  1. My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.

So this bra fits pretty well!! My previous review of the other size is here: http://bra.pe/X0Xk/

My shape: close set, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.

I ended up going to a 32 band to be comfortable and I can wear it on the second loosest hook which is great since there are still two more tighter hooks for the future.

The cups fit well and gives a nice profile under clothes, looks projected and rounded, very perky. The width seems to be great for me ... and the top of the cups is not closed, nor is it open, so I feel it works well. Sometimes when it’s too closed, it cuts into my soft tissue, and when too open it just gaps too much and I hate that. It can gap ever so slightly on the outer upper part of the cup (near the straps) depending on how I move my torso, but it's barely noticeable very minor that it doesn't show or annoy me. The gore is comfy (yay!) and tacks. Doesn’t bother my close-set breasts. It's lightly padded, so no nipple show-thru. You can see the seams of well-fitted shirts, but I don't mind.

Other things I love: the straps are nice and wide and the band is U-shaped in the back and has 3 hooks which feels so much nicer than having 2. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with this bra.

Edited to add: After having this bra for a while, I can confidently say that it's an awesome fit for me. After adjusting the hook closure and straps, the wires follow and stay closely under my IMF. Also it's super comfy, I'm so impressed by how "soft" it feels for all day wear.

Yay for a win! Glad this one works better. It looks great on you!

      Hooray!

    • 1

Is this an upcoming style? It looks great and if so, I will 100% be ordering it

    • 2

It is a Breakout Bras style. Not sure if it’s an exclusive or not.

    • 1

This looks gorgeous! I love the colour!

    • 1

Thank you Calluna I also wanted to say I tried out the Curvy Kate Ellace bra you suggested and it's pretty awesome as well for my shape. 😀

    • Thank you xuenylom On their website it says it's exclusive to Breakout Bras.

    • Thank you Sonya

    • 1

I’m glad that the Ellace worked out. What size did you get?

    • Calluna I tried the 30F first, band was way too tight (painful even!!) with an extender, and when I tried it upside down couldn't keep it on for more than 15 mins.

So I returned that and ordered both 32E and 32F, the F is too big, wrinkling on the inside of the cup near the gore and top lace part is somewhat loose. The 32E is much better, the lace cuts in just a *little*, but I'm not too bothered since it's not very noticeable. I love the firmness of the band, it makes me feel very supported. I added measurements, but I will try to take some pics and review each this weekend hopefully! 🙂

    • 1

Awesome. My 30Es were really tight but I was ok using a row or two of extender, but it was also a bit small in the cup so I’m sure that was part of it. I don’t know if I should go 30F or 32E for myself. I’m not sure if I can do a 30FF or 32F. I really want to try a different size though, because I did really like the immediate depth and shape, as well as the light feel. It’s also a bit classy without being granny.

    • Calluna I agree, it looks like nice classic bra, not granny at all. I think if you like a snug band, you will probably love the 30 size more.

    • I have a 28” under bust but need 29” to be comfortable and supported. My 30Es only stretched to 28.5” so I could do them up but not wear them for a long period. I definitely needed at least one row of extender hooks. I think that I would probably be ok with the 32 because I have a good rotation of bras that it would not stretch out too fast even if it was on the middle hooks straight away. By your measurements, the 32 band is probably ideal in this cut.

This is a lovely shimmery silver bra with a purple undertone and darker silver accents. Cups are narrow and projected and the fit is TTS.

    Didn't fit

My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.

This bra is so pretty and it fits relatively well in the cups. Only thing is the band is super tight! I don't have a 3-hook extender to try this on with, but I did order this same bra in a 32F. In that one the band is fine, but the cups on that are too small, so I think if I exchange these for a 32FF it will be good! 😃 I'm excited this fits well.

Although it looks like a pale blue on Breakout Bras' website, the fabric is a true ... gray color, has a satiny feel, with a little bit on gray lace on top. The gore feels nice, doesn't press or hurt, even though the band is tight. The cup doesn't give me quad boob and the sides fit well too. I also added pictures wearing a t-shirt, and I think it gives off a nice shape.

Edit to add: I added this bra to that database, so hopefully I added it correctly!

I love the color! And I agree it looks good on you. I hope your exchange fits perfectly.

    • 1

I thought it was blue based on the Breakout Bras page too. Hopefully the 32FF will work.

    • 1

Thank you MamaPagan Calluna I almost just want to stitch an extender to the strap, lol, but hopefully the 32FF will do the trick!

    • 1

Love it!! Looks great on you in this colour!

Looks great, good luck with the 32ff!

I love the shape and projection. But my breasts are spilling out of the top. Three hooks in the back gives a lot of support. Would you suggest I go up in cup size?

    • Model is Celebration. It’s a Breakout Bras exclusive.

    • 1

Thank you! Calluna I bought mine from Poshmark .

