    36J/JJ

    Hasn't set fit

I love this Swimsuit! The best I've worn so far! I'm so happy I gave this a try. It's a non-wired swimsuit that actually works for big boobs and feels supportive. It makes me feel good and confident with my body. It's comfortable to wear for few hours at least. The band + cup construction do a lot of support because the material is thick and firm. It's a bit thicker than your usual Bikini material, more like on a sports swimsuit. Of course with such a style there is some strain on the shoulders but for me it was bearable wearing it 3-4 hours to sunbathe and swim. ... It felt also good in the water, it would hold it's shape. The quality seems nice and the claps look sturdy. I have to update once I worn it a bit more if that still applies.

Sizing: now I tried this in 34J/JJ and 36J/JJ and found the 36J/JJ to work better for me. (I usually wear bras in 32JJ-K range) The band is quite tight, so I recommend sizing up. The 36 band feels more comfortable. The "cups" in the 36J/JJ give me the coverage and security I need and still feel supportive. The bodysuit is cut rather modest and has good coverage on the back / legs and front. The plunge neckline is deep, but I find that it looks good in combination with the more modest suit. It gives you nice cleavage for sure. For reference I am 169cm / 5'6 and I have rather long torso. It's long enough for me. Most bathing suits are too short for me but this is perfect. It might be a bit too long if you are very short. My clothing size is UK 16-18 / EU 44/46 / US 14/16.

Honestly I fully recommend this for large cup sizes if you can handle some weight on your shoulders. It's one of the best I tried so far.

This looks amazing on you! Looks like a super comfortable fit.

This swimsuit looks FABULOUS on you, alisa ! I'd be interested to see how high cut it is and whether the back looks reasonably smooth. Can you take more pictures?

I appreciate all these reviews of wireless Curvy Kate cup and band sized swimsuits. I didn't even know they made such things, much less that they could look so good in your size range. Depending on how high cut the legs are, I may even give them a try myself.

    • learningaboutbras Thanks :) It's not very high cut on me. I did not upload full body pics first I still battle with insecurities and I also don't want too much shown in the internet :S I have more pictures of the blue suit that show a bit more and might be helpful that I now accicentally uploaded here... (@jj can you change this, please? :S ) there is a tiny gap where that cut-out sits on the back but also I have to stand quite awkwardly to take these back pics ith the mirror. it dit not bother me while wearing.
I saw it on fullerbustinspo instagram she recommended CK non wired suits for fuller bust and they looked amazing on her. I was shocked when I got it that it is that good! Im so thankful for her review I never dreamed of trying this. I won't touch my uncomfortable wired tankinis in quite a while now. It's also 1000 times easier to put on...I love it.

Check out my review of this suit in 36J/JJ where I go more in depth about it:36J/JJ - Curvy Kate ยป Poolside Non Wired Plunge Swimsuit (CS010.
I got this 34J/JJ because it was recommended on instagram for big busts. (I usually wear 32JJ/K.) I found the band very tight on this, I can close it but digs into the back fat more than I like. The cups feel also a bit tight and there is a bit of side boob going on and more cleavage than on the size up. It's still very wearable and really good for my size range where nothing ever fits right... ... I just prefer the larger size but I kept this one also (because it was on sale and I loved the colour) because I'm loosing a bit of weight at the moment.
One thing I have to point out that is different on this than on the 36J/JJ... at the seam of the neckline (the cleavage area) the inner part which is another colour does "fold out"... so you see the inner lining. It's a bit annoying having to adjust this. I don't have this with the bigger size so I think it's because it's a bit too small - so the lining shows.
