After about a year of wondering whether or not I should try Comexim, I went ahead and placed an order. My size is outside of what they list on their website, but they were willing to make it for me anyway. I ordered Sonia in a three-part half cup, size 85K, with the straps moved in 2cm and cookie pockets added to the insides of the cups. The size was a guess, but it appears I guessed right!
The bra is, first of all, absolutely gorgeous - pictures simply do not do it justice. The peachy-pink of the cups, overlaid with the silver lace, is just beautiful. The straps ...are a different color - a nice darker tan - and the gore and straps are decorated with bows made up of two ribbons, one in each color. The pink is too dark to be a real nude on me, but it still blends close enough that it's not very visible under a thin shirt. The way the seaming is done on the cups is virtually invisible under a thin shirt. I find it much less noticeable than the seams on my EMs.
The bra is also very, very comfortable. The straps are fully adjustable, which isn't something I need but is nice just the same, and they are not too far apart for me. The padding of the bra itself is actually thinner than I had expected, which is nice - it's already getting to be too warm for padded bras where I live, so it's nice to know I can actually wear this bra right now. Also, because the padding is thinner, I don't get bunching around the armpit area, like happens with my EMs.
As for the fit...it actually fits me pretty well! Due to my shape - very projected, narrow, very short roots, lots of bottom fullness - I have a tricky time getting a good fit in most bras. The gore doesn't tack completely, but Comexim has very soft wires so I was expecting that to be the case; if I press it down I do not get any quadding. There is plenty of projection at the wire (which I need), and a good amount of space in the center (which I also need). The cups are just a hair too tall, especially towards the center on my smaller size, but I adjusted the straps and stuck a pair of cookies in from one of my EMs, which makes up almost all of the difference - the pictures are before I adjusted the straps. Under a shirt there's only a tiny bit of a crease on my smaller size where the cup sticks up just a tiny bit too much. The wires are shorter than the channels, so I adjusted them so that the empty space is in the gore which helps it sit a bit more closely. The band runs just slightly less than true to size; I went with 85 instead of 80 and it measures just under 38" stretched. The wires are a good width for me, and while the wings measure as being high, they don't poke my armpits at all.
I will absolutely be ordering from Comexim again. I love EM, and CHP is amazing for me, but 3HC works almost as well, costs a lot less, and I can get customizations done on it for free. That right there makes it a winner for me, and I am very pleased with this. I think if I order a 3HC with a lowered gore and overlapping wires, that'll solve the few small fit issues I have with this bra. Read more 500 more words

I find that this bra has a bit more room in the cup than my 80GG CHP - the measurement difference is small (about a quarter of an inch) but I feel like the cups are a little bit taller in this (cup shape is also slightly different). I went up a band size because every measurement for Sonia pointed at it running small, but it's more TTS than I expected so I think I'll be safe (and you'll be as well) with an 80 next time.

Very sexy and beautiful bra. The eyelash lace doesn't lay flat, but rather flutters (see what I did there?) over the breast. This is the closest fit I've had and I want to keep this so bad, but the cup edge shows under shirts and it gives me a backache the second I put it on.
Comexim 3HC bras have all the immediate projection they are hyped to have. The wires actually stay in my IMF, I didn't think that was possible! The gore doesn't tack, it's too high. I think that's why the cup edge is gaping once my breasts settle. They bubble up and the ribbon ...cuts in after a fresh scoop and swoop and when I push the gore down. I don't think it's enough to need a bigger size. I think maybe it's just not projected enough at the top or gore.
I've got a weird issue with the straps. The left keeps falling off. The angle they are pulling at flattens my breasts as it comes up and it puckers up into this 3D triangular strap gap. I end up with trapezoid boobs.
The band is tapered. I found the top of the band loose under the arms and kept tightening it. I got it to the 3rd hook (there are 4 rows on this) before my back fat caused too much rolling on the bottom edge. Read more 125 more words

