    Didn't fit

I was hoping the third time would be the charm, but I was wrong https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I ordered this custom Victoria with the following alterations: 3HC instead of 2HC; overlapping gore; 3x4 hook closure; straps moved in 2cm; cookie pockets; no eyelash lace. Sadly, the 3HC cut from Comexim is a shape mismatch for me. The 70HH had the right volume at the apex, but the band was too loose and the wires were at least 1/2 inch too wide. Sigh. This was the third Victoria I ordered from Comexim. There's a full review on my blog comparing my fit problems with all 3.

I absolutely love the look of this bra, but the 3HC cut is simply too wide and shallow for me. This was my third attempt at a 3HC Victoria and my last 3HC. It's a lost cause. I've written a comparison review of this and 2 other Victorias (70HH and 65HH) on my blog.

Finally!! A perfectly (well... the strap position is a little bit wide and the band big though, at least the cups are) fitting comexim bra!!!!!!

I asked the deeper cups for both Elena and Rose but only this has been done. So, this is combination of 85J and 85K. The wires are the most narrowest among all of my other comexim bras and the cups are as deep as others in size of 75M/80L/85K. I wish I asked the moved in straps only.

One thing I don't like is the band size inconsistency. I have an Elena 2hc in size 85K and it stretches out to about 36"because of the double layered mesh used on the bands. This elena 3hc in size '85'J does to almost 40" and the bands are made of one layered mesh. So I need to alter the bands now. Sigh. Anyway, at least the cups fit.

And I like the fabric and details. It still looks solid and well matched with my skin tone.

    • If you get a smaller band you won't need to move the straps in because they will be narrower set. At least that's what I've found in my Comexims/Wellfitting bras.

cupandahalf That could be. So I am thinking to alter the bands near the hooks not the armfit by using a 5 hook-extender(cutting and replacing), hoping it will work. Btw the strap set is not too wide to wear, similar to Panache bra's. If the altering doesn't work, I can be still bear it. Thanks :)

@Love4pollinators Thanks! Finally! It will be easier for me to order next comexims lol.

    • I've done that too with my Comexims! Happy altering!

  4. Tropical Garden Plunge Bra (191)

    1. I ordered Tropical Garden in 65P with reduced cups, straps moved in 3cm, gore reduced to 6cm, narrowed, and overlapping; 3x4 hooks, cookie pockets, and I requested all over mesh no black section.
Appearance: it is simply gorgeous the colors are rich without being overpowering and I love how everything else is black because it creates a balanced look. I did notice that the the cookie pockets are a silky smooth material instead of the soft cotton, but I don't mind because the cups inside and out are soft.
Fit: it fits almost perfectly, the band is perfect on the first set of hooks, the gore lays flat, and ... the cup height is perfect. My only note to self is that there is 3mm of quad near the gore, so I could go up another size, but I honestly don't mind I am very center full and love low gores so I expect it. My cycle is coming soon so we'll see if it goes down, but the cup fits perfectly until it gets to my fullest point. I love this bra and plan to wear it often.

I also got the matching panties in the szorty-stringi style, which is supposed to be like the picture. They are kind of similar, but they fit nicely against my upside down 💙 shaped bum instead of loosely. I have gained 2" to my hips so I will start ordering a XL in figi and szorty for my 44" hips (39-40" hip bone) and I will also ask for high waisted bottoms.

Lenaxo I saw just one pic of a frontal from years ago where a bra reviewer had it. She didn't leave a review and there was only 2 pics of the bra in that size and nobody reviewed so I don't know who it was and how it came to be that way, so I took a shot and requested it.

