I love this bra! It's a new cut for me from Comexim, and I would buy the single seamed half cup again based on my experiences. The wires are nice and narrow (4.6 inches wide) and the cups are very low coverage. This style does run a bit small, so if you don't want the amount of Cleavage I have here, you can always order up a size. The pattern of this half cup is identical to the pattern of my plunges, but with the top section removed. So if you typically order with reduced cups and want them even further reduced this is a good option. To ... me, it seams even more plungey than the plunge. The band on this is on the tighter side or true to size at 25.5 inches, so it's perfect for me. I believe this is the same cut as the new Victoria Halfcup. I had heard that this style of half cup ran very shallow, and I wouldn't say that's true in my size. It's overall smaller than the plunges I have in the same size (which makes sense as it's half a cup) but it has the same lower cup shape and narrower wires. This bra was sent to me by Comexim to review (as a lovely surprise), and I don't know if it has been altered. It's one of the most comfortable bras I own, and I'm so glad to add it to the collection!

You just said recently how you'd love to be one of those bloggers who get bras as gifts for reviewing purposes - and here it is! A beautiful one at that... :)

    • 1

erispe I know! I feel so lucky that Anna enjoyed my previous reviews. I'm always happy to support a company that I love so much. I actually received Pioson Ivy Longline and Geisha as a gift as well.

    • 1

Wow! So the reviews are on the way... will be reading. :)

    • 1

This bra looks amazing. Glad you got a great bra!

    • 1

This is really pretty. I've eyed it everytime I've placed an order but I never go with it. I didn't think it'd fit. But, if they're projected and narrow in this range I may have to go for it.
It is very mermaid like, that's a perfect description.

Also, I cannot wait to read your Poison Ivy longline review! I was going to have mine made a longline, but decided against it. I'm interested to see what it would have looked like.

    • 1

Wow thanks for reviewing this bra! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I've been wanting to order from Comexim and Yoko will definitely be in my basket.. Perhaps my favorite from their designs!

Wasn't much info available so this is certainly helpful. What size would you recommend for a UK 30GG / EM 70H in S style?

    • 1

I'm glad it was helpful! :) I was very positively surprised by this one. It's very similar to the plunge with reduced cups, but more so! jlcl119 you should definitely try it! I think it would suit you well.

bubblegum Yay! I'm glad to spread the Comexim love! I also absolutely adore this bra. It's a really unique design that I haven't seen a lot before. I would guess 65K or L, but you could also go for 70J or K if you're worried about band tightness. Comexim bands tend to be fairly true to size, but this one ran about .5" short.

    Hasn't set fit

Alterations: Reduced cups, straps moved in, cookie pockets, 1 cm extra depth at the wire. The first three were done, unsure about the extra depth. But since this fits better than my Lavender with reduced cups only, I think they did add 1 cmโ€”or maybe it's because this cut is less closed than the other plunges.

This is almost perfect, but since I requested the same alterations on two other bras that don't fit (one actually ended up smaller than the first iteration with reduced cups only), I'm not exactly hopeful that this can be replicated. I'll just be satisfied that I finally got the cute bra-print bra, on ... the fourth try. I've basically been doing all these trials for the bra and bird prints ๐Ÿ˜‚

I really love Comexim, but the hit or miss alterations are getting to me. Especially since I've had three Avocado orders in a row that were pretty great, not always the *perfect* fit bc I need the shortest bras, but all wearable and fancy.

I've been all over the place on what to do, but I think I'm probably better off sticking with 55J 3HC, maybe with extra depth at the wire, to minimize disappointments orโ€”if I ever want to take another chance (probably not lol)โ€”55J plunge with reduced cups (13.5-14 cm cup height seems to be my sweet spot), straps moved in, reduced gore.

Or I'll just shop around some more until I can find a sure thing, because I do like the less cake-y shape of the plunge. I asked about the Ewa Michalak S today, and it seems like the cup height is similar to the Comexim reduced cup plunges in this size range, so maybe I'll try that sometime. Wide-set straps might be worth it for a consistent cut.

Update: Ewa Michalak S starts at 55G. I think that might be too large for me, but I'll keep it in mind.

Ah this is the plunge Adele? You were talking about this, not the lavender! So glad you at least got something almost perfect but yeah, it's hard to have the alteration guaranteed each time. I think the basics do run the tiniest bit smaller, even with alterations, that's just how it might be, idk. The other one, no clue why the depth of that one is so small, it's basically a 55H with .5 cm more!

