This band runs snug! I wonder if I got a mislabeled bra, as most Cleo's are not this tight. Anyway, I think Cleo's finally got itself a more shallow-friendly plunge bra. The shape it gave me reminded me of the Freya Deco (4234) (cleavage!). The coral is a lovely shade, and there's a sweet double bow at the center gore.

Currently the most comfortable bra I own - great for even/projected shapes with a need of narrowish wires, I would say. I really love the Lily in general. While this seems to be comfortable and loves my armpits, however, it does have wrinkling that I wouldn't expect in the cups, but I don't think it's enough to justify purchasing a size up or down as far as cup size goes.
Lily is made of a pretty nice mesh, I would say, that doesn't scratch/irritate. It's a million times softer than any Claudette I've tried, and probably twice as soft as the mesh used in the Marcie.
This provides a minimized, very lifted, very centered shape. I love it. Can't get enough of it.

Looks beautiful. How is the gore width for you?

    • 2

Thanks Love4Pollinators ! The gore width is narrower than the Marcie, so I find it more comfortable, personally. :D

My lily parrots has been a work horse. I only switched to the second hooks after a year. I've had it three and it doesn't get all the love it used to since I have more options now but I don't have any interest in parting with it. But please Cleo- fun but basic would be nice. I love the grey color way idea

    • 1

My parrot one has been trucking since 2014, IIRC, and it has an alteration but ugh...I long for a 30DD/32D version! If not grey, maybe just.. plain colors that are a little more neutral LOL

  3. Neve Plunge T-shirt Bra (7196)

I'm cautiously going to proclaim this size a success! It gives me a much better look under clothes than the size 30D did -- so it appears that my theory about the cup depth was correct (see my review here: 30D - Cleo » Neve Plunge T-shirt Bra (7196) ). I definitely feel, based on personal experience, that this is the bra for ladies who cannot wear the Freya Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) due to shape incompatibility.

I really like the extra coverage of this at the top too. After having kids it just feels better to keep everything held up and in, haha... even when you have a smaller chest like I do! Definitely recommend this bra but you have to be extra careful about the sizing. Remember to check the Bratabase measurements!!

My shape: average/narrow roots, tall roots, projected/very projected, immediate projection, even fullness.

This bra is perfect on me - the cups are deep, with immediate projection, and *just* wide enough. As with my 30DD - Cleo » Blake Balconnet Bra (9151), the ribbon at the top of the cup tacks perfectly against my tall roots with no cutting in.

I get a perfect round, projecting shape in this bra. It's more subtle than the Kayla in terms of its projection (and the wires are a smidge wider too).

The band is too big, but I knew it would be when I ordered it in a 32. It was ... a steal on Amazon, and I'm small busted enough that the reduction in support is no big deal. I wear this on the tightest hooks and it's fine.

The material is soft and comfortable against the skin, but is very supple/giving. I wouldn't recommend sizing down unless you are large-busted, however, because the wires do distort on this 32 band at around 32.5, although the material makes it feel bigger than it is. If you are in my size range and prefer a firm fitting band, perhaps skip this one.

Appearance - this is the cerise colourway, it's a deep, slightly dusky pink with pale pink/beige trim and hardware and a leopard print bow at the gore. I thought the bow was the same pink as the trim, but am so pleased it's not - the leopard is a subtle detail that adds some interest. I adore the look of this bra and will be trying to get my hands on a couple more because, as with the turquoise colourway, it's just perfect on me.

The wires seemed short when I was looking at it, so I thought this bra would be too narrow for me. But it feels! I guess I have really narrow roots (no breast tissue in armpits) so I think the wire placement would be very uncomfortable for someone with wider roots. I think that the lace forming a closed shape on top is great, prevents quadboob, but the lace's edge crosses my nipples which can be irritating. The straps are also fairly short. I may need a cup size up as the gore is a little bit on my larger breast and I feel like it is close to quadboob... but since the cups are pretty projected and work well for FOB, it fits well enough. Overall this is a beautiful bra that I'll definitely be wearing!

My shape: narrow/average root width, tall roots, projected/very projected, immediate projection, even fullness.

The cups on this bra are an excellent fit on me - they are narrow and deep (very deep!) where I need it, while the stretch lace top works well with my tall roots. These days I'm neither as soft nor as shallow above the apex as I used to be; if I were, I would not be able to fill out the lace top of this bra. So if you have tall, shallow roots, or are FOB, I'd skip this one.

I get a very forward projecting, round shape in this bra which I *love*.

The ... band is too big (I'm a solid 30 back these days), but I got Kayla in a 32 for less than £10 new on Amazon so I'm not fussed. At some point I'll take it to a tailor and have the band shortened, but given that I'm small busted this is not a priority.

