have some empty space between the wire at the chest and my boobs, which you can’t see in the pictures as well but can see in person. This is how EM bras fit me, and I don’t see that changing. The gore is almost too narrow on all EM bras for me!

The straps are pretty nice as well, they’re skinnier straps than what I’m used to but they’re functional. The adjust to decent lengths for me and my short torso.

The cups are 4 part, I think, with 2 vertical seams to give lift. The top of the cups are adorned with flowers, I think they may be considered embroidery, but I'm not 100% sure.

Overall, I love this bra, I love the look and I love the comfort, the only qualm I have is that it may actually be a size too big? I’m trying to lose weight right now and I’ve started going to the gym, so im worried that sooner rather than later this bra will be way too large in the cups. The top of the cups loosely sit flush, and you can see some wrinkling by where the straps meet the cups. There’s about a finger’s worth of space between the wire and my IMF at the bottom of the cup. The cup is also very deep (15.3 inches!!!)

I’ve been anxiously awaiting this bra for what feels like a decade lol. I ordered it through Tina at Aphrodite’s Closet. She ordered it for me as soon as she was able to and then we had to wait for her order to come in. BM Melon is so gorgeous! I love the melon color. Just like cantaloupe. With pink bows as detail. I was certain this bra would fit me but then I went and lost ten pounds. Now the cups are slightly too big. The band is also a very tight band, it measures in line with a 60 not 65. I can barely stretch it to 27 without affecting wires. So even if the cups did fit, the band still would not. I can fasten it but it’s tight. I can wear an extender but I don’t want to. I am probably going to list it for exchange to see if anyone has a BM 65 more in line with my measurements. What a huge bummer for me. I wanted this bra so so bad!

How strange! I just returned melon coz the band was quite loose… definitely looser than my other bras. I had it in 70F!

    • 2

martka00 I’m sorry that you had to return your melon too! It really is frustrating that the bands vary so much. I’ve had 65’s that fit, that are way too big, and some so small. I wish they were consistent.

    • 1

Thanks damaries . Luckily I wasn’t a fan of melon so didn’t care much.
For me it’s the last order that was off. My previous one from end of last year is totally fine. Tbh most of my orders are usually fine.
Within this one I had also BM heaven that was more like 75F instead of 70F - also BM Blush felt little looser but luckily I have also ordered it in 65FF so I kept the smaller band.
Now I am awaiting new BM Heaven hopefully this time it will fit well

    • 1

It's so pretty. The measurements seem close to the 28FF bras I own. But at the same time I have a BM Lulu in 65G which is slightly too big. So confusing!

I’m definitely one to have a good solid black workhorse bra in my collection. I originally picked this bra up second hand in a 70G, and loved it, but needed a better fit. I can tell this is a second generation. The lace on the cups isn’t as thick as my 70G, but I’m not mad at it. I actually like it. I also feel this falls in line with the fit more like BM Kleks and Malachit.

The outer lace is definitely more open stitched and airy. The lower cup consists of a non stretch black mesh inside. The upper cup of course is black stretch lace ... over black stretch mesh. The center gore has a single layer of black mesh with a lovely satin V ribbon detail. The lace continues along the bottom rocker and halfway onto the side of the back-band. There is a cute little black bow with a diamond charm. Thew elastic straps are a little more on the firm stretch side, with cute little black bows where the straps meet the cup. All hardware is black. The back portion of the back-band is a single layer of black satin stretch fabric. There is a 2x4 clasp.

This is so cute! I definitely wouldn't call it a workhorse bea based on how pretty it is!

So far so good! I like it! I got it with an extender and I am glad I did because it really runs on the tight side of 55-

I was worried it might be too big but it fits my bigger side just right/slight spillage and my smaller side has some gaping, (both w/o cookies). Still prefer it without cookies- its just much more comfy this way+ I feel like w/o cookies the immediate projection is better (which this one has quite a bit of!)
I dont experience a lot of lift with this style for some reason. It gives a natural/slightly rounded shape.
I love love love ... the design and the colour is just so vibrant. The straps are fully adjustable (yay!), I will just forever nag on how wide placed they are. The wires are also too wide for me by like an inch but I never found wires that fit so I think these can still be considered narrow.
I was worried to fall out of the center bc the gore is so low but that hasnt happened yet. I think a Fot and center full shape might have this issue.

    Didn't fit

This is my 3rd try at Ewa Michalak bras, and I’m intrigued so I’ll give it another go, but I’m not sold on the fit.

This is a BM style bra, which is unlined. The material is somewhat firm in the cups, so there isn’t a ton of stretch, even though the bra gives the illusion that there is since it looks like lace on skin. I really like the look of this bra, and I’m sure if you looked my on profile you’d see that I gravitate towards darker colors like black because I just prefer the look of black bras, especially lace!