    • 2

MeeM_13 Yeah, I decided to keep the Lavender and the 55J 3HC since they're not *that* bad. I think the basics run a little smaller too, but it seems less noticeable in the 3HCs. I'm about over trying plunge alterations now lol. I didn't think moving in the straps could affect depth so much! I might as well stick with the 3HC for the cute prints, and maybe try the Ewa Michalak S someday.

    • 2

airymoon I typed out a long reply and it disappeared when I came back :( I'm glad you got 3 good enough bras out of this. I'd definitely be sick of all the alteration combos and whatever. Maybe you'll find luck with 55J 3hcs or plunges with reduced cups, like you said ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ Good to know that the depth changes if you ask for the straps moved in. I was thinking to order unlined bras sometime and thought straps moved in would be okay but I think I'd just ask for them to made into 3hcs. Thing about EM is I've not seen it on many smaller/smaller-medium breasts. They say they're all sizes inclusive but even their "small" isn't small enough. In my mind, their bras are only for bigger boobs. If you do order them, I'd love to know how they work out for you!

    • 2

I like my 60F CHP! It's probably a better fit on larger days though, but a 60E is too small for me. The straps are as wide set as the Karina I sent you though, which is a bummer. I think I'm going to try a 55FF S soon, so I'll let you know what I think ๐Ÿ˜‚

There are some old EM reviews here in 26FF/G and sister sizes: https://stackdd.com/?s=ewa+michalak

    • 2

How do you find Comexim's 3HC compares to the plunge fit?

    • 3

The 3HCs are less projected and give me a push-up/cakes on a plate look. The plunges I've tried have been more closed on top, except for this Adele, which is possibly why it fits better.

    • 1

      ComeAtMe_Bra Forgot to tag you!

    • 1

airymoon Thanks! The 55J plunge you sent me fits pretty much perfectly, as does my previous one, but it sounds like the 3HC won't work so well with projected/FOB. I prefer the 3HC "cakes" shape though ๐Ÿ˜…

    • 1

      ComeAtMe_Bra That's great! I size up for the 3HCs (55HH plunge vs 55J 3HC) so maybe a 55K would suit you? I'm also projected/FOB.

A lot of people seem interested in unlined bras from comexim and for good reason, they're so hard to find and even if they're added, there isn't much information available.

First thing that comes to mind is that the band feels stretchier, almost looser when compared to their lined bras. It's still a 26 but I just like my bands extra snug so, if I were to order directly from comexim, I'd maybe ask for 50 (do they even still do 50 bands? I heard they don't). The hooks are 2 by 4.

I got this bra from someone else who asked for the reduced cups alteration and even ... then, the cups are too tall for me. The cup depth is great, it doesn't slighty squish like the 3HCs, it's a true fit. It is slightly narrower than the 3HCs, as the plunges are. The cup depth is also a bit larger (0.5-0.8 cm, depending on the 3HC, handmade variation). The straps are very wide. They cause a slight fit issue because the straps are not straight, if they were to sit well on my shoulders, causes slight gaping in some angles. That's really not an issue since all unlined bras gape on me, in some way. I'd suggest asking for the straps to be moved in and the other alterations you normally ask with your lined plunges. I'd like for the unlined bras to be made into 3HCs or at least have the straps moved in with the reduced cup alteration, when I plan on ordering from comexim directly. I have seen and heard that it is possible.

It gives a beautiful shape under clothes. It gives a rounded, natural look. Basically my breasts but a bit bigger and slightly rounded because it's all in one place. The lace does reallyyy show through at the top and even though there's no gaping, the lace sorta bends outwards sometimes and moves away from the bra a bit. I don't know if I'm making sense. The only negative point for me is how much it shows through.

The quality is great, doesn't feel delicate or flimsy. It's a very pretty bra and quite sexy, if only it didn't cover my entire breasts.

Overall, it is still the best fitting unlined bra I own, for now. There is no gaping most of the time, barely any wrinkling, no squishing. Would recommend trying the unlined comexim bras if you struggle with unlined bras.

Edit- after wearing it around for a while, it's very comfy and the gaping magically disappears. it's like a comfy bralette.

This looks good on you! yes, I am interested in unlined Comexims, and curious about the fit compared to their padded plunges, lol.
It looks really comfy from the pictures!

