I found this on clearance and it is a sister size; the band is too tight without an extender, but the cups fit relatively well. The larger breast has a teensy bit of tissue that is cut by the top edge of the cup. The day I bought this, I tried on another Elomi in a 38 - Persia - and it felt as is the band was larger than this one. My guess is that some people would need to size up in the band. The cups are iffy. I went with my sister size and I really needed one cup size larger.

It's wonderful as a plunge bra. I don't have that many items to wear that need this, but everything I've worn it with has worked.

I feel like the gore is too wide for me.

Great bra--very comfortable and supportive. It is about one or two cup sizes too small for me at the moment though. After a few weeks of wear, one of the wires popped out of the gore. I was very disappointed with this, especially because I was very careful to only hand-wash and line-dry this bra. However, I own this same bra in a larger cup size and have not had this issue, so it may have been a fluke.

Very comfortable and supportive, plus it's seamless so it gives a nice smooth appearance with clothing. Seems like it might run somewhat large in the cups compared to other Elomi bras, because I wear at least one or two cup sizes larger in the Caitlyn and Tamarie than I do in this bra. Probably one of my favorites!

Incredibly comfortable and supportive. Band stretches out fairly quickly, but it's also one or two cup sizes too small (which makes the fit even worse on a tighter setting). Nice color choices--I own it in purple and burgundy.

Does this bra fit. I think that the cups are way to large.

wires are to far apart. Does not fill out the top, it is very supportive.

This is the first bra that I bought in my "new and correct" size. The gore is fairly high, but it's not a problem unless you a) do a lot of bending over and b) have some tummy that will push it up when you do. I originally thought that the underwires were too far back under my arm, but it sits nicely along the outer curve of my breast tissue. It's a good basic bra - not terribly sexy, but not too plain, either! The lace design on the top of the cups will show through thin material. so beware of that.

  10. Suzie (8090)

Elomi is a brand that really suits me. They are pretty consistent in sizing so the 38h has fit me in several styles. The Suzie has a nice snug, firm band. Hooking it on the loosest hook works the best. The cups are pretty full coverage, which I like. I don't have any cutting-in. It gives me great support and good shape. It's fairly boring in appearance, but I'll sacrifice looks for comfort and fit.

  11. Lara Full Cup (8062)

I think Elomi is really suited to my shape. This bra gives great support and lift and a nice rounded shape. The band is snug enough, but I do hook it on the middle hooks. The bra looks a little boring though. The chain link embroidery along the top of the cup is cute. It's made from a stiff and sturdy fabric. I don't see this bra stretching out any time soon!

  12. Cleo Underwire Bandless (8001)

I really like this bra. The band is pretty true to size and has just a bit of firm stretch. The cups are pretty full but nicely enclose all my breast tissue. I get a bit of wrinkling along the top on one side, and at the bottom on both sides. However I think this bra is a good fit. As it softens up with wear and as my boobs settle into it over time I think it will be great. I feel nice and snug and secure with no poking. This is the kind of bra I would wear on a busy day when I don't want to worry about adjusting a bra or having not enough support. It's not the sexiest bra, but it gives a nice rounded shape and looks pretty basic, but nice.

This bra really keeps me in and up. I like it for blouses, t-shirts, and when I want to be really perky. The design on top does show with tight outfits. I don't like wearing it in hot weather. It's so close to the body, I can't wipe the sweat away easily. I wash it on delicate in the washing machine.

    • You could check out the Elomi Smoothing 3911 - that one doesn't show under clothing as much. Unlike the Elomi Smoothing 1220 the 3911 is unpadded and thus easier to wash. Also the Elomi Asia is a printed version of the Smoothing 3911 but the shape is slightly different.