I’m in kind of an ... existential crisis right now in terms of my size and fit (it really has put me in quite a tailspin), but according to my most recent measurements from ABTF, I’m coming up 36H/HH. My shape is projected, pendulous, even fullness and root height, narrow to average root width, splayed...I think I got everything.

The 80J doesn’t seem like it’s the right size for me for a couple of reasons. There’s space next to the gore in the middle, which might mean the gore is too narrow, but I’m also wondering if maybe a smaller cup might help? Also, the bra gives me a torpedo shape, which tells me that it’s probably a size too big in the cups as well. I would rather have a rounded shape than a pointed shape at this point. The band is pretty firm and snug, it measures at 35” which is what my snug band measurement is, so I think going up a band would help with my issues of bands being too tight and cutting my skin.

Overall, this is a great bra, it just doesn’t seem right for me in this size. My consensus is that I’ll give this one another try in a 85H and see if it’s any better.

Thanks for the continuous stream of informative reviews! Hardly anyone in this size range reviews, so you're awesome for contributing like ghis!. The bra looks stunning on you, I'd definitely attempt one cup down to try to lose the torpedo shape.

    • 4

Thanks marilynne! Honestly since understanding how important the measurements are on here, I’ve been trying really hard to contribute as much data as I can because you’re right — my size range doesn’t have a ton of info on here! I wish I had realized how helpful it was sooner because I have a few bras I tried when I first started my bra fitting journey that I didn’t measure and now I wish I had.

I hate when I’m looking for a bra in a certain size and there aren’t measurements on here for it! 😣

Thank you for reviewing this! I am really struggling in finding bras in my shape and size. May I ask where you order your Ewa bras from? I’m in the US and am worried about ordering something I can’t return.

    • 3

Becauseihaveto42 I ordered this from Levana Bratique! They’re in PA, and the gal who owns the store is very friendly. Easy returns, too!

This is going to be a pretty short review, but here goes.

Ok, I received this bra on February 12. It's taken me 2 months, but I'm finally getting around to reviewing it.

My stats for reference: 28GG/H, maybe 26HH, FOT & Center, tall and narrow roots, 5'3, average to high set.

    Look:
This bra looks like your basic beige bra from afar, but it isn't! It has an adorable lace trim at the top of the cups and BUTTONS! Adorable teeny tiny useless buttons that look so freaking cute! It also has a dotted, almost quilted looking main fabric.

    Fit:
Talk about cakes on a plate! I thought Ewa's ... HM cut was antoinettealicious, but the CH really takes the cake! (Pun intended). The cups are so ridiculously low cut that my nipples are almost visible. Somehow it actually gives me a projected profile instead of the weird smushed shape akin to that of a comexim 3HC that I was expecting. The straps are wide set and thin, the cups have cookie pockets and the cups seem to run almost big seeing as I should be wearing 1-2 cups bigger in EM bras.
Overall, this bra is perfect for a low square neckline dress but a bit impractical for everyday as it offers little to no actual lift and support.
P.S. fit pics are severely outdated, I switched BC and lost about .5 band and gained 1-2 cups.

    • Hey, I have a question, are the straps comfortable for you, in the sense that they look to the max on the sides, or maybe it's just the photos?

    • I tried a ch once, but it gave me major headlights....I couldn't even wear it.

    • @sylwia111000 I don't understand what you mean by "they look to the max on the sides"? The straps are in my armpits, but it's not uncomfortable since I'm si used to angling them in anyway.

    • 1

Wilderness1 I haven't quite given up. I think that a CH in my actual size may work for me.

    • I meant the shoulder straps are very far apart, close to the armpit. because I often have this effect in bras of this type and these straps are uncomfortable and slide off the shoulders ... it's a pity that they cannot sew them closer to each other

It is hard for me to find sexy bras and I do feel that way with this bra. I have had it for a while and it is still holding up decently well. Some of the material in the middle of the bra from where it goes form a lace black to a solid black is starting to tear on both sides but nothing that some black thread and needle cant fix.

    Didn't fit

YES it arrived today: My very first Ewa bra!!

This bra made quite a journey to get to me: it was shipped from Poland to be stocked at Zathiya in the U.S., then I ordered it to be sent back overseas to the Netherlands.. Add stupid custom fees and you get the picture; I paid too much for this bra $:

Let's forget about that, because I'm so in love with the print & total look of this bra (: Colors, flowers, neon lace.. It's like a fairy floral funfair explosion! Very 'kitsch', which I adore.

The fit is pretty good, considering I didn't know my EM size. If ... available I would have gone for 70GG - but that was completely sold out. Luckily some nice Bratabaser had added the measurements for this 70H, they seemed within my margins so I went for it.. And it turned out pretty well, it looks and feels good I think!