I bought this bra because I heard that the cups are similar to Cleo Blake (my best fit, and first perfect fit). Previously I had been buying 28F/30E in shallower cuts, but I tried Cleo Blake on a whim in a 30DD and its fit on me made me realise I am a projected/very projected 30DD. Kayla is deeper and narrower than Blake, and that I fill it perfectly confirms my suspicions.

Appearance-wise Kayla is cute. I have the white abstract print with white and purple lace, it's a little loud for my usual tastes but the classic Cleo details make it more fun than fussy - neon pink scalloping and hooks, purple sliders, purple bow at gore and purple thread through the lace. Given how comfortable it is and how good it makes me feel, I'd wear regardless of appearance. Definitely a new favourite.

It's beautiful and I'm really dissapointed it doesn't fit me. I thought it would fit the same way as Cleo Minnie Longline Padded Balconnet Bra (7435) but it doesn't. At first I ordered it in my usual 30E but it had too big cups for me and also band was little bit tighter. So I tried 32D. But this doesn't fit me either. It still has too open cups for me (I would never believe I say something like that due to my tall roots) but they are also too small and the central gore doesn't tack my sternum. Cups are definitely more open on tops than Minnie's cups.
I still have this beauty at home and I would like to sell it, so if somebody is interested in Breeze in 32D, just let me know. It's new without tags.

    • I love the breeze too. But as you I need at least something like FF cups in it. It is so difficult to get in those sizes and they are quite expensive on ebay. *sigh*

    • How does the band fit?

    • Which one do you mean?
I have a 30E Minnie which fits quite okay.
      The band is quite tight.
I dont know about Breeze except that it costs 60$ on ebay.
I'd probably exchange Minnie for your Breeze. My sister wears 30DD. It could probably fit her.

    • Of course it only costs 60$ in sizes bigger than E.😑

    • Just saw someone listing it size 34E.
      Perhaps this will fit you.☺

    • Prettyncharmeuse It's 65 cm long, it could be firmer but definitely wearable for my 73 cm underbust.

My typical size is a 30E, and this was remarkably close to fitting for a 23D - yet more evidence that bra fits across brands/time are frustratingly inconsistent. The main issue was that it cut in under the arms. Really pretty bra if you're into the Rococo-era Skank aesthetic, and the single seam construction is really unique and comfy - just weird sizing. I wish Cleo would start making these again - I'd take a 30DD/E any day!

A great bra for wide root shallow boobs if you don't mind the lace at the top not lying 100 per cent flat. In this size, my sister size, the band did not stay put in the widest hooks, although I had to wear an extender with the 30DD and the band was still very tight extended by one hook (I usually extend all unpadded 30DD Cleos one hook for the first months I wear them).

I learned I can't fill out the cups at the top, and it was slightly too wide in the cups. I may need to look for a little bit narrower cup, and maybe a different size to fix the underfilled issue. I found the gore to be too big/tall for my comfort. The band was tight but not uncomfortable. The wires seemed to sit in right place.

Gore trends to be uncomfortable for me by the end of the day it is a shorter gore (which are generally hard for me find that I like) and ever so slightly shifts around throughout the day, I’ve had issues with the cups (inter like cleavage area) flaring out and have had to pull the outer fabric away from lining and toward the edge to fix it (think fixing a pair of stockings) basically after every wash, at first this was a bit large but I have since gone up about half a size in both cup and band. The straps seem a bit short compared to other ... bras, but I consider myself low set and they are long enough for me. The cups are slightly wider (or maybe just farther apart) than I need them to be so while I initially fit very well in them as my breast settle outward I get a little gaping in the center, this is something that happens to a degree in every low in the center plunge-ish bra I have tried though, my soft tissue is like putty it forms to whatever space it is in as long as the firmer tissue allows it to.

Well, it almost fit. I know I have wide-set, soft, FOB boobs with wide roots, so plunge bras usually work for me. But this bra is teaching me that I also have tall roots. The Jude looks like it's made for a gal with apple-shaped breasts; the volume is only a bit off, but the top of the bra comes in too soon and leaves a little pillow of quad-boob on top anyway. On my smaller side, there's no quadboob, but the silhouette it gives me is a bit strange, kind of like having someone else's breast stuck on top of mine. I thought the style was cute, though, and for more compact boobs it looks like a good t-shirt bra.

Thought I ordered a 30D, got a 32D. Can't fill out cups so not sure how accurate my impression is, but I feel like this one might not have worked out anyway. Cups are way too wide for me, and the gore wants to slant sideways against one of my breasts.

this is more comfortable than the pictures make it look --- it isnt too tight in the band & the straps go "long" (or low?) enough for me, since i like the band lower on my back. the cups seem a bit small in the front, but not the top. it might not technically fit, but its comfortable & i like the bit of cleavage it gives me after i scoop & swoop. was worth $4.99 on amazon!
