    Didn't fit

    I so wanted this bra to fit. I'm an avid gardener and long to have a lightweight bra for summer. Although I love the space at the wire, my short roots have been swallowed by the height of the half cup. Sigh. The fabric is supportive, comfortable, and beautiful (of course this gardener approves https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> ). This bra can accommodate taller roots and those full on top, although there may be less coverage than my very short roots receive. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />

    As is typical of 99% of wired bras I've tested, the wire spacing at the gore base ... is too wide. And, my very center-full breasts are tethered at the center and smooshed to the sides. I loathe the pain this causes. And, within a few hours, my lymph nodes are swollen for a few days. This size looks too big, but it's actually a poor design for my very center-full breasts.

    Used to fit

    Wow! I LOVE this bra and Ewa Michalak! I got this 30DD bra from another Bratabase user. The band stretches to 30" but I found it a bit deeper than a normal 30:5 at 9" deep. It seems like there may be some variance in cup depth, maybe just my experience? (I am going to sew in the band for longer use as it is on the tightest hook now but the cups fit wonderfully for me a 26ff/g...or 28f/ff in EM sizes.)

    I have reduced upper fullness with roots that are tall and shallow. I was prepared to gather in ... the top lace a bit but I don't feel I need to. Ewa does some amazing things with my bottom full boobs by giving them a nice shape up top without padding! The shape in this bra is rounded and lifted! Ewa are the only bras that make the tops of my breasts almost look rounded and full up top! I don't know how they do this miracle! So pleased!

    I have close set breasts but the gore is still comfortable. I also like how the bra doesn't feel too heavy on my ribcage and shoulders like my other balconettes from La Senza.

    My only complaint is the lace feels itchy to me. I do have dry skin so I will have to remember to moisturize before I wear this and maybe the lace will soften up over time.

    I love the stretchy bra band and thick fully adjustable straps. I totally recommend this bra!

    Used to fit

    This bra really surprised me! It looks so delicate in your hands, but it's really a powerhouse on! It gives an incredibly round shape and wonderful cleavage, but feels incredibly light because it's just unlined lace. It has one vertical seam in my size. The band is a little bit looser than I'm used to for Ewa; runs more like a true or slightly stretchy 32, but since it has 4 sets of hooks I'll be okay.

    Didn't fit

    This is a cute bra, but it is too small for me. The band is a bit tighter than I prefer, which I can usually tolerate, but the cups fit really strangely. They are very short, which I thought would be great for my short roots, but it's so open that my breast tissue just slowly creeps out the top, leading to quadding and just a bad fit. Even if it fit, it's too open on top for my preference which makes my breasts feel too "jiggly."

    Didn't fit

    I love this bra but it's just too big for me. I get a fantastic round shape from it, but there's a lot of gaping in the top since I don't have much upper fullness. I'd love to try it in a 70E or 65F, though I suspect I may have immediate projection issues in those sizes.

    My shape: Projected, narrow, shorter roots, even/functionally full on bottom, soft tissue. Cleo Lily fits me best.

    This fits closer to a 30G UK, or possibly between a 30FF and 30G, and the cups are just barely tall/large enough for me. If the cups were a little taller it would be perfect.

    The straps seem a little longer than my 65G - Ewa Michalak » Hm Sekret Wiktorii (618) , which is nice, as those are barely long enough.

    Almost all center gores, even those of “plunge” bras, are too high and/or wide. Why would I order a half cup bra from Ewa Michalak? Well, who doesn't want a sheer, sexy, black lace something that gives cakes on a plate roundedness? I thought I would remove the wires and have a comfy wireless bra. I did this recently to a sheer Passionata half cup bra I bought for about $12. However, yesterday I tried it on under a sweater and discovered the center gore area tilts forward enough, since the wires aren't there to press it against my chest, to show through a clingy sweater.     I've been wanting a sexy, sheer, black lace bra for a while. Most of my bras are Ewa Michalak 3D or PL models, which are lightly lined. I have a couple other bras from Wellfitting (Comexim), Empreinte, and Agent Provocateur. Agent Provocateur is the only one whose center gores are usually low enough for me. However, my new Wellfitting Extra Deep Plunge in Jade has soft wires and the wire channels go up a bit higher under the arms than most bras' wire channels do. I'm able to push the wires out of the gore area and achieve sternum comfort.

    The sadness I have with all my Ewa Michalak bras, even the 3Ds and PLs I own so many of, is their plunge gores are still too high and wide. Their wings are low under the arms, so I can't push the wires out of the center gore area very much. Ewa wires are also quite firm, compared to Wellfitting/Comexim and Agent Provocateur's. I nevertheless wear my Ewa bras a lot. The shape is front and center. The profile is quite lifted, with a very subtle peak. Until Wellfitting recently came out with their Extra Deep Plunge cut, I thought I was stuck with my Ewa Michalak 3Ds and PLs if I wanted a lightly lined bra in this price range. Empreinte and Agent Provocateur are usually at least double the price of Ewa Michalak and Comexim.

    The shape I get from Ewa Michalak's HM Sekret Wiktorii is classic cakes on a plate. The look is as sexy as I expected. Unfortunately the band is absurdly tight for a 30 band. This makes the high gore instantly uncomfortable. The high center gore that comes with all half cup cuts is even more uncomfortable than it had to be because of the overly tight band. It’s annoying how inconsistent Ewa bands are. Since I had to scuttle my plans to remove the wires and wear it as a wireless bra, I'm once more saddened by an Ewa bra.

    Didn't fit

    I want to love this bra but it really does nothing for my shape. No lift or cleavage. Outlines my lower set shape and gives me a very natural look.

    I love the way it holds me - it does feel supported and rounded, but also very free and open on top. Just not much for lift. The wires are stiff and bother me more than my Marcie and similar bras.

    It's a teensy bit small on me though the cups measure deep enough - underwire doesn't want to stay in my IMF, and I could do with slightly taller cups. Just a bit more coverage at the wings and cup edges would help.

    Didn't fit

    I wanted to fall in love with this bra, but I couldn't. The gore is very painful at the top because it comes up too high and digs into my sternum, and the cups don't allow enough space for my inner fullness down lower. It looks like I'm getting squished from the inside, forcing my boobs into a splayed look. The bra does round things out nicely, which looks nice under a shirt. The main problem is that the cups are just too small for me, however, I'm not sure I'll re-order this bra again... I may just get a different style.
