Brings the girls up to new heights. Material is a bit scratchy. The seam for the underwire on the right side has a weird sharp edge that cuts my arm every time I try this bra on. I can't decide if it's tight or if all the bras I've owned up to this point have just been too loose in the band. I think I could go up a cup size if they made a K.

Not sure why everyone keeps insisting this bra is great for immediate projection, unless we have very different definitions of the concept! The gore and straps were too wide for me and I had lots of wrinkling and straining at the bottom of the cup. It's one of the most shallow-at-bottom bras I've ever tried! In fact, it forced my breasts up so high my nipples were practically staring at the ceiling! I'm seriously baffled by all the recs for it for people who are FOB and need massive amounts of immediate projection.

I could see it offering a really nice, forward-facing shape for someone who's not quite so ... FOB/immediately projected, but it didn't work for me at all.

I also purchased the matching briefs in 16/XL. They fit similar to a US 16/XL, maybe on the 14/16 side. I am on the 16/18 side of 16, and they fit me comfortably but gave me a muffin top. I think the problem was with the cut, but a 2XL might have fit better if a bit more covering across my butt.

This bra would be very good for full on bottom shapes. It has lots of projection, but is very closed on top. I wasn't a fan of the torpedo shape it gave me. Or of the underwires that insistently poked my armpits. I hear if it fits well it gives a rounder shape. The materials were nice, though, with mesh on the bottom of the cups and lace on top.

    • Yes, the bullet shape is quite clear, compared to the Marcie and the others you reviewed. I don’t mind a pointy shape as long as it tacks! ☺️

I tried the Cleo Hettie first, but it was a shape mismatch. Too closed on top, giving me a torpedo shape. I had heard the Marcie needs a lot of top fullness, and I would have to agree. I can't quite fill the tops. BUT, it's close enough that I can fix it with a little tack. I'm quite happy with this Marcie in other respects. The material is a soft mesh and the cups are topped with a non-stretch lace. The polka dot pattern is subtle and cute, and the straps have ribbing on the tops for visual interest. The band seems to hold in place pretty ... well and there is still some, but less slippage out of my IMF.

The Marcie and Hettie are able to hoist my heavy boobs for good uplift. The Marcie gives a nice round shape. (Looks like a kidney in the dusky rose https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_neutral.gif" alt=":|" /> ) It gives almost too much vavoom for me - my boobs are higher than I'm used to for sure!

I will either keep this one or exchange it for a different colorway if I can find one in my size.

Unless you need the bra wires to be that wide, I bet you could size down one cup size and still be comfy. I find Marcie to be quite generous in the cup in this size range.

    • Oops! I didn't mean to submit this as an adventure. Seems to be no way to delete, so enjoy my bland review! :)

    • cupandahalf Thanks for the tip! I have free returns on this one from Amazon, so maybe I will try it a cup size down.

I thought I'd try this as it is known to run large. It does, but not enough to fit me. I was surprised that the band ran so tight. It fitted like a generous 34K in my opinion. It gives good uplift and a very upfront rounded shape, with a lot of projection. It felt comfortable when trying, but I'm not sure if having only two hook and eye closures woud prove uncomfortable in the long run, as I am sending it back.

The bra fits me & is comfortable for everyday wear but the band is too wide near the side of my armpits for my taste.

This bra has the combination of rather wide wires and rather deep cups that I need for my projected breasts with a lot of tissue under the arm. Overall the fit is pretty good, with a band that's a little snug for me at first, but which promises to even out with time. The wires are tall enough on the sides, and don't pinch, unlike my 34J Marcie. The fabric is not particularly stretchy, with a top that may not be as forgiving as models with a soft lace upper cup, but it is quite lightweight. The colors are pretty and the design is serviceable, if nothing to write home about. Gives me the forward-facing, rounded but not quite spherical shape that I love about Cleo bras! As always, I would love to have 3 hooks, but the 2 that Cleo provides are quite stable.

I think the 36J Marcie is about as close to perfect as I'm going to get. I might try it in a 38J to see if that will help stop the wire from poking into my sides. It might also help if I pull the underwire up further in the channel on the sides (and lower in the center gore) so it doesn't end in the middle of my side boob.

The shape I get from this bra is fantastic! And it's the first bra I've owned that doesn't slip down my rib cage as soon as I put it on--it sits right where it's supposed ... to and holds my breasts where I like them to be. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> And best of all, it doesn't quadboob on my full-on-bottom-and-also-on-top boobs. Well...it doesn't quadboob *much*...it fits my smaller breast but my larger one is always SOL. And even the slight quadboobing on the larger one isn't really noticable, it's miles better than my other bras.

Aside from the pokey underwire, there's one other problem: the straps. They're too far apart so they fold in on themselves in a weird, mildly unpleasant way. However, this is a structural issue for all bras that fit me reasonably, including my other Cleo and my Ewa Michalak. I don't think there's a solution to that issue because if the straps were attached closer to the front of the bra rather than towards my armpits, it would sort of divide my not-so-firm breasts and press the outer portion of them into my armpits rather than toward the front. I believe this is an inconvenience those of us with very large breasts just have to deal with when it comes to bras that fit. Just my two cents.

The general consensus is that Marcie is good for full-on-top shapes, but I also recommend giving it a try if you're more even shaped but somewhat projected. Wish it came in a JJ.

    Fits

After some mishaps with the Cleo Lucy and Lana bras, I've finally found the Cleo for me! The fabric pattern and embroidery are unlike any bra I've ever worn before. Even though I wouldn't choose it if other colors were available, it's a great change from the black, beige, and white bras that dominate the market for large sizes. Just beware: it shows through thin fabric.

The absolute best thing about this bra is that it puts the girls front and center, which has the fantastic effect of slimming the torso. AND, the lift and support are amazing. This bra truly makes it feel like ... having very large breasts is a blessing and not a curse. As it should be. I get a wee bit of quad boob on one side when I pull my shoulders back, but that's a given since one of my breasts seems to be a full cup size larger than the other.

And did I mention this bra is extremely comfortable? Well, it is! It miraculously doesn't slide down my chest during the day, which made my realize that I have a habit of constantly checking my bra, even though I don't need to with this one.

What makes the Bella work so well (for me, at least) is that it's quite *deep* in the bottom and open on the top. So this one is good for those who are "full-on-bottom" but can't handle a bra that is closed in on top, like the Cleo Lucy. I don't know how the Bella would compare to the Marcie because I can't find one in my size.

One thing to be aware of is that the band is rather stretchy, so if you're between two band sizes I'd recommend going with the smaller of the two, even if it means wearing an extender. I'm a true 36 and am already on the second set of hooks. after just a few wearings.

This bra is very comfortable but you will jiggle jiggle jiggle when you walk. The straps and band are very stretchy. I'm already wearing it on the middle set of hooks after 3 wears. Now the cups fit a bit differently then when I originally purchased the bra. I now have lots of wrinkling at the top but it is not noticeable with a shirt on.

Due to weight gain, I ordered this bra in a 36J instead of my usual Cleo size of 32/34J. Happily, for my ego, the bra is too large. Both the cups and band seem exceptionally stretchy.

Overall, the bra is lovely though the cups are a bit stiff. The shape is similar to the Alexa and I think the projection will be very forward and supported, in the correct size. I’ll be exchanging but wanted to post the measurements for this one.

This is the best bra I've ever seen for breasts like mine.
Although wire is too long and I have it almost on my back, the bra is low cut at my armpit and my breasts in it are very high.

    • Hi!, are you sure you got your measurements right? It says that the 36 band bra fits a 78cm back. I think that for a 78cm back a 32 band might be a better fit.