Perhaps the cups are sliiightly too deep; my smaller breast has some gapping on top. Nothing major, but I personally prefer slightly small over slightly large bras (and I think EM bras are generally meant to be more of a 'compressed' fit in the cup?)

Cup width seems good, confirms my idea of needing narrower wires than Panache / Curvy Kate etc. (even if wider wires are not actually uncomfortable for me, so I'm not replacing my entire bra collection (; )
Funnily the gore is fine: I don't like high gores and the S style was said to have a raised gore, so I worried about that. But it's no problem at all!

Biggest issue is the straps being too wide set: no surprise because I had heard this could be an issue on EM bras. We'll see how it goes with daily wear, maybe I'll change the strap position. All in all size-wise, the 70GG would have been perfect I think. But this 70H is totally wearable and I'm very happy to have it!

Some minor nit-picking issues: I'm kind of a sucker for symmetry and this floral print is pretty different on the right versus left cup. Ewa does mention this when using printed fabric and it's completely understandable. Still I would have loved a bit more 'balance'. Next about the bright pink lace: that's not a perfect match to the fabric (as other reviewers have mentioned) but I think it's still fun looking. However, the lace is stitched over the outer edge of the white inner cup. So this white 'cup lining' is visible through the lace, which seems vaguely sloppy to me?

Lastly, I ordered both briefs and thong and they're very comfy + stretchy. My hips + bum need a large (UK 14 / EU 42-L) in briefs, and I usually tend to size up in thongs (e.g. in Curvy Kates I mostly get size 16). This thong was M / 40 - last size and I really wanted it - but BTB member Tanzi reassured me that they ran large. Aisha at the webshop confirmed this and it really fits! Size is in fact similar to the briefs which I got in a larger size, 42.

So in short: Love the set, both bra and briefs/thong are great. Symmetry of the print could be better and I have some very minor fit issues. I'll probably order my next Ewa S style (yes Kicia, I mean YOU!) in a 70GG. But all in all, my first EM is a success!

    • Gorgeous!

    • I often don't like super bright florals but this looks adorable! The fit, visually at least, is spectacular, so I'd say you should have no regrets on sizing. I saw a review of this somewhere a few days ago (not here, but I can't find it by googling) that was kind of a tight fit in the cups, and the lift and shape were not as good as what you're getting here with a tiny bit more room.

    • Thanks dbmamaz and wendybien !

Yeah the gapping is less visible in the pictures. I think changing the strap placement will also help a lot with that.

Feel really glad / lucky I found it and that it looks and fits well :)

    • This looks absolutely amazing on you. And those colors are so awesome.

    • Thanks :3 and yeah such a shame it's discontinued! Kwiaty should be a continuity style at Ewa's if you ask me ;)

    Didn't fit

So I've had this bra for about 2 years already - and even though it is marked as 'didn't fit' because of some minor issues, this BM La Gloria actually works well on me. I wear it quite often!

    Look:
Firstly, I .really. love this color. It's a foresty-green that leans towards dark teal - I think it's just Glorious (see what I did there? (; )
I like how the green color is matched with a green sewn-in ribbon running over the straps. The bra cups are constructed from floral stretch lace fabric, with a black stretchy mesh underlayer, creating some 'depth' and giving the lace a darker green ... hue than it actually is. Two years of wear < say, bi-weekly? I have a pretty large rotation > and bi-or tri-monthly-ish (?) handwashing sessions did cause some color leaking, so sadly it's currently a little less vibrant than when I first got it. As the lace fabric loses it's color more easily than the strap-ribbon and bra band material, there's some color discrepancy now. Also there's some minor snags/pulls on the lace, which makes sense as it's a delicate fabric.

    Fit:
To me this feels very much like a 'standard' size 32G/70G, if that makes sense? No extremes or outlier-measurements across the board (depth, height, wings, band, gore, straps etc,). The band is snug but not tight on my 78cm. ribcage, and it has held up well over 2 yrs of wear. The cups are reasonably projected and narrow, the shape it gives is up and forward, but also somewhat 'held close to the body', almost minimizing? To illustrate; I often reach for La Gloria when wearing a dress that is snug in the bust area, this bra always feels like it -holds me in- a little.

Construction-wise, I specifically love how relatively low the gore is!
Wasn't sure what to expect of the gore height on a BM, but this is exactly where I prefer my gores to hit my sternum.
Also, unlike some other Ewa bras, the strap placement still feels wide-ish but not too bad! I can wear it a full day without major discomfort, and even though the straps are somewhat 'rough'/ firm, it doesn't chafe to the point where I have to move the straps inwards (like I really could not avoid doing in my S style). May have helped that I sized down to 70G from my usual 70GG >> more on that below.

Due to the stretch, the fit is quite forgiving and on most days, this bra fits me well. When I'm feeling a little 'fuller' there's definitely some bulging; but the stretch lace prevents any real quad or cutting in.