Due to this happening, I could confirm for sure that the 2hc style is much shallower at the bottom of the cups than the 3hc. 3hc bras have never given OIG effect that much whereas this 2hc does. You can see in on the pictures.
However I think that the 2hc is a more supportive style because of the shape it gives. It pushes the bottom of my breasts (because it is shallow?), and makes ...breasts like cakes on a plate. This cut reminds me of Curvy kate's Tease me or Ridge. (The wires are much narrower and the cups much deeper though!)
Even though I didn't request, the gore is overlapped and narrower than other comexim bras I have. But it is still so tall, that it floats a bit. I will try a lowered gore next time to avoid the floating gore since the overlapped gore doesn't work for me.
The band is quite firm for now. 38 size fits like stretchy 34 bands, which suits me perfectly. But I am not sure whether it will stretch out or not. It is made of double layered mesh used for body shaping underwears.
And there are wrinkles on cups near straps for unknown reasons. I want to know why.

I got a 2 instead of 3 when I ordered too. Keep reading this lately! Looks like you have some quadding on the one side...could be why the gore is not tacking. If 3 is deeper it is a better cut for you :) Beautiful bra!

I think Ingrid is the prettiest bra among my collection. Its quality is also great. The straps are wide and sturdy enough to support the weight of my heavy breasts, and the band is not too firm but not too steretch as well. However its sizing is little bit off imo. I think the cup runs small. I ordered geisha, mint and ingrid in size of 80k (or its sister size) few month ago, Ingrid gave me the worst quadboob. From that experience I opted 85K with some alterations such as moved in straps and reduced cups, but it is still too small in the cup. (Of course too big in the band. I don't know what I was thinking as ordering it)

So I will sell and re-order it in a different size.
Just for future orders, generally people go up a cup size when reducing the cup height (since you end up reducing the cup volume a bit). So it would be expected that a regular 80K and an 85K with reduced cups would have about the same cup volume, just with different band sizes

I ordered this bra as part of my second order of Comexim from Breakout Bras (BOB). After the fit fiascos I had with 36jj bras, I thought I would try going up a band size and down several cup sizes. (The cups were gaping and the band was digging). That was a mistake, clearly. In BOB’s defense, they only told me to go down one cup size and keep the band size the same, which also didn’t work if you see my other reviews.
What I can say about this bra is that it should fit nicely if it were actually my size. It is too large in the band and too small in the cups, but at least it had the decency to demonstrate this in very predictable ways for me. No wondering if the cups are too small or too large somehow at once. Just straightforwardly quadding out the top.
Anyway, it feels like good material and I’m sure it will find a much better home.
This is a bikini top model "Showcase" in their peacock print, and follows the Comexim padded plunge fit. The gore doesn't quite tack, but it does 'float' comfortably between my breasts, about a half inch away from my sternum, and I don't have an issue with it. This is 1 cup size larger than my usual Comexim size, but I thought I'd take a chance, and it does work for me. Just a tiny gapping on the larger breast, and a bit more on the smaller, but both breasts stay comfortably within the cups. It actually fits in the cups the same way my Comexim ...Gloria and Padded Plunge 38HHs fit, and I'm guessing that's due to the swimsuit material being extra spandex-y and stretchy. There is no band adjustment due to the clasp... metal locking L-shaped hooks, one on either side, that click together (nice and secure, no worry about unhooking unless someone grabs it to unclick.) Typical stretchy swimsuit material, but a bit heavier than a regular swimsuit which is confidence-boosting. Double layer of material around the sides and a thin layer of padding in the cups (which I am sure helps with making it fit my 1-cup smaller size, and still look decent.) Print is cute, and overall I get a good feeling about it. (The opinion received from my guy was positive, too.) Other than the slight gapping which is really only visible from my vantage-point while wearing it, the only other negative is that the back band does roll up on the lower elastic. If there were a couple more clasps for band sizing at the back, I'd like that... after longer use,(or maybe even once it actually gets WET in a pool etc) it might loosen up to the point it wouldn't be as secure. Another, slightly tighter clasp option would really help out with that possible issue.

