God, I wanted to love this bra. And it fits in the cups -- and provides a lovely shape.

It's wide enough, and the top lace just sits on my breast.

    The gore tacks.

However, even with a 32 band, the bra fits easily on the tightest hooks and even then puts too much stress on the straps -- and my shoulders. Enough that this bra is not wearable to me at this size.

  2. Juna Balconnet Bra (6461)

When I put it on, I thought it was too good to be true.

The band is tight enough. In a perfect world, it would have run just a smidge tighter, but it's a minor quibble. (I just need to start on the middle hooks to get an ideal fit. But it's a close enough fit that I will be happy to alter the band a bit once it's stretched.)

The cups are wide enough -- seriously, like someone measured my left boob and then made the underwire custom. I am not even exaggerating, y'all.

The gore tacks. It is beautifully narrow.

The cups essentially fit. There is ... a teeny bit of quad boob at the top inside corner of my left (larger) breast. But with the cup's open construction, it just kind of sits there under the lace (it's not enough to push the lace out of position), with no particular need to *be* anywhere else. There is some gaping in the small cup, but given the padded material, it's actually not enough to warrant using my insert (and using my insert on the small side is the rule rather than the exception).

The left strap is comfortable. The right is a tad uncomfortable because I shorten it, so it rubs against my armpit. (Maybe I will try it with the insert after all, just to see if it alleviates that problem.) Originally, I was concerned that the partially adjustable straps didn't adjust quite long enough. Which is probably still a valid issue for some folk. However, for me, tightening the band a notch rectified the situation (so I felt like the band was doing more work and the straps doing less).

The material is soft and comfortable. The seams did not show through my thin tank top today.

Also, after a full day's wear, I am more impressed with it rather than less. There were times I became literally unaware of either the weight of my breasts or the fact that I was wearing a bra.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner.

I wanted to love this bra.

For starters -- shape! For second -- purple!

And a lot of things about this bra are very close. But alas, it is not to be.

The band is secure and stable on the loosest hooks, so that's good.

And upon first appearance, the cup seemed to fit well. There was some slight quadding, and I thought the wire might be too narrow for me, just a touch, but the overall effect was awesome.

Then I wore it for a day.

What I've discovered -- At the very least, Lucy is *way* too closed off on top to work with my breast shape. ... (I'd call it "even," but I seem to be having better luck with cuts that favor fullness on top, so.) Not only do I spill out the top, but the top of the cup also "traps" more tissue inside that wants to get out. I end up pushing against the bottom and the side of the cup, which both pinches and dislocates the cup.

So I have a Cleo Marcie and a Cleo Juna on the way to help determine whether this is primarily an issue of shape or an issue of size.

    Fits

Well, Cleo has definitely done it again! Yet again, they've made a beautiful bra with a beautiful fit. This has to be one of my favorite bras of all time!

Appearance/Feel - This bra is adorable. And cheerful too! This bra features a bright blue base with a bright multi colored allover print(are they berries?). The top of the bra features a red lace with cloud (!!!) embroidery. This bra is perfect for those tired rainy days when all you need is a pick me up. And this bra accomplishes that! The bottom cup of the bra is a smooth and shiny laminated material that is thicker than ... the likes of the Marcie bra.

Fit (Band) - The band on this bra sadly only has two hooks to it. If Cleo has one imperfection, it's that their two hook design is used all the way to their biggest cup sizes. The band on this bra I would say is pretty firm, but I like my bands to fit a little looser and plus, I'm in between band sizes.

Fit (Cup) - I would definitely say that this bra is a little different from most other Cleo bras. The cups seem to be narrower than most Panache/Cleo bras, thus giving a more front and center "projected" look. Some have said that this is Cleo's most "torpedo" looking bra, but this bra gives me a very round and uplifted profile.

Overall - I love love love this bra. I mean, just look at it! This bra worked perfectly for my full on top, medium root boobs. I highly recommend it!

Bought this one from a fellow Bratabasian. Cut & sized like the Juna (which I like very much) but suffers from the same issue as my Panache Andorra full-cups: the wires seem a little too short for the channel resulting in a weird crease where the fabric pulls the underwire channel towards the front. In the Andorras, I thought it was because the cups were too small (they are) but the Darcy fits better, so that's not it. I don't know if it's just this particular bra, or if this is a common condition in the Panache line; it is much less significant on my Juna's. Other than that, it's cute, comfy and surprisingly practical given the busy colorway & lace along the top of the cups. I like that it's lined, gives good shape, feels supportive. I wish it had 3-4 hooks & a tad more lift. Could do with an HH maybe.
    A keeper.