  5. Honey Cookie Half Cup

    Fits

Couple of months ago I was desperate to get fairly light bra that will work with my very pale skin. It is a challenge when your skin looks almost like a milk -_-. Obviously white bras are the worst and shows under white clothes, and then most nudes and beiges also are tiny bit too dark. Luckily Comexim realeased lovely Honey Cookie (as this is the original name!) in very pale beige, nude - call it whatever you want.
My recent Comexim orders are mostly bras made into 3HC as they give lovely round shape, small cleavage and fit me better than 2HC and plunges. Ive requested this ... bra to have straps moved in (which was done) and cookie pockets (which Comexim forgot to do....). When the bra arrived I was soooo annoyed. I was gapping half size on my smaller side and tiny bit on the larger side - my assymetry isnt very big. Ive requested cookie pockets as I needed 1 cookie on smaller side, and empty pocket just to minimise the depth so the larger boob could fit. I was going on and on with Comexim about this issue, however I didnt want to return the bra as I was in need for it, so I was just using EM pad under smaller side. Comexim finally offered to send me pads that can be attached even if you dont have pockets! nice solution, but actually pads doesnt stick that much to this certain bra. Recently my boobs grown a bit (I dont think i put on weight overall - maybe boobs only *_*). Now the bra fits without cookies and the bigger side has tiny quadboob. The bra is quite shallow but still little projected - thus probably I get these quadboobs. Wires are bit too wide - so i should bend them a little when Ill get it in my hands again.
Band is firm size 70 and even if im wearing it 3 days in a row I stay on the loosest set of hooks. Its very comfy, doesnt dig into my body and stay put on for the whole day.
As I have mentioned before, Ive ordered this bra as 3HC, so the lace ends little above the cup. After few wears and washes and with these small quadboobs it doesnt look very good, it just rolls out. I believe it should be replaced with a ribbon instead or the lace should end exactly with the cups. Also its worth mentioning that this bra wont work under very thin tops as the lace is thick and noticeable. Im okay to wear it under my white shirts and thicker tops but light tank tops shows the lace a lot.

Ive ordered also matching panties, theyre so cute! However there was no time to use them as im wearing mostly dark trousers and dresses, but when the summer will come Ill make a use of them!

  6. Graffiti Longline Plunge (466)

    Didn't fit

This bra is a bit of a frankenbra. I ordered it with the following alterations:
    Added cookie pockets
    Lowered gore
    Narrowed gore
    Overlapping gore
    Straps moved in 4cm
    Cup height reduced 3 cm
Made using wires of size 65P bra

Overall, these alterations worked really well for me (yielding a narrow and projected bra, with a width of 16.5cm and a depth of 35cm). Unfortunately, I've had a lot of growth lately, and this bra with these alterations fits probably about two or three cup volumes too small for me.

To start with the review: this bra is much softer than I had expected. I'm not quite sure what I was expecting or how its even different, ... but the whole bra just kind of gives off a softer vibe. The bra itself has much more immediate projection than I usually get with the longlines. The biggest downside to the fact that this bra is a longline is the fact that the band isn't long enough to hit the bottom of my rib cage. Since my ribs are flared out, the band rolls up. I wish the band was longer to sit below my bottom rib in the front. The band on this is pretty TTS and comes with a 5x3 clasp. It's hard to say about the cups, since I've never ordered a bra in this size with these alterations before.

I don't like the bottoms as much as I had hoped to. The front of them is basically non-stretch, so they're not super comfortable and everything digs in more than most of their other bottoms. I also think the elastic is firmer. I'm not sure if they also sit at a different spot in the back, or if I just notice it more since it digs in. You do also definitely have to be careful doing the zipper.

Overall, I really like the look of the set but there are some issues with the fit for me

I feel nothing. Yes, NOTHING! I have never owned the bra that fits 95% and feels like air!
The bra is used by 1 or 2 girls before but it's in excellent condition. It's so light - none of my padded Comexims feels that light.
The band it's definitely stretchy because it fits me well without digging in and feeling it tight on the loosest set of hooks. Also I love the idea of 3rows - maybe that's the option I should be getting now?
The straps are moved in so they work perfectly on my small frame, they're fully adjustable and soft as I love.
The wires are so ... soft and feels (or rather I can't feel them!) great.
Cup depth is good as well - tiny quadboob on bigger side but nothing major to make me annoyed
The bra supposed to have reduced gore and cups I think this is done as the cups are like my 70F standard plunges which is 1 cup smaller as a sister size, so it doesn't affect me actually
Overall I'm very pleased with the bra!
Also I've received my blue BiuBiu dress thy someone shortened and it's also great! Just little too loose but would love to get another one!

I love this bra!! After a few trials and errors, I'm pretty confident that I will be able to order pretty much any set comfortably.

Appearance: this bra has a black base that is covered in a powdered navy lace with a coppery-pink floral pattern that is continued to the wings. The straps are black with embroidered edges and continue on the top edge of the wing to the hooks and eyes. To complete the look, small bows are located on eack strap and at the top of the gore. The inside is all black.