MeeM_13 , I wanted to do a little write-up on comexim padded plunges measurements/sizing this week and tag you! But I don't know if I will this week...

    • 1

Thanks! I kinda feel it doesn't look too great on me but it really is comfy! Also, I definitely would like to know how they compare. The person I got them from said they fit similarly. Makes sense. Why not this week? Well, whenever you do, tag me!

Beautiful! If it's comfy I'd consider it a win!
Thanks for reviewing, so interesting how little info there is on unlined Comexims.

I'm super curious to try one, but especially in the K+ sizes there seem to be quite a bit of scaling and sizing issues..

There's this blog review by kermitdafrog21 http://bra.pe/XSok/ / https://bratoday.wordpress.com/2016/06/13/comexim-musetta/ which kind of makes me scared to order one!

    • 1

bubblegum hmmm very interesting, the blog review. The cup depth was only 29 something cm for a size that is supposed to be quite a bit bigger than 55HH, the cup depth with this one is 20.7cm. I mean, there's no way that would fit a 70N! Must be very frustrating, bigger breasts are getting represented more but most of the fit problems I see have to do with bigger breasted people! (Not to say smaller sizes don't have problems but you get my point)

    • 2

Looks great! Thank you for this review. Iโ€™ve been trying to find more info on smaller band sizes for my daughter. Sheโ€™s very petite, 4โ€™10โ€ and 96 pounds. I recently got her a Comexim Basic in a 28DD and itโ€™s working pretty good so far, tho I think she could go down a band since she measures at 26โ€ underbust. Any data you add is always helpful.

    • 1

Happy2BraShop , wow, it's great that she has you as her mom - bra expert!

Of course for more reasons than that I'm sure, lol. : )

It will prob be easier to order 26 bands from Comexim? v. Ewa Michalak. I think one has to submit their measurements to Ewa (at least that's what I read from Marilynne) to get them to make a 26 band.

    • 1

BraOdyssey Thank you. I try my best and fly by the seat of my pants like most parents. Haha.
Iโ€™ve personally never ordered anything smaller than a 30 from EM. The 28DD happened to be at BreakOutBras. We gave it a shot since it was returnable. She ended up loving it. I just had to bend the wires out every so slightly on one side due to her scoliosis.
The Comexim cup definitely fits well. The band fits pretty snug, but I think the Basic in general tan tighter than other Comexim bras. I showed her the bra shared here in this review and she loved the pattern. I think Comexim is def the way to go as far as any alterations needed. And thatโ€™s for anyone in any size who needs customization.

The alteration was made for reduced cups, by the person I got the bra from. There is a slight difference in cup width (which feels a bit too narrow for me in the first few minutes of wearing and then, it feels okay) and height but the cup depth is the same as the other 55HH 3HCs.
The material is great, it feels sturdy, smooth. No itchiness at all. It's surprisingly breathable.

It's a pretty bra, not really my type but it does look great on. The band is snug and works for me, I'm more of a true 26 band, I think. The hooks are 2 by ... 3, some bras I have are 2 by 3, some are 2 by 4. I'm not sure why they're not all the same.

I have conical, functionally short roots with even fullness and it fits like a dream. When I bend over, there's slight quadding but that's just because it is the tiniest bit smaller to give the cakes on a plate look. Yep, that's what my breasts look like when there's an oomph effect.

I have nothing negative to say about this bra, only that the seams and outline show through a shirt slightly but that's to be expected. I just wouldn't ask the alteration for reduced cups if I was ordering from comexim directly.

Yay! My Comexim bra has finally arrived! I fell in love with this bra after seeing lcl0706 's review of it, but I waited a month before ordering..and then a month and a half later, I received it!
I did order some customizations. A * denotes that I'm not sure if the alteration was applied.
    -Extra reduced gore
    -Reduced cups*
    -Straps moved in 1cm*
    -Narrowed gore*
    -3 hooks
    -Thicker straps
    - Cookie Pockets
It gives the most amazing lift, and I get fabulous cleavage, which is partially due to the cups being too small. I may have to try future Comexims in 55J as all of the 55HH's I own are a smidge too small.
This is exactly the kind of bra I need though. Vertical seams, low(ish) gore, and thick straps. The wires are medium narrowish and slightly stiffer than the plunges I own. Pretty overjoyed as I got this custom made bra for only $38 shipped. I will definitely be purchasing more 3HC cuts in the future.