All in all a bra with great construction and support, up to Ewa M.'s technical standards for sure, holds up reasonably well over time - with a gorgeous color and a flexible fit.

    Bra-ppendix haha -

    General Ewa M. sizing analysis:
Ewa advises to size down in the BM, when in doubt / between sizes, like in the SF. This seems correct-ish I think, depending on your shape and preferences?
In most of Ewa's styles I do need a 70GG (70GG - Ewa Michalak » Smn W Sieci (1326) 70GG - Ewa Michalak » Sm Ja Wiem... (755) 70GG - Ewa Michalak » Pl Kicia Szałowa and 70H - Ewa Michalak » S Turkusowe Kwiaty (703) . For the BM and SF style, it seems like I could do either - and technically seem to be in between a 70G and GG. As wide-set straps are the bane of my existence, I generally prefer sizing down rather than up? The stretchiness of this BM definitely helps with fit forgiveness / size fluctuations and I prefer this fit over the 70GG - Ewa Michalak » Sf Zenith (1410) that I bought at the same time.

Keep in mind though that if you're evenly full / somewhat FOT like me and prefer a bit more coverage and support, just keeping your normal Ewa M. size for the BM bra style may be worth considering. Especially when strap placement doesn't bother you as much.

    Didn't fit

I previously reviewed this bra in detail in a 65G, http://bra.pe/X272/ , and would have loved to have found this in a 65GG to compare as well as to wear during my time of the month when my other bras fit too small. The band is definitely tight for me now, but I think I can get away with wearing with an extender to get a fit more like a 65GG. I have to say I do love the proportions of the cup in this size 60H as opposed to the 65GG. With the 65GG the apex of the bra feels higher and pointier. With the 60H I feel the cup has a much rounder shape with an apex that better suits my breast shape. While I don’t consider this a bra win, it is definitely not a bra loss! There isn’t a whole lot of data for BM’s in a 60H, so I hope this review helps someone out there.

I have wanted this one for a long time, especially after rachaelll posted it here. Ironically, this is the same bra.

The sheer black mesh is gorgeous and pretty sexy AF. I’m not sure what the details are on the cup edge...something floral? It’s smoother than it seems under snug clothes but not invisible either. Despite all of the measurements being right, the band feels tight even though I have enough room for two fingers under the band. It’s weird. The website does mention that it’s a tight band.

I’m unsure about the bra because it’s tight, but I love the sheer mesh and details as well the lightweight, breathable feel, but I’m also getting a great shape. I might see if it will relax more with a bit of wear, but perhaps not all day at work wear yet. It definitely looks good. It’s just not too comfortable for me right now.

    • If you end up selling, please please please let me know!

    • I could probably be convinced to part with it if you want it. I’m going to work in a bit but message me.

    • I have this bra too, provides a good shape and it’s a good fit but after I wear it a few hours it feels tighter and tighter. In my case I think it’s just not quite projected enough at the wire and gore and slips just that much to make it not as comfortable. Plus the wires really are firm. Still i keep it and wear it, just not for 12+ hours

    • It looks lovely on you! Give it some time. My first SM, in the color black, was very snug in the band, but it did loosen up.

    • I think it’s maybe the wires. I agree that the wires are really firm on it. I do have a fantastic shape, and I love the look. I think a 70F would fit better.

    • Gorgeous!

    • This looks amazing on you! Beautiful shape!

  20. Sf Garden

When I saw this on the EM website I fell in love with the color and pattern. And I don’t even like floral patterns. I was torn between a 65G and a 65GG. Since I believe I’m in between sizes, I sized down to the 65G as suggested for the Sf. The band is very firm and so are the lower portion of the cups. The fabric has some very slight rippling due to the stiffness is the fabric. It doesn’t quite conform to the body like a more playable fabric, yet doesn’t isn’t as stiff as a S cut to where the padding prevents such rippling. Since ... it’s evident on many Sf bras, I’ll say it’s normal. The straps are a beautiful shade of purple, being a little more intense shade than the purple on the upper cup. It has a intense purple bow on both the center gore and where the strap meets to cup. The upper cups are a stretchy forgiving muted purple mesh. I’m currently a little heavier than usual, due to quarantine snacks and lack of being active added to that time of the month. But it is still comfortable and functional. The only thing I wish this style had was a 3x3 fastener on the back.

I purchased the matching panties in size 38. The front of the panties has the same floral print fabric with two purple panels up the front. There is a cute purple bow in the center at the top. The front of the panty has purple scalloped elastic along the leg line, but just till it meets the side seams. The same purple scalloped elastic runs around the whole top. The back of the panty is just the floral fabric with a seam up the back. The lower edge finished with a fine purple thread rolled edge. There is a white cotton gusset in the middle of the crotch.