Alterations: I ordered this bra in 70N with overlapping wires and reduced cups. I had ... the gore reduced, straps moved in 3cm, and 3x4 hooks. I also had cookie pockets added.

Fit: The pockets add an extra level of comfort to the bra that anyone can appreciate, even though I hadn't needed them. Yes, the fit is that good lol. The extra cm I had the straps moved in really helped me feel more relief from the weight of my bust. The band was perfect, so for any bra with lace/mesh wings I will use 70, but anything else 65. The 3x4 hooks I can leave, but I keep them just in case of unusually tight band or longer wear. The reduced gore and cup are something I will never change due to my high set bust and love of cleavage. I find my ideal gore to be of 6.5-7cm.

Gina Szorty (L): These are gorg and are my favorite style!! They have the same powdered navy and coppery-pink pattern. The back is see through, but the front and crotch have a soft black lining. These are super comfortable and not scratchy. Since these don't have an elastic band on the leg holes they feel true to size and don't dig. So I will stick to L in szorty, L/XL (for elastic) in figi (brief), and M in stringi (thong) because my bum is not included. I have a 43in hip (includes bum) with a hip bone of 38in (no bum included).

    • I'm glad you enjoy your new polish bras ! May I ask if you could add a picture of the overlapping wires ? I'm still wondering if that alteration could be useful for my so much narrow close set

    • Pinklady sorry for the long wait time, I'm out of town and I don't have that particular bra with me. However the overlapping gore just touches at the top so it is narrower then goes back to the regular width, so if you like taller gores you might need a narrowed gore instead. I just posted an adventure about that. I will add the link

Yay! My Comexim bra has finally arrived! I fell in love with this bra after seeing lcl0706 's review of it, but I waited a month before ordering..and then a month and a half later, I received it!
I did order some customizations. A * denotes that I'm not sure if the alteration was applied.
    -Extra reduced gore
    -Reduced cups*
    -Straps moved in 1cm*
    -Narrowed gore*
    -3 hooks
    -Thicker straps
    - Cookie Pockets
It gives the most amazing lift, and I get fabulous cleavage, which is partially due to the cups being too small. I may have to try future Comexims in 55J as all of the 55HH's I own are a smidge too small.
This is exactly the kind of bra I need though. Vertical seams, low(ish) gore, and thick straps. The wires are medium narrowish and slightly stiffer than the plunges I own. Pretty overjoyed as I got this custom made bra for only $38 shipped. I will definitely be purchasing more 3HC cuts in the future.

Beautiful! :) Oh I'll need that extra reduced gore as well, great idea! :D

    • 1

      Nml817 My thought exactly. :-)

    • 2

Yes that was the only alteration I *absolutely* needed to get this :) The others are a bonus haha. Tall gores are uncomfortable for me since it sits on my breast tissue and can get itchy or really painful.

    • Ooh it's pretty Noob . I would say if the reduced cup was done, you don't need it and do a regular 55HH. If it wasn't done, do a 55J. The verdict is out on whether Anna will reduce half cups. But reduced cup + moving the straps in will make the cup fit like the next size down.

    • 1

Oooh, so pretty! It's almost like a half cup plunge hybrid with the gore reduced like this. Seeing this, I might try this alteration on a 3HC too in the future, it might be the way for me to have a Comexim plunge without ordering an actual plunge model (the really don't work for me).

I have an unaltered 3HC Poison Ivy on the way. Seeing this makes me really look forward to getting it!

    • Please indicate the customizations on the alterations field of the bra. You'll find them when you add the bra to the site or later on the measurements screen. It is important so measurements aren't confused with other alteratoins.

This bra is really pretty in person! The colors are super bright and fabric is silky and soft - much softer than some of the other Comexims I've owned. I ordered this through Zathiya and had some alterations made to it - I had the gore raised to 3", the straps moved in 3cm, and the cups reduced. The bra fits but does not feel very supportive. The band is EXTREMELY stretchy. It's possibly the stretchiest Comexim band I've ever tried. And the straps are also insanely stretchy. For these two reasons I am uncertain as to whether or not I'm going to keep it. I can't return ... it to Zathiya because of the customizations, but I may decide to list it on here.

The other thing I noticed is that the wires are much wider on this bra. It doesn't affect the fit on me but I was surprised to see this on a Comexim bra.
Also, there is a very slight odd smell…. kind of like plastic. Not sure what that is. You can't smell it unless you put it up to your nose … but I'm weird and smell bras/clothing when they come in the mail lol.