    • 1

      Nml817 My thought exactly. :-)

    • 2

Yes that was the only alteration I *absolutely* needed to get this :) The others are a bonus haha. Tall gores are uncomfortable for me since it sits on my breast tissue and can get itchy or really painful.

    • Ooh it's pretty Noob . I would say if the reduced cup was done, you don't need it and do a regular 55HH. If it wasn't done, do a 55J. The verdict is out on whether Anna will reduce half cups. But reduced cup + moving the straps in will make the cup fit like the next size down.

    • 1

Oooh, so pretty! It's almost like a half cup plunge hybrid with the gore reduced like this. Seeing this, I might try this alteration on a 3HC too in the future, it might be the way for me to have a Comexim plunge without ordering an actual plunge model (the really don't work for me).

I have an unaltered 3HC Poison Ivy on the way. Seeing this makes me really look forward to getting it!

    • Please indicate the customizations on the alterations field of the bra. You'll find them when you add the bra to the site or later on the measurements screen. It is important so measurements aren't confused with other alteratoins.

    Didn't fit

So, I'm sort of on a bra adventure today since it's Saturday and I need to decompress from last week's energy crash and spell of anxiety. I guess bra nerdery is my coping mechanism!

I'm reviewing this bra because I was just sent an Understance product sample bra in 28H/28FF. Not the size I asked for, but the size they sent me. Well, even though the cup depth is only 1.5 cm above what fits me, the bra is functionally too big for me! Well, it isn't THAT bad, but I think I'd do better in a 26H, the size they told me they'd send me. Anyways. I am ... amazed at how only 1-2 cm can make such a PROFOUND difference in fit!

Take this bra. Remember my 55J (almost) unaltered Eris? Super full coverage? Cleavage free? Well, this is an unaltered 55HH Charme. Look at those MOUNDS. I wanted to achieve cleavage using Ewa Michalak, but I realized I need to be better with my money now that I've started a new job. So, this can be my cleavage bra for now!

The cup depth difference between 55HH and 55J is less than 2 cm, but the difference in fit is insane! Going from zero cleavage to smooshing my wide set boobs together.

The reason I don't like this bra is because I find it uncomfortable. There's just something about the Charme that makes it so... stiff. It doesn't really help that the band is so tight compared to other Comexims. It used to be unwearable without an extender. A torture device. Now, it is only mildly annoying to wear. For reference, I can stand to put my Eris on the tightest hook even though it is new. I would never even consider putting this Charme past the loosest hook and I've had it since May 2020.

Anyways, bra science is amazing and I now have cleavage. It's nice feeling like a busty girl for a while, lol....

Ahhh the bra love of my life! I'm not sure what slight differences are at play with this bra but it just feels a bit better than the rest and it's perfect on me.
I think it might be because I'm not the biggest fan of the material with the basics and the reduced cup alteration with the rozalia. Also, those few mm in difference do something, I think. (Edit- it is the half cup with the most depth and least squish but still enough squish to make my boobs look nice). Maybe it's in my head.

It might look white-ish in the pictures but it's actually a beautiful cream colour and the details of the bra pop more irl. The little bra print is perfect. Reminds me of the meme "yo dawg, heard you like bras so, I put bras on your bra" hehe

Quality is fantastic, no complaints. I hope this bra lasts forever or at least the print will always be available!

    Hasn't set fit

I've heard conflicting answers on whether Comexim will reduce half cups. In my order notes, I said that I needed to size up from 55H and thought 55HH cups might be too tall. I think the alteration was made since the cup height is similar to my 55Hs but I'm not sure.

Edit: This fits like a 26F. I ordered a regular 55HH to compare. If I still need more depth, then I might try a 55J with reduced cups, straps moved in, and reduced/overlapping gore sometime.

Also, the package was trackable on 17track.net. I could see when it arrived in the US and when it was handed over for delivery.

Update: The cup height and depth are just slightly different from my unaltered 55HHs, so I don't know if it's due to the alteration or regular handmade variation. They all fit similarly, like a 26F and too small for me. I guess I underestimated my size change; trying 55J next.

  10. Irish Coffee Plunge Bra (335)

I just got my first Comexim and the fit is almost perfect. I've been eyeing this model for a long time and am lucky to be able to get this model as it was gone again one month after I got it. I got it on reduced cup height, reduced gore and moved in strap, with added pocket for removable cookies. The bra is so lovely I think it's the prettiest bra in my collections.