This bra is indeed gorgeous! The colour is more of a rosy peach / salmon colour rather than pink, and the silver lace overlay is absolutely lovely. The colour combination is very delicate and beautiful. I also agree with the other reviewers that the pictures don't fully do it justice - it's prettier in real life. Regarding alterations, I ordered it this one and a plunge, both with the alterations: - reduced cup height - reduced gore height - straps moved in I received an email confirming the alterations, but I had also read in another review that Comexim doesn't really do cup height alterations on half-cups. However, comparing the ...cup to another 3HC bra with the same cup size (but that one also with lowered wires), the alterations seem to have been done. The straps have been moved in, but only by 0.5cm, and the cup height is lower on the Sonia by 2cm near the strap. The gore height is the same. The band is extremely stretchy. I had tried an 80 band in the Comexim Ingrid plunge before, and found it uncomfortably tight (I usually wear 34/36 bands). But the 85 band is way too loose - it stretches easily to 100cm! I think it's mainly because the band is made from just one layer of fabric, but this kind of inconsistency makes it quite a gamble to order bras with alterations from Comexim, as they are not returnable. However, their flexibility and willingness to help makes up for it as far as I'm concerned, as well as the excellent fit of the bras. The Sonia being now discontinued, I'm keeping it, but I'm already on the tightest hook and the band starts to ride up. The immediate projection is great, there is a lot of it! You can actually see that the bra is sewn in such a way so as to come out at an angle higher even than 90°. This bra has the most immediate projection from all I've tried up to now. This bra is gorgeous and so close to the perfect fit! As a remark, I took the measurements after I've already worn it a few times. I didn't have the feeling that the band stretched out, at least not noticeably, and the other measurements would not be affected.
Well.... I love its looks but the cup shape doesn't match my boobs. It's a shame because this bra gives the killer cleavage....
About the fit, The cups are narrow and too closed for my fot-even boobs. I think it would fit fob breasts better. And the cup size runs large a bit, not a entire size but more projected than other comexims I've tried. Comparing to my current uk size, it fits like 34h/36gg, imo.
For reference, I wear em in 80hh, curvy kate 34hh, cleo 34h~hh.

I ordered this bra with the alterations: - reduced cup height - reduced gore height - straps moved in. This bra has a very tight band. While it's a 38 band, it feels like a tight 34. The lower elastic on the band has an extra elastic sewn onto it, elastic which has a transparent side, and underneath it another thin black elastic. You can somehow notice this in the pictures on the website, but it's not really obvious until you know what you're looking for. From the point of view of looks, the bra is covered in a black mesh, similar to the Ingrid. The mesh on the Ingrid ...feels a bit softer to the touch, but this could be because it's already been washed and worn quite a bit. The inside of the cups is anyway lined with soft cotton. The mesh and the decorations make it look a bit less like a plain black everyday bra. The top edge of the cups is marked with a bronze coloured band, which has a braided pattern. The pattern is not flat, but I'm not sure how that would look under a shirt, I didn't try on the bra with a shirt. That fabric is gorgeous!! It reminds me of the Masquerade Rhea, with the wide lace sewn on the top part of the cup. The fabric is satiny but not overly glossy, it looks and feels very luxurious.
I ordered this with the alterations: - reduced wing height, wire lower under the arm by 2cm - reduced centre gore height - cookie pockets. The gore was also made overlapping.
Regarding the fit, the band is very tight. I'd say this fits like a tight 34 band or a 32. I always wear 34-36 bands and for me it's way too tight, I can barely fasten it. Which is understandable, at 28in unstretched and barely 33in stretched. I would say this fits like a 75M.
Sooooooo pretty. Much more beautiful in person. I wish I had ordered 80L or more supportive band. The band is made of one layered powernet, so that it is quite stretchier than other models like Elena or Angelina. Usually I order one or two size bigger in the comexim band but this fits like tts, 38. And the cups are usual comexim size. Very narrow and deep. I asked narrowed and lowered gore to avoid the floating gore issue and it worked.