    Cons:
    Very stretchy band
    Very stretchy straps
Cups too low (I really shouldn't have gotten reduced cups, but I was experimenting with customizations and fit)

    Pros:
Vibrant Colors (really a great summer bra!)
    Soft, Comfortable fabric

My Dottie has a rather stretchy feeling band and straps as well. The band while feeling stretchy is pretty TTS, and can feel a bit tight at times, I think the elastic is less stretchy than the fabric portion of the band. The straps are mildly irritating because I have to adjust them a couple times throughout the day, but since they are easy to adjust it doesn't really bother me.

    • I wonder if the straps are the same - the Dottie had bright pink straps too, right?

The band feels TTS on this one too - and it doesn't ride up on me at all. I think I'm just used to bands that are more firm. I feel like the band would be comfortable on me… but I know the straps would drive me crazy. I always hated adjusting the ones on my Free Time bra constantly.

    • 1

Yes the straps on Dottie are bright pink as well. They are narrower than straps on most my other Comexim's as well 1.4cm compared to 1.8cm on others.

    • 1

I just looked at the photo of the Mixed Colors and they look like the exact same straps.

For a while Comexim's bands ran a bit small and I almost feel like each order I placed ran tighter than the last) but the most recent ones people have been getting seem to be running much more true to size or even large in some cases

But I really like how the bra looks much more than I did in the stock photos! The stock photos almost gave it a swimwear vibe

    • 1

kermitdafrog21 That's what i thought too based on their website photos.

I wonder if you could ask for textured straps instead of those awful slippy ones instead.

    • gratiat - I think you can ask for different straps. I forget who it was but I remember a Bratabase user saying that they'd made that request before.

I probably should have done that with this bra since I prefer their less stretchy straps with the texture on them.

    • 1

I'm not sure if you're thinking about reordering and trying again, but if you are I think the straps from Allegra (grey) or Mint (seafoam/mint) would work well with the other colours in this bra.

    • 2

I got the dark green straps from Lilou on this bra. It's a no charge swap.

    • 1

Omg. I love the colors. I wish. Ordered it now. I ordered the snake, and didn't want 2 similar bras.
      Too bad it doesn't fit.
The band on my Eris seems stretchy although I'd consider it tts.

    • 1

Does it have only one layer on the band? If yes you can request to add the extra layer of mesh - I did that with my last order as I have Sonia with 1 layer and I hate it comparing to other bras. Also yes, the straps can be changed for any that you wish :) and im the opposite as I hate the textured ones and I love the soft ones and i never had to adjust them while wearing - maybe some of you just tighten them too much so they just trying to adjust themselves to the length properly?
Btw looks cute but I know that I won't choose this bra with my next order - too much is happening on the bra ;)

I just received this bra from a swap, I had been looking at the Dottie every time I've ordered from Comexim, but never ordered it, I guess I thought the bold colors weren't practical or something. However when the I was offered it on a swap, I jumped on it. I am so glad I finally got this bra, not only is it super cute and girly, but it is a perfect fit. I haven't had it on long, but it instantly gave me the feeling of being made for my boobs, much like my AP Lady Grey Sophistcate. Like the Lady Grey the ... Dottie also utilizes a thinner strap at least in this size. I wasn't told of any alterations, but my guess would be this has had the straps moved in because the strap placement in quite similar to other Comexims and AP's that I have the straps moved in on. I wasn't sure about the thinner straps when I got my Lady Grey, but the combination of thinner straps and having them moved in is really nice especially if you've been wearing a bra with wider set straps and your armpits need a break. Whenever I place my next Comexim order I will definitely be getting matching panties for this bra, it is too cute not to have matching undies. I actually think this print would make a really cute swimsuit.

I will get around to measuring the Dottie tonight, I like it too much to take it off and do it right now.

Update: I absolutely love this bra, I am about to place a Comexim order soon and I emailed them because I was wanting to get some AP bras and needed pricing. I mentioned I wanted to get a Dottie thong and I just heard back that they are out of fabric. If anyone has Dottie panties in good condition they want to sell I would buy them. Medium would be ideal, but could work with Small or Large too.