    Band:
It is slightly stretchy on my 24" ribcage that I have to hook on 2nd column straight away.

    Underwire:
Fits perfectly in my IMF and stay put the whole day. I like how soft the ... underwire is (it's soft but not flexible enough to bend backward while stretching the band) and I can wear it for the whole day without feeling the underwire!! Even EM's underwire is hard and feel painful on my super boney ribcage after few hours of wear.

    Strap:
Unlike EM bra that always cut me in my armpit, the moved in strap is just perfect for my narrow frame.

    Gore:
Although I asked for reduced gore, it's still a bit high for my liking. I would prefer it to be about half an inch lower, but it doesn't hurt me anyway so it's not a big deal.

    Cup fitting:
The reduced cup height is perfect for my high set boobs, and it's even good for low neckline clothing. The lace color make the bra tends to be a nude bra for my skin color and it does not show through tight fitting clothes. The cup is a bit close on the top edge, thus cuts in on my bigger side. Bottom of the cup is not quite enough for my bottom projection, I'm not sure whether it's designed this way to uplift the breast. Yes, it's very uplifting and give me the best cleavage I ever got in a light padded bra. The material is made of cotton it's so soft and comfortable to wear.

Overall, besides a little misperfection of the cup fits, it is the most comfortable bra in my collections at the moment. I'm going to get more of Comexim soon!

I'm so in love with this bra! It fits absolutely perfectly and I love the pattern. I now want all of Comexim's Longlines. They did alter this bra from a half cup to a plunge longline. It runs VERY tight (24.5 inches for a 26 band) and is quite tapered so if you're ordering one you may wish to size up. There's no boning in the longline and it does do the weird gore-bubble thing Joy does. There are still only 2 columns of hook and eyes on it. Gore height, cup height, and straps are all standard. I'm so in love guys, I can't believe I got this beauty for $45.

Jj I added this bra as a model, is this the right thing to do? I wasn't sure since it's so different from the base bra and actually Mystic isn't listed here either

    • 1

Do you think they would make 'Elena' Into longline just like you have ?

    • 1

I believe that they can make any bra into a longline as long as they have enough fabric. So you can't for any of the ones on sale, but other than that Anna said they could make any of them.

    • 1

PetiteCollegiate , I love this! I never really looked at this one on the site, but seeing it on LL form makes me think twice :)

    • 1

I love finding the obscure ones! :) they have so many amazing designs that just get lost among them others. I want all of them really :)

    • 1

They did a nice job on that! Shame about the two column clasp though. Hopefully they're willing to do three if asked.

    • 1

Just saw your blog post got shared on Comexim's Facebook page! How exciting!!!!

    • It was super sweet of Anna to share it! I love that I got a piece she's proud to show off :)

  12. Eve Full Cup Bra (46)

I just received my Eve, and it's cut differently from the one in the Comexim photo. Mine is a three-piece cup, whereas bra in the photo has a single vertical seam. I am glad I received the kind I did because it's cut like their padded plunge bras. All of the measurements run virtually the same, and the wires feel the same. The band is a little stretchier though not by a lot. Eve will feel great to wear in the Summer. It's not their most sumptuous style, but it has great utility, and the eyelet fabric is pretty IMO. I ordered my normal Comexim size FYI and ... it fits like normal.

Here are some shape characteristics I see in my size of the bra:

    - good projection at the bottom, better than in their padded plunges

    - cut somewhat shallow at the apex, gives me a more rounded silhouette than many unlined bras I've tried

    - somewhat closed on top, but the cup is fairly tall anyways so this wasn't an issue for me

    - the cup fabric is strong, not stretchy, and the seams are substantial (not itchy though)

Wow I'm pretty close to ABTF!! The cups are a little too tall and I know I need crossed wires as an alteration for the future! I love the colours on it, I had a primark bra with a similar colourway when I was trying to DIY 26/24 bands! I'm sooo happy about this! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />

So I have another heartbreaker on my hands! I really wish this bra worked for me, because I've been wanting this design for forever! Like every bra in my most recent Comexim order, this one is slightly small in the cups. Unfortunately, because of the design of the longline, this bra goes full nipple hat on me. The gore is too wide and doesn't tack. The wires of the bra float, both because the cups are a bit too shallow and the gore is too wide. So this one is going to be listed. The band of this runs a bit large, coming in at 27 inches stretched. It's cut pretty straight up and down and has three columns of hook and eye clasps. I believe this bra had the straps moved in and the cup height reduced, but I'm not certain. Anyways, my boobs have gotten weirder and now Comexim is a more difficult fit for me.

