The unpadded, unlined Cleo Bella Balconnet Bra surprised me. Bella pushes the girls very front and center. Looking at the bra's front view, you can see almost no side bulge from my boobs. That means more volume near the center gore. My Fauve half cup bras similarly create a lot of volume in the cleavage zone, but most half cup bras I've tried do not. Cleo Marcie doesn't, at least on me.

The thing about Marcie that is unusual for a balconnet, at least on my wide rooted, somewhat shallow shape, is its semi-spherical profile. Before I tried on Bella, I thought its profile would resemble Marcie's. I ... have many half cup bras, partly because I like that very rounded profile.

You could describe the side view as pointier than Marcie's but you could also describe the effect as one of superb lift and projection. I have a lot of half cup bras, so I'm used to that very rounded, somewhat minimized side view. Bella pushes my breasts out and away from the body.

I tried this in a 32E because the Nordstrom Rack I visited didn't have 30F. I'm returning it because I can comfortably wear it on the tightest hooks.

Wow! I gotta say, this is the most comfortable and cutest bra I own. The fit is good, the construction of the bra is great (my boobs are definitely front and center), I have absolutely no complaints. Well, one minor issue; occasionallyi get the tiniest bit of quadboob on my larger side, but I think that's more of a soft breast tissue moving around issue than any real problem with the fit.

This review is for the white Lucy. Fit is exactly the same on me as the yellow, with the exception of the band. The band on the white feels just a smidgen tighter, which is good.

Both of the Lucys I have are easily my most comfortable bras.

I found this bra to be really uncomfortable. When I bought it, I was definitely a 32E, but the underwires poked horribly after a few hours. I only wore it twice, but the second time, the gore left blisters on my sternum. I learned an important lesson that day about wearing new bras to work on days I might have to work long hours...never do it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

I've been curious to try this bra ever since I discovered how well my navy & pink 32E - Cleo » Lucy (5851) fits me. Unlike the 32E Cleo Lucy (but like the 30F and 34E), there is in-cup quadboob. The lace at the top is also floppy (which I guess means Cleo Marcie wouldn't work for me). The gore is also a little bit wider than the 32E Cleo Lucy (see comparison photo; the average measurements here are incorrect).

I'm not too hot on this color scheme. Fuchsia, orange, and mint green is a strange combination, imho. I'd prefer it were only fuchsia and either orange or mint green. There is also way more embroidery than Cleo Lucy, with more and larger flowers all over the cups, and the top lace has a cool but complicated pattern that will surely show through fitted, thin shirts.

Hello, Bradilocks! So nice to meet you after all these years. Your younger sister 30F - Cleo » Lucy (5851) was a little too small in the band, and your older sister 34E - Cleo » Lucy (5851) was a little too big. You are just right! Band is perfect, lace is perfect on my left (larger) breast with no gaping, and... no in-cup quadboob! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":O" />
I love this navy and pink colorway, and I'm tempted to order a dozen of these and not worry about bra shopping for a few years.

Update: I can't stop staring at my profile ... every time I pass something reflective. This bra gives me the boobs I've wanted for the last 25 years. I just can't believe these are my real breasts in an unpadded bra.

Update 2: This bra has magic powers. Unlike my pink and white 30F and berry 34E, it does not have in-cup quadboob. Ever. Even at that time of the month, or when I put on a couple of extra pounds. It is always round and smooth and perfect.

I found this bra at Nordstrom Rack in my sister size (32E). I am normally a 30F. Unfortunately, the band was too big. The lace was wrinkled because I did not fill the top of the bra enough. Also, I think the bra might be too narrow for me - looking at the pictures, it seems like the sides cut into my breast tissue. I also think that the bottom of the cups are too narrow, causing an "orange in a glass" issue. It's too bad, because the bra is VERY cute. I love the red lace on top. I will search for this in my regular size to see if it fits better - but I am afraid that it still might be too narrow for me.

The 32dd caused quadboobing and seemed too small. This one seemed to fit perfectly when I first put it on, but as I wore it my boobs sunk down into the bottom of the cups. Also the cups are very tall and when I sat down and slouched, the tops of the cups would fold forward and make a weird and noticeable shape under my shirt.

The width of the cups is just right but they're too deep and there's some gaping at the top. I haven't had the chance to try this in 32dd. I got a lot of wear out of this bra before the fit started to bother me, but now I don't feel supported in it. The band feels very firm and hasn't stretched out at all.

my go-to bra right now. I've had it a few months.. My current bra collection is two bras since I'm in the middle of some weight loss with still about 15lb to go, so I'm not sure where my size will end up. I previously thought I had shallow breasts (I guess I do.. but I guess they're closer to 'average' than shallow) and bought this bra because it was recommended for those with shallower breasts. I've never been able to fill out the bottom of the cup, and when I shove the underwire up so that it meets perfectly with the bottom of my breast, the bra moves itself down over time. it feels somewhat tight sometimes, though. I've never had quad-boob with it, but its right on the verge of being too small for me, though I feel an entire cupsize up (32F) would probably be wayy too large. overall it's a comfy bra and worth the purchase if you definitely have somewhat-shallow breasts.