Very useful review, especially being able to compare the regular cut with reduced cups. I've just ordered my first Comexim plunge, asking only for cookie pockets to be added, as I wasn't sure which, if any, other alterations I might need. I seem to be a similar size and shape to you, so it's very handy to know that reduced cups are unlikely to be a good match to my shape either. Thanks for sharing this!

    • 2

      alexad You're welcome!
And yes, I think my biggest issue with the altered cups are that my fullness is all in the centers because I'm conical/tuberous.
I think ayone who has lots of fullness all around might be alright with that alteration, but otherwise it takes the center depth near the gore/coverage there away.

Good luck with your order! I hope it works out well for you :D

I have trouble figuring out where I have any fullness, as I don't seem to have any at the top, or bottom, and I assumed that centre full meant a lot of cleavage, which I also don't have (although I'm close-set). What I do have is a rather conical shape, so all my volume is in the middle of my boobs, but I have little overall fullness - could that be described as centre fullness, or am I misunderstanding?

    • 1

      alexad I don't mind at all! =D
I honestly think the term is used by people to mean both. I may be mis-using it, but I describe myself as very center full and your shape sounds very similar to mine.

I'm a bit more tuberous, so my shape is pretty much as narrow and projected as you can get, but I call that center full a lot because I don't have your typical FoB or FoT shapes. I basically have almost no bottom tissue and very little upper tissue.

When others say center full however, I usually think they are talking about how much tissue they have towards where their bra gore would be. =)

    • alexad Actually, now that I think of it I probably use the term interchangeably hahaha

    • I wish you could edit on these because I keep hitting the "add comment" before I'm done. Dx lol

Anyway, I think instead of saying center-full for how much your boobs stick out, "projected" is probably more accurate. =)

    • Thanks for your reply! I felt a bit bad for bothering you with something so trivial once I realised you were dealing with some health concerns at the moment (hope things are improving now?).

But anyway, I think we may indeed be quite similar in shape. I'm pretty much all central projection (which, because I'm so pointy, also equates to immediate projection), and I have wondered whether I might have mildly tuberous breasts, although I've never sought a medical opinion on that.

I also don't know whether I'm becoming more narrow, or just beginning to recognise how narrow I really am - the wires of almost every bra I own in the correct volume seem to extend quite some way beyond my roots. So, I really think Polish is going to be where it's at for me.

      Thanks again!

    • 1

alexad Aww it's really np at all! I think I'm ok, things haven't been as bad for about a week now. :)

It's hard to tell when it comes to being just mildly tuberous. I couldn't tell for a long time if I was sagging or tuberous, and then I realized that my breasts don't really lie below my IMF at all, so definitely tubey!

The wires are where I have my problems too, and it's actually causing a bit of indecisiveness about my size right now. 30E FoB/even bras work depth-wise, but 30D-DD wires are best. I have Comexims in 60F-65E-65F-60G right now and they all basically fit somehow.

Anyway, but yeah, I'm sure Polish will work great for you! :)
The next best that I've found fit-wise was Fauve Grace.

    • 1

I'm glad things are getting better - the pain sounded awful!

Yes, I'm self-supporting too, so I've never been sure about being tubular, as the definition often includes being pendulous, but I guess with a mild form that might not always the case.

I generally use depth as the guideline for sizing, as I think that's the crucial element for me. I can wear wires that are a bit too wide without any issues, but not having the right depth (usually corresponding to 30E) is a deal-breaker for me, as I need this to get a pleasing shape.

Thanks for the tip on the Fauve Grace - I'll see if I can track one down!

I'm aware this is quite the highly sought after bikini. It was sent as a replacement to the Orange one they ran out of fabric for. Typically quality Comexim fit. Lovely pattern, if you're into that kind of thing. The band is super tight and the cups feel smaller than my Pin Up Girl. The bottoms fit great right out of the bag. I feel like a weirdo, because this pattern is just not my style... I suspect I'm in a small minority here. Full review on the blog.

I do love the print. I've been looking for a fun one piece though and there are so many more blacks and navy out there than anything else

haha I love that print to death! i dont wear bathingsuits, let alone bikinis. actually, wonder if I still fit in to my older suits?

JulieCS They previewed it a while ago, but actually ended up deciding not to sell it. I don't know if they still have fabric for it left, but for a while you could order it by email. If you're interested in it, I'd email them to see if you could still order it!