It looks nice, I was wondering if they would take the lace down all the way. I think I'd like it more if they had, at least in the center anyway.
Too bad it doesn't fit well.

    • Yeah I thought it would have the lace extended as well. The design is still nice, but it's not quite as nice as I pictured in my head. I don't know what my issue is with Comexim these days. It seems like everything fits weirdly.

    • 2

I bet you're right. I bet it's because it's a long line. I think if it were the regular bra it'd fit you better.

I wonder why they made the gore so much wider on this than they did the Mystic? If they had done it to both I would think it was to aid stability, but it's just the one.

    • 2

I'm surprised this is so shallow on you. I think it's definitely because of that long band. And I agree it would have been prettier if the lace had extended down. The way it is with that plain nude bra, it really does look like a regular bra that has a big fat band. Unfortunate, because Poison Ivy (I refuse to spell it wrong LOL) is a stunning bra on its own.

    • The beige seems to have a pinkish undertone on these pics - does it in reality? I can't say I have any experience with longlines, but I think I like this bra better in the regular version.

    • erispe my poison ivy is totally a neutral beige.

    • lcl0706 Mine is neutral, too (the one that used to be yours :)) - that's why I'm asking.

    • Mine is fairly pinkish, but stull definitely beige and not peach. It's a really pretty color

    • I'm guessing they used a material of a slightly different hue. I actually like the pinkish one.

    • I think a part of the problem with the gore is that there is no gore really. Just underwires on a longline. I think they might want to add a reinforced section in between the cups. The cups on Mystic are larger overall and the wires are closer together in the middle and they did sit flat against my skin. That band was a lot tighter though (24.5 inches vs. 27 inches). lcl0706 unfortunately, Geisha in 55HH is the same sort of slightly small shallow on me. The longline structure just exacerbates the issues in the cups.

    • 1

Isn't Geisha one of the ones that runs smaller in general though? Like the Basic.

    • Does it? I know it runs smaller in the band. I had both in 55J and the basic mostly worked but Geisha was too big.

    • 2

I think so, I've read it here and there anyway. About the Basic too, but my 60H was a fairly standard 28F, I felt. So, who knows.

    • Thats wonderful :) im so sorry it didnt fit

    • bonjourhi Comexim's long lines are actually quite long in comparison to other's I've tried. And they will allow you to customize them (such as choosing a length and the degree of taper). Comexim's plunges are fairly full coverage in construction, especially on me as I'm short-rooted and relatively high set.

FoxTaylor Thank you! I'm sad too!

    • 1

So are all the Comexim you own fitting weirdly or is it just the recent 3???? I wonder if they've changed the design slightly but didn't say anything. Especially since your other longline fit fine but this one has issues.

    • 1

pumkinswife of the most recent batch Yoko fits fine and the other two feel shallow and a bit small on me. Actually all three feel a bit small. All of the other reviews of regular Pioson Ivy mention it soft tacking at the gore, so it could be an overall design thing. It's always possible that they did change things though! My other longline is a different cut from this one. It's their plunge cut that has half stretch lace.

  15. Ginger Plunge Bra (365)

I'm very happy with this bra. I custom ordered this in 55HH with 3 hooks and slightly reduced cups (Anna said it can only be reduced somewhat). The fit is pretty much perfect. I am quadboobing slightly I think, but it doesn't really cut in and looks acceptable under shirts. I went with 55HH and reduced cups instead of normal 55H because I didn't want to risk the wires being to narrow like before when I tried 55H - Comexim ยป Scarlet Biustonosz (291) . But I think I could have gotten away without the reduction in cup height since my ... roots are tall and its slightly small.
The band is a true 26 band and fits me perfectly. It is not too tight, nor too loose. It is very thick, so it really hides my back fat around the armpit area and the slightly wider wires help encompass that tissue. The wires are very very flexible, so they are not that supportive (so if you have heavy breasts then this bra would not suit you in this size)- but surprisingly they do not warp on me because the band is perfect.
The gore on this bra is somehow taller than the same bras of this style with larger cups? I have looked at other measurements for this in bras available but they have lower gores than mine. I guess I'm a little disappointed https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> I was hoping for something like 1.5 inches tall so I could get better cleavage, but a 2 inch gore does not hurt me since my breasts are large enough to accommodate this.
This bra was super affordable and pretty much custom made, so I quite like it, but compared to Ewa Michalak, I would say the bra sort of flattens me in the profile. The cups are quite shallow and overall I look flat from the side compared to any of the EM cuts I've tried.