    • Is 34F your normal UK size? If so, definitely size up. My friend is a 34F and got her bras (3HCs) in 34 H. That said, plunges tend to fit bigger than 3HC so 34GG UK would be like 75J I think. But judging by the amount of spilling, I’m not sure if you need to go up that much. Sorry for the confusion. It’s tough because Comexim is scaled by 2cm per cup size increase instead of an inch which is 2.4cm. So cups are going to fit small. And the cup progression is EU so they have no double letters except for HH instead of I. So the bigger size you are, the bigger the cup increase you’re going to need.

    • It looks a little bluer here, but this is it. Bottoms are also available. braluv has one of these if you wanna switch your data to the proper bra.

I was just trying these bras based on my measurements and to get a starting point. I have lost 20 lbs in the past 6 months and trying to re-figure my bra size. I am not sure my regular UK size. I do understand your point and appreciate your input. If I use index sizing. I may be 34:8, 34:9, or 34:10, would you agree?

    • 1

Thanks again Calluna I corrected it when you informed me the first time :)

    • Are your measurements on your profile up to date? I’m guessing that you probably need the equivalent of 34:10 in this but 34:9 might work with a little oomph spilling. 😂

    • Edit: I misread the index size. I think maybe a 34:9 index would fit.

    • I just updated my measurements today actually. Not sure how that translates into my index size.

    • 3

I would size up one, but probably two cup sizes in this. You can buy this at breakout bras if you live in the us and they have a great returns policy and good customer service.

    • 1

Agreed with cupandahalf you might be able to get size help from them too.

This bra doesn't seem to be suitable for those with wider roots or more projection. The wire won't rest in my IMF and there's gapping by the straps at the edge of the cup by the gore, but the very front of my breasts appeared flattened, like they were being pressed against a window. I had spare room near the straps even when they were as tight as I could bear, so this bra is not for those with short roots. The gore floats a solid inch above where my actual sternum is.

The actual construction of the bra is good though, and it's nice-looking. I can imagine this being an excellent bra for someone shallower and narrower than I am. Oddly enough, the only size this bra lists on the tag is the UK sizing, 40HH. Maybe it's something to do with it being a Breakout Bras exclusive?

This is another bra that I picked up from Breakout Bras. It's a standard plunge cut, with overlapping wires at the gore. The colorway and design is exclusive to Breakout Bras, and it is a beautiful cool purplish grey. The styling is very similar to the Breakout Bras' version of Magic that I also own, but the upper edge of the cup is lined with soft black and white knit lace, and the center gore and straps are trimmed with two toned grey ribbons. I have owned some plain grey t-shirt bras in the past, but I've never had anything like this. The ... fabric is the same power spandex blend as used on the Magic, which is reminiscent of American Apparel Disco Pants.

The fit and specs are identical to the 60G/28F Comexim Magic that I own, except that this band is 1.6" smaller and has only 3 rows of hooks instead of 4. I can fasten it, but it's quite tight. It also only has 3 sets of hooks rather than 4 on the Magic. I assume this will stretch out to be more comfortable, but should be fine with an extender. However, because of the tightness of this band, I can tell that this cup size is indeed a cup too small for me.

In the 60G/28F Comexim Magic, my larger side showed overflow when scooped, but it fit the smaller side well. The cups fit perfectly if I don't scoop at all, but I can tell that the wires are too short for me at the sides as I get a bit of underarm bulge. However, in this even tighter band, the small cups create a bigger problem. I cannot scoop in this bra at all since the band is so tight that there's no room for scooped tissue to go. Unfortunately, I picked up both of these bras from BB on sale, so 60H/28FF hasn't been an available option.

I am happy to keep both bras as they would fit me if I lost some weight, or if I simply don't S&S.

    --------------------

Update: Since I have received my 60H bras now directly from Comexim, I can confirm that the main problem with 60G is that the wires are too narrow and small for me, and the cups are slightly too shallow in this size, but the 60G cup height and strap positioning is better for me. Looks like I'll be going the custom route from now on to order custom lowered 60H!

    Fits

Bought from Breakout Bras, so the tag is in UK sizing and reads 28FF.

This is a great bra for my narrow/tall roots, even, center full, projected boobs. The wires sit right in my IMF with no extra space even on the sides. The only fit issue is the band - it's much tighter than any other Comexim 28/60 band I've tried, verging on uncomfortable. It's totally wearable with an extender though, and will probably stretch out. Other than that, it's a really comfortable bra.

This bra also gives a more rounded shape than my Comexim Basic Plunge or Gloria plunge, but not quite as round as by Belle de Nuit plunge. It also gives me the best cleavage of any Comexim plunge I've tried. The fabric - a beautiful mid-grey, edged with charcoal lace, is gorgeous (and invisible under most shirts!).