This bra that I thought was the "one that got away" is actually in my wardrobe! I don't care if it's a tad too small in the cups and a bit too loose in the band either...it's mine, it's gorgeous... And WOW, the Comexim's 3 half cup looks fantastic on!

I love the bottoms! This makes me really excited for mine to get here :)

    • 2

Ahh, I'm so envious - sadly I missed out on both Irish Coffee and Sonia, my two favourite Comexims!

    • 2

alexad I'd email about Irish Coffee! The bra isn't on the website but the bottom is, so when they emailed me to tell me that they were out of fabric for the Noa I ordered, I asked if there was any way they'd have enough Irish Coffee fabric left to make me a matching set and they said yes! I figured it was a long shot, but I've been eyeing it for a while so I decided to try and see lol

    • 1

Thanks, kermitdafrog21! But dang, I'm currently waiting for an order, and I really should wait for that to arrive, so that I'm sure which size to order...

    • 1

Looks great! I'm still sad my Irish Coffee wasn't a half cup like I requested. Wouldn't fit me anymore either way though. :P

    Didn't fit

FINALLY I have got this beauty in my hands!
I know eberybody is been saying this, but THIS COLOUR!! I LOOOOVE IT SO MUCH!!

First things first: This band is SO tight!! I have to wear it with a full extender!
But outherwise it fits great. It feels much smaller then my 60HH charme, but this way it gives more cleavage https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> I don't think it's gonna be my everyday bra, as I like to have some more room and immediate projektion in the cups.

I asked them to make me the matching bottom the same style I got the victoria figi. I am not ... a huge fan of this figi to be honest. I just think the material isn't made to be bouble layered. Anyway I know this style is comfortable and fits me so I'm fine with this https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

edit: I got it with straps moved in, reduced cup hight & centre gore and overlapping wires

edit edit: after wearing it for some time I must say this beauty doesn't really fit me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Its a tad too small and I'm falling out at the centre!

  16. Rita Plunge Longline

    6
    like

    70N

    Fits

My Comexims are finally here! I'll input my Charme later, though the fit is pretty similar (with the Charme having maybe a teeny bit more cup volume, though I wish it was the opposite since I ordered the Rita with cookie pockets!). For now I'll start with this bra.

I ordered the Rita in a 70N with the following alterations:
    Reduced cup height
    Raised gore
    Straps moved in
    Added cookie pockets
    Made into a longline
    Extra column of hooks

The reduced cup height definitely works well for me. I don't have the strap gap that I experienced in the Sonia (disclaimer: Sonia plunge is my only unaltered Comexim, so I'll be drawing lots of comparisons to ... it). The cup height was mainly reduced near the outside of the cup, though I'm not sure how much of this is due to the fact that I raised the gore as well (which kind of makes it hard to reduce the cup height near the middle).

The raised gore also works really well for me. I don't have the same sense that I'm about to fall into the middle that I had with the standard gore height. I think that it works because I'm not super close set and don't have tons of inner fullness. It makes the bra fit more like a balconette, which tends to hold everything in a little better for me.

I'm unsure as to whether or not the straps were moved in. They look like they're placed similarly to my Sonia, which was unaltered. I'll probably have them moved in a little more next time, but they work well enough as is.

I haven't tried this bra on with pads in the cookie pockets yet, but I'm glad I added them. There isn't really ever a downside to adding them, so I've added them to all of my Comexim orders (except the Charme because I forgot). I'm hoping that I'll get a little more oomph with pads in, since the alterations I requested make this bra fit less like a plunge bra (which means I lose some cleavage).

I was nervous about the band of this bra fitting since I had had it made into a longline. My ribcage is flared at the bottom, which I didn't consider until well after I had ordered the bra. I was nervous about it being too tight at the bottom, but it actually fits me really well. I almost wish though that it was a bit tighter at the top. It's not loose enough that I want to wear it on the second set of hooks just yet, but I think I will have to move there sooner than I'd like. The band measures at 32.5 stretched, which is a full inch larger than my comfortable rib cage measurement.

I guess its a good thing that I ordered an extra column of hooks! This bra has 3 columns of hooks with 5 hooks per column. Hopefully the third column of hooks will give me a little more wear out of the band.