    • That's a gorgeous bra! If you had the opportunity, would you have gone with a larger cup size or do you think it would have been too wide or too deep? I'm curious because I have some custom Comexims coming my way as well. :O

    • Hmmm.. I'm not really sure. I would probably just get 55HH with regular cups since I know reduced cups fit a little smaller. Also Ginger is a different cut than their regular 'plunges'. It is slightly wider and shallower and already comes with a low gore.

    • We wear the same comexim size but for me it's EM all the way, the comexim bands are too lose even in 55 and the cups cut in on the top and give me pancake boobs. I need the projection that EM gives and the slightly more open on top cuts.

    Hasn't set fit

The cup width is about the same as the 3HC 55HHS, but the cups are more projected. The difference is less than a cm (but I never know if I'm measuring accurately), but because of the shape, it's the difference between 3HC tight overspill vs slight fluffing on my larger side. Fits like the unlined plunge.

Should have asked to have the straps moved in since they are wider than I prefer. It's not quite the best fit so I'm trying a customized 55J next.

Update: I tried a 55J with reduced cups/gore and straps moved in. It's still too tall though, so the apex is too high on ... my smaller side. I think I'm in between sizes, and my ideal bra would be a 55J with extra reduced cups or a 55HH with extra depth. Since the 55J would be unwearable if not reduced enough, I might try a 55HH again sometime (esp since the wire width is fine, or will be with deeper cups).

Update 2: I asked Comexim how much they usually reduce cups, and if they could be reduced more. They said I could "write what the height of the cups should be," which is very intriguing, and that they could add about 1cm depth at the the wire.

Update 3: Apparently 55J with 2cm reduced cups fits better.

Elena has Comexim's standard plunge style pattern, so nothing really to note in terms of cut. I bought this model mainly to compare it to Comexim's other beige plunge, Comexim Basic Plunge Bra (170). They are cut the same and only differ in terms of fabric, colour, and embellishment.

The Elena has a mesh later over the cups and band whereas the Basic has a regular overlay fabric.

The Elena is slightly darker and more yellow-toned than the Basic.

This bra and all of the others I received from Comexim recently come with four columns of hooks instead of the usual three I used to recieve.

This Comexim came from Wellfitting. The gore is not overlapped at all. The band stretches only minimally because the lower elastic is the thick, strong type. I must wear an extender with this bra. The cups are noticeably more narrow than my 60H plunges.

Unfortunately, Geisha in 55HH is also too shallow for me at the bottom of the cup. It pushes out of my IMF and just feels a bit crushing. It is an absolutely lovely bra though, and I'd love to eventually own it in a fitting version! I'm not sure where I'd go from here in sizing really though. The materials, craftsmanship, and details of this bra are spectacular. I love the 2x4 fastener and the moved in straps. It's definitely lovely to not have cups in my armpits.

Beautiful!! I experienced the same lack of projection in a 70HH. I'm hoping I can shimmy into a 65HH. So far, the only Comexin I've tried that fully accomodates me at the wire is a 60J Arizona, but the cups are TALL.

    • I hope 65HH works for you! I've found really that at the moment Comexim plunges just don't work for me because of their lack of immediate projection. They certainly are beautiful though!

    • It (65HH Geisha) is way too shallow, also. I have a theory: scaling changes dramatically at "j" because I couldnt fit in a 70HH, 65HH, or 60HH. But, the 60J is just projected enough for me to sit at the wire. Sooo, I hope to test my "j" theory soon. The 65HH two-seam half cup is also significantly too shallow; "J" next. You may need a "J" ;-)

Ingrid is such a lovely bra! It should fit someone in the 26FF range (or 28F, maybe with an extender till the band stretches out more), who has narrow roots, some immediate projection, and FOB-even breasts. The custom lower cup height is ideal for persons who have high-set breasts, narrow shoulders, or a petite frame.

My current best fit is Ewa M in 60F CH,CHP. My main problem with comexim bras are that I have too much immediate projection, and my breasts are too heavy for the cup, so it pushes the wire down. My breasts aren't very self-supportive, and tend to weight the cup down.