I purchased this bra because it was on sale at Bravissimo. I got a 32E size because I was mislead on the "translation" of bra sizes between French sizes (I was fitted a 85F in a Freya full cup bra) and UK sizes. I should have got at least the 32F instead !
When I received it, I was really happy about the fresh, bright color of this bra, even though I was a little nervous about it showing it underneath tops...

But when I tried it on I was super super disappointed ! I know it's part my fault for getting the wrong cup size but this bra gave ... me a major quad boobs effect. Apart from that, the band was snug but not too tight, supportive, the fabric is really light-weight and soft, sheer but not transparent. I don't think the pattern will show underneath a top.
It gave my boobs a nice round shape, and the straps don't seem too much stretchy, and stay in place.
What I really like about this bra too is that the underwires are not hidden in fabric excess that can rub against my skin and turn under my boobs... those are covered in just the right amount of fabric (that is not itchy). Plus the wires don't poke my arms (nor does the central gore).
Overall it feels like a comfortable and good-looking bra, but I can't say that for sure as I just tried it on for 5 mn...

I am sending this one back sadly but I will get it (in purple) in 32FF as I think 32F won't maybe get all of of my boobs inside the cups...

This bra was very comfortable and quite pretty, but was just a touch too small. Apparently, it is designed so that the lace doesn't lay flat when it is fitting correctly, which confused me. Also, this is a poor design choice. I'm going to try the next size up and see if that helps.

At first I thought this bra fit pretty well, but after wearing it for a few hours, It became very uncomfortable. The straps rubbed my arms just above my arm pits and the wires started digging in. Turns out it was too small. But it is pretty.

The construction is very nice and the design is very pretty (I have the navy/pink colorway). I would prefer a higher wing and more hooks. The cups are wide, which is good for me, but still too deep for me near the center. I have very shallow boobs so this is probably good for others. It gives a nice shape.

I'm pretty much at the start of my properly-fitting-bra saga, so I'm still working things out.

I've only had it for a few days but so far it seems pretty good, despite the gore being a bit too high, and even then it isn't causing any actual discomfort - I can just notice it sometimes if I shift in a weird way. I bought it online at Nordstrom on sale, and they were out of my size so I went a band size up. If I use the smallest set of hooks the band fits just fine and doesn't slide up while I wear it.

My left breast ... is larger than my right one and top heavy whereas the right is fuller on the bottom, so I'm typically prone to quad-boobing (or I guess it's tri-boobing in my case), but it only happens in this bra if I bring my shoulders back further than I do when standing normally, so I think I'm okay with it. If I went up another cup size my right boob would be drowning in it. And if I hunch my shoulders forward there's a bit of a gap on the outside of the cup, more noticeable on the right of course. Since I don't walk around like that typically I don't think I need to worry about that (but correct me if I'm mistaken!)

This is my first bra that doesn't have a molded cup, so I don't know if this is how they all are, but I really like that on the outside edge of the cup, the fabric continues up maybe half an inch further than the wire does - I feel like it holds me in, but having the wire extend that high would definitely be uncomfortable.

I don't know if it's going to stretch out/how it will wear with time since I've only had it a few days, but I'll come back and edit it all in if it's necessary. Overall I'm a fan :]

I don't feel like I have boobs when I wear this bra! That's saying something, too, because the cups on this bra are probably a size too small.

When I first bought this bra, it felt too tight for the first few days. It's absolutely perfect now, though. So it must have stretched a little.

It gave me slightly pointy shaped breasts, which I'm personally not a big fan of. They aren't like cones, though, so I can live with it. I do have issues with my nipples showing through if I wear it with only 1 layer of clothing.

I've found this bra material to be stretchier than most, and therfore, looser than I would like. I usually wear something like a 30F, but bought this in a 32E because many of them feel a bit too tight. That was a mistake, as I'd prefer a 30 in this for sure.

The bra feels lighter weight than my other moulded-cup / T-shirt bras, which I like.

The color is really nice, some combination of red, coral, and hot pink. (Not a true red, so don't expect to be able to match it with anything). Straps that were once a very light silvery blue have since trurned lilac/lavender from washing with red clothes.

Own in black, nude, plum, and petrol. Can fit whole hand under band, but doesn't seem to ride up too much. Get quadraboob when pull all breast tissue into cups, otherwise I get some back fat escaping from the back of the cup. Also, puckering at the bottom of the cup.