Now for a few more technical notes that aren't related to the alterations I requested. This bra seems to be narrower and deeper than the Sonia plunge bra. The depth could be due to the fact that this is one size larger (and that likely is why), but the narrower wires aren't what I expected. I tend to do better with narrower, more projected bras though so its perfect for me! The ribbon on the top of this bra also makes it more closed on top that the Sonia, so if you're fuller on top or have taller roots, this might be something to take into account. I love this bra though!

Also another little side note, I did order the bottoms as well. I would probably have done better going up a size, but hopefully the material will be a bit less firm once I wear/wash them a couple times.

    • 1

      So beautiful!!

    • Looks great! Did you order from Comexim directly?

    • 1

BumbleBean Yep! This set went on sale after Valentines Day so I decided to get it lol

    • 1

Awesome! I haven't ordered directly from them in so long, so can I ask a few questions? :)

      (1) Did you place an order on the website and write notes, or did you email your order?

      (2) If using the website order, did they send you an invoice for any additional charges (like for the longline)?

      (3) Did you communicate in Polish or English?

Thanks again for your great review and pics! We are nearly boob twins, so your thoughts are very helpful. :)

    • Love the longline look so much lately. What a wonderful detailed review .

    • 4

BumbleBean I've now done a couple different orders (I actually ordered this set and the Charme set separately about a week apart) and then I also have a bra order and then another order with a bathing suit in progress. What I did for orders was I emailed them each time I wanted to request something different, just to make sure that it was something that they could do. They usually respond pretty quickly, within a day or two during the week. Then once I got confirmation that it was something that they could do, I ordered on their website and put the alterations in the comments. For the longline, after I paid I just sent the extra 20pln in a separate Paypal transaction after. The first time that I emailed to ask them about some alterations, they told me to place the order through their site and put the alterations/size in the comments, and gave me the email to send money to (I think it is just sklep@comexim.pl).
I have always emailed in English and just kept it short and to the point (Hi, would you be able to make *insert bra here* in a size *insert size* with the following alterations: *insert alterations*). They've never seemed to have an issue with my emails.

    • 2

Thanks for all of the info. Back when I ordered a lot, you HAD to write in Polish, but I've heard rumors that writing in simple English is okay now. Glad to hear it's true!

    • kermitdafrog21 it seems as though your 70N long line is close to my plunge, but I had a reduced gore and cups, so I'm not sure if I can really say that a long line plunge is shallower than a regular plunge. We'll see as I have placed my order for a Gina and Audrey set in 70N last week I will keep you all up to date.

    • 1

MissAponii Yeah I don't have an unaltered Rita to compare the two. But relative to my unaltered Sonia plunge (which I have heard runs a bit shallower and wider than some of the other plunges), I observed the following differences:

The cup height in the middle was much higher due to the raised gore.

The cup height by the strap was a little shorter, though actually not as much of a difference as I had expected. I guess its probably hard to reduce it too much given the extra gore height.

The straps are also noticeably wider set than my Sonia, despite requesting to have them moved in. It felt this way when I tried it on, but I just held the two on top of eachother to compare and the straps were basically entirely outside of the straps on the Sonia.

The wires were narrower, which was not what I expected given that the Sonia was a 70M and the Rita is an altered 70N but its a plus for me.

The cup was more projected (despite the narrower wires, there was about 1.5cm more of depth).

    • Oh my God, I wish I have this one ! But I have a question, did the longline style was an alteration you asked for ? Because on the website, the rita (and other bras) are not proposed in longline style.

    • Yes the longline is an alteration I requested. Long lines are the only alteration they charge for, it costs an extra 20 zloty

    • Comexim doesn t stop to surprise me ! Do you know if there is à limiter to how many altérations they can do on a bra ?

    • * a limit

    • Pinklady There's no limit to my knowledge! This bra had 6 alterations and they did them all lol

    • Amazing ! And how dis you know you would need reduced cup and straps movec in ?

    • I ordered on unaltered one prior to ordering alterations. But I have pretty narrow shoulders and very short roots, plus most people in my size range order a reduced cup height because I think Comexim scales the cups kind of strangely.

  17. Brigitte Half Cup

As usual, I have another custom Half Cup from Comexim. It is a 3 part cup (a must to allow for enough projection for me). In the half cup style, Anna removed the pink ribbon that so many of us that owned Brigitte found to cut into our tissue, causing some serious fit issues. Instead of the ribbon, I have a delicate pink lace lining the tops of the cups. Review coming on the bloghttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Tanzilove, how do you order the 3 part cup? Is it only for larger cup sizes? That does look marvelously projected. Comexim bras have been fighting me lately.