At first this bra didn't fit, but after wearing a properly sized bra for about six months, my breast tissue migrated and it actually fits well now. The wires are a bit high, but after wearing it for a while I stop noticing them. The shape is natural and fairly front and center- not push up or cleavage-y, so it's a good bra to wear to work. As my breasts are bottom-heavy, the fabric at the top of the cups is a little bit loose, but when I'm on my period they get big enough that the fabric lies flat. The material is a little bit stiff/scratchy. I feel like it could be softer, but maybe after a few washings it will soften up.

This bra is very comfortable. The cups were soft and well shaped. The band wasn't terribly tight, but I went with a different bra of the same brand in a 34 with a smaller cup because this bra only comes in hot pink leopard print, and I needed something more neutral.

I quite liked this bra - gave me a fantastic shape, but after scooping & swooping, I was quadboobing in it - cups were a bit small. The band on this was snug, but still comfortable. Loved the way this bra looks - bright and colorful https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I like the shape Alexa gives my boobs. They're nicely projected, sloping towards the center yet not very pointy. But the size and shape of the cup is wrong for my full on bottom, soft breasts. The cups are wrinkly all over, but not because they're too big but too small (not deep enough) and if I sized up I probably couldn't fill the top at all - and the wires would still be too wide.

The straps are too wide set. And the band has stretched out. I can easily wear it in the tightest hooks, yet even my oldest Tango Ii Balconettes in 32 band are almost too tight.

My guess is this might work for people with fuller on top or balanced breasts, wide shoulders, possibly with V-shaped ribcage.

    i love this bra.
i wasnt sure if i liked the appearance, when i ordered it, but i got it for about 10 pounds on asos. but wearing it, it looks really really pretty. i really like the tight band (i normally wear a 30HH in cleo) and its just such a comfortable cute bra.

    12.03.2013
i think the band has streched out quite quickly, im now wearing it on the second or third hook and ive only worn it about six times so far

This bra actually fits me fairly well. My only problem with is so far, is that the fabric is kind of irritating on my skin. I wonder if this can be fixed with a few washings?

I get no quadraboob, a nice shape, good level of comfort except for the fabric... Really I think this one fits!

The underwires might extend a bit too far along my sides, but I don't find it too irritating. I am going to try wearing it after a few washings and see how it is then.

Good everyday t-shirt bra, but with a few flaws. As many people have mentioned about this and other Cleo Juna variants, the lace along the top of the cup does not lie flat when the cup is the correct size. Also, the straps are a bit wide-set for me, and rub along my arms. The cups seem to run true to size, and so does the band. The wires do not poke. The fabric is soft and smooth, and the light lining/padding makes it comfortable to wear.

Im normally a 30H/30HH/32H and this bra is too big in the cup, im not even sure if one size smaller is gonna fit me. shame, its such a pretty, nicely made bra!
i can close the band on the tightest hook, not sure if thats because its too big overall or if i need a smaller size.

the first time i saw this bra i knew i had to have it! i love the print, its so pretty! i would say it is similiar to rihanna and ellie but the cups are a bit different, kinda higher on the side, on the armpit, which is better for my armpit fat. it makes my boobs look a lot bigger than they normally are though (bigger than the rihanna and ellie as well). i havent worn it a lot yet so i cant say that much more about.

i really like this bra, although the band could be tighter. i would have bought a 30HH but as the rihanna only goes up to a H, thats not possible. apart from that it is a nice bra and gives me a nice cleavage and it hardly shows under a tank top (which is always a plus!)

Very pretty, but the mesh is a tad itchy. My larger breast was not quite fitting in the cup. I think there is also a slight east-west issue.

This is a nice bra. I feel the cups are on the verge of being too separate for me. Also, the cups are a bit too small for me. The fabric is lovely and comfortable though!

I also think the band is a bit too long for me and I really need more than just two hooks at the back for more band stability. The band just keeps riding up in the back.

    Just not for me.

This is such a pretty bra, but it just doesn't quite fit me. My breasts are quite wide, and the underwires don't quite capture all the tissue; meanwhile, there's definite wrinkling of the cup at the top.

It starts the day feeling pretty comfortable, but by the afternoon I can feel the underwires digging in to my underarms.

BLACK 32H - Lovely fit, very rounded shape thanks to the vertical seam. I only tried it on quickly as I have the Cleo Ellie which is the same cut/fit and I needed a plain black one. I will probably end up buying one in the beige colour as well.

  20. Ellie (6611)

The greatest fitting bra I've ever worn. I read that Ellie ran a tad smaller in the cup, but had a stretchier band. My underbust is 33" so I went for the 32 band and I'm so glad I did. I wear it on the loosest hook but some days can wear it on the middle hook comfortably firm. The band never rides up now as it does on my 34" backs. The cut of this bra is beautiful, a very rounded shape, and I love the print. The only hang up I have (and I think this is just the brand in general) is that the cups sit quite wide, seemingly wider than a Freya 34G I own... not to the point that it's uncomfortable, but there is no way I could go a higher band size which I may need for less stretchy materials in this brand.
