    THE BRA
This bra's cut is identical to Curvy Kate Vegas, AKA The Flamingo Bra. If the Ellace almost worked for you, but you got in-cup quadding from the too-stretchy lace, then Tropics and Vegas are definitely worth a try.

The band runs big around this size, at least compared to Panache (the brand I have the most experience with). I fastened the 34JJ on the tightest hooks and was able to wear the 32K comfortably. The straps are pretty stretchy too.

    ME
I'm still learning my shape. I know I have soft tissue and narrow roots, and I need lots of projection at the wire. I think I'm omega-shaped, a little ... FoB, with center fullness. Wires like to slide out of my IMF. Wire ends like to stab me in the armpits.

    THE BRA ON ME
At the beginning of the day, the Tropics was wonderfully comfortable and gave a nice, natural shape. After a few hours, it slid about 2" out of my IMF. It was still pretty comfy, but the shape got pointy, my larger side was quadding out, and I had some serious bounce. I also started to notice some east/west action (which may have been there from the beginning).

It was pretty with polka dots, a thin band of flowered lace, and satiny trim. But it is a total shape mismatch for me and just wasn't up to the job of lifting my heavy girls. My boobs kind of fell to the outside, while bulging out the inner tops and feeling like I would pop out if I wasn't careful. The apex was very low. I'm not sure what shape this one is good for, but I am very projected and pendulous, fuller on the outside but fairly even vertically. I have tall, but deflated roots that can appear almost like FOT when the bottom is well supported. The Princess was probably the lowest cut bra I've tried; I think I will need fuller coverage cups. The polka dots also showed through my shirt and made me feel like a pickle!

I sized up to a 34JJ because I've found CK's unlined balconies to run a bit small. I do have some wrinkling on the outside of the cup and at the very top of the lace, but I'm not sure I could go down a cup.

This bra is really well made and comfy. All the material on the bra is very soft. As usual with CK's larger cup sizes, I wish the straps were wider and scaled to a larger, heavier breast. These bothered me less than CK's straps usually do, though.

Again: super comfy. I tried really hard to convince myself to keep this bra, but I ... just can't justify it when it gives me such an obvious bubble/quadboob where the lace meets the laminate cup. There's only a very thin piece of elastic at the top of the stretch lace which is the usual culprit for this kind of quadboob issue, but I guess I can't tolerate anything there. The only unlined bras that don't give me this effect at all are Panache Envy and Clara. This bra is constructed very similarly to those two, with the exception of the elastic and side support on Envy/Clara. I'm really tempted to keep this one and see if I can't remove the piece of elastic.

I pulled the elastic in at the top of the gore and tacked it there, making it a firmer fit, and that removed the in cup quadding for me. As a test, pull the top of the lace edge in towards the gore and see if that helps at all.

cupandahalf *facedesk* I'm an idiot. When I was trying it on I actually pulled at the lace a little and thought gosh, if only the lace was tighter! I never thought of sewing the lace to the gore. I'll try that before removing the elastic (after I posted this review I convinced myself to keep it).

Lol. I know right?! I have bought this bra a number of times and returned it because of this problem. I hope it works out!

    I don't know why I love this bra so much. It just fascinates me with its suuuuper lightweight mesh, and its lace that goes on forever, and its little jaunty, curvy, turned-up "nose" it makes. But I can't keep it. It is just soo bouncy there is nowhere I could wear it but for my own pleasure in my own house. The side appearance isn't as good, either - very projected with a blunt, rounded shape - like a blimp. And it's not very good at hiding your nipples, much to my daughter's horror when I tried it on. (;

But I do love the light feeling. When you pick it up, it's like a piece of fairy lace. I'm thinking if I tried a smaller cup, it would giver better coverage and support. Maybe. But I also heard - maybe here on bratabase? - that they are going to be putting out a version with non-stretch lace? Maybe I could try again in the fall.

    THE BRA
This bra's cut is similar to Curvy Kate Vegas and Tropics, but feels firmer than both all over. The lace half of the cups has little to no stretch. The wires are fairly narrow and the cups are deep and somewhat tall. It's very supportive. The kitschy floral print is actually quite nice in person, especially with the pale blue bows.

    THE BRA ON ME
The Daydreamer gives me firm, comfortable support and seems to fit just about perfectly. I think it looks lovely on. Unfortunately, something about the cut makes my breasts look square under clothes. It's like I have blocks in my shirt!

This is a very good bra for breasts with lots of immediate projection, and it works for my slightly FOB, narrow-rooted breasts. The wires do not dig into my armpits, and it seems pretty true to size. However, the stretch lace is very, very soft and stretchy, to the point where it gives me in-cup quad-boob at the seam between the power mesh and the stretch lace. This is not a good bra for soft breasts. On me, the fit is almost identical to the 34J I tried on, but the 34JJ is both a) slightly more comfortable and b) has worse in-cup quadding.

I have had this bra for a week and I absolutely love it! I finally found my perfect bra and I owe it to Bratabase https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
Based on measurements and reviews I decided to order this bra as it was on sale. The key was to look at the wire width. Based on my measurements a bra calculator says I'm supposed to have a 100G. But with the correct wires my size is a 75JJ. Then I use it with a bra extension. For a more comfy band I should choose a 36J, but then the wires are to wide and I loose ... the support.
The best part with this bra is that it gives me the look of a natural upper chest fullness. Due to a huge weight loss my breasts are sagging, splayed, full on bottom and with absolutely no fullness in upper chest.
The cup fits perfect on my bigger side, but is about one cup size to big on my smaller side. As I am familiar with sewing, I will try to add a pocket to insert a foam pad.
The only downside with this bra is the straps. They are too thin and soft and it makes them twist. I have bought silicone "Comfy straps" and that prevents twisting, but they show if the neckline is wide.

  8. Eden Balcony Bra (CK2001)

One of my favourite bras. The material is a bit strange at first, it's a slightly firm shiny/slippery material. Comfortable though.
It fits all round perfectly with minimum strap adjustment needed.
The wire is actually an inch shorter than the 'pocket' so it leaves an inch of material under the arm with no wire inside it....I find wires poke under the arm a bit so I loved the extra space.
I hope they make more like this!!

I am actually very pleased with this bra now that I have it in the right size. It's unobtrosive, comfortable, gives just enough projection, and I forget I'm even wearing it. It's the only bra I went back and bought s other of! My only issue is with the width of the wire and subsequentt width at the top of the cup. Difficult to wear under anything but a tshirt sometimes.

This bra is ridiculously pretty and delicate looking. The dark blue looks great with the contrasting off white embroidery.

Unfortunately, Curvy Kate bras don't work with my shape. I have narrow close set breasts and the cut of this bra seems like it would suit wider set breasts with less projection than mine.

The Bra is really pretty and sturdy but the wires are just too wide for me. I love the gold embroidery detail and small cut outs on the top panel.

The band was a little looser than I'm used to. (My other bras are cleo and the 34s are a lot tighter.)

This bra is so comfortable, but the band is a bit tight, and I would probably try a 36J in the future. The cups are great, but the shape, I think, doesn't quite fit my breasts. I get a shape that's kind of like a football. This may be the balcony style of the bra--I haven't worn too many balconettes lately, not since I've been properly sized. The feel is nice, the mesh part sexy. If the style suited me better, I would definitely love and recommend this bra.

Sad boobs: If you follow the curve from both the bottom and top, you see that the upper part, pointing down, is much longer than the bottom curve, giving a not so uplifted look https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

The band feels a bit big, but that may because of the really wide wires, which can make it feel like the band is bigger than it is.