    • 2

This gives me hope, that I might be able to get an 80K or L of the half cup....

    • 1

I asked about a 65M half cup and they said they do it so I'm sure you should be able to too Hootymyboobs

    • 1

Ditto PetiteCollegiate - Tanzilove, how did you get Comexim to do a 3-part half cup? Is it just for larger sizes or did they do it custom?

    • 1

PetiteCollegiate , Hootymyboobs and jennyanni , I believe that in larger cups size, it is automatic, but I always ask just to make sure. I have to email my orders in because of the size. Most of the bras I want are not offered on the website in my size. I just email Anna, let her know what I would like to order and give the alterations for each bra. I can never order Comexim bras "as is" the Plunge style is too tall for me, and for some reason, I always end up with a lot of extra material on each side of the gore in all Comexim styles, so I have her reduce that as well. It took a couple orders before we got it right, but they are pretty perfect now. :) Some styles that are originally Plunge styles, they will not make into a half cup, only because the style itself won't hold up in a half cup cut.

    • 1

I want to try a half cup because they are reported to have more bottom projection and I fold over in the plunges I have tried. CHP is the closest Ewa cut I've tried, but the model I tried was too small and 80H's never appear.

    • 2

I too am finding the 3 part half cups to have more projection than the plunges or single seam HCs and they, along with EM's CHPs, are becoming my go to bras.

    • 1

I'm surprised so many of you found the 3 part half cups more projected than the plunges! I tried one and it was very shallow in comparison to the plunges I had. But it was also a much earlier model. Maybe they've perfected things a bit more. You are all tempting me to try one again! :D

This bra is GREAT! I have wondered for quite some time why bras never seem to stay at the base of my root, and it appears that Comexim has the answer! The wires line my boobs perfectly! When I take the bra off, the wire lines are right at my root, which never happens! The cleavage is amazing, discreet, but there if I wear the right shirt. And the outline it gives my boobs is perfect. I've never had them look this nice. Also, it is so pretty!

It gives the comfort and lift of the hand bra, and literally feels like it was made for me. It feels well constructed and sturdy, while also being comfortable. I am in love with this bra, and might have to actually buy a second so it wears out on me less quickly. It is so wonderful!

  19. Free Time Plunge Bra (270)

I adore this bra. I'm not sure how else to put it haha. It's the best fitting Comexim I own. The band is definitely stretchier than others in this size. I could put it on the middle hooks but I'm trying to stick with the loosest as long as possible.

The website pictures don't do this pattern justice. It's much cuter in person. I love the contrasting bow, the plaid, the navy. It's so soft and comfortable. I wore it all day yesterday with no problems. The gore definitely tacks, in contrast to my Poison Ivy. I feel like it keeps everything where it belongs. The wire width is perfectly narrow and the cups are the lovely, projected but uplifting, rounded cups Comexim is known for. Zero complaints from me.

Oh my gosh all the hype about Comexim is totally deserved. Vivien is the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. It's like a beautiful boob hug. I was really unsure about sizing for this, but the 60HH fits perfectly. The band could be a bit tighter for me, but it's definitely a true fitting 28. The lowered gore, cups, and moved in straps work perfectly on my petite frame. Everything is comfortable and there's no gaping. The three hooks in the back help add to comfort. The gore on this is very comfortable, even though it's higher than I thought I liked. Everything feels very supported and kept ... in place without being crushed anywhere. The silhouette is rounded and uplifted.

The purple on this is a million times more gorgeous in person. Ihis is very comfortable, even though it's higher than I normally like. This bra honestly feels like it was made for my breasts. I've never had anything like it. I'm going to end up giving Comexim all of my money as soon as they're back from vacation. I love love love this bra.

Seems like everyone is loving Comexim right now (including me). They're going to have a lot of work when they return!

    • I loved this bra in a 60H, think I am going to reorder it in a 60HH with straps moved in and reduced gore. Did you ask for 3 rows of hooks, too? PetiteCollegiate

    • This bra was originally from kerniss! She would know the specifics of the alterations. I believe the 3X3 hooks are not standard.

    • Hi! I had requested reduced gore, reduced cups, and straps moved in for all bras on that order. I actually got a 3x3 hook back that I didn't ask for on all of them, too, which was pretty nice! : )
