This bra used to fit me but the cup is too small now. Band is quite firm. Top is closed off, so not appropriate for FOT shapes, but worked well for my short roots when I was this size. Color isn't really my style, but I don't care that much.
UGH! I need to find this bra in a 28G! I got it in a 28FF, the band was a bit too tight but it was workable. The cups were a whole different story though, perfect width, but not enough depth. Now in a 30FF, the band is too loose on the tightest hook, and the cups are too wide. However they're the right depth for me, I really want to find this in a 28G, for a good price though. I got this one on sale, I could never justify paying the full price for it though.
Not the right size. Overall the cup is too big, but the bottom of the cups are too tight and not projected enough. I didn't realize this was recommended more for FOT folks. I think if it was the right size it would be decently comfortable, except for the bottom breast compression. The top of the cup is completely open, there is no point where it sits flat on my chest (which sometimes happens, even is the top of the cup is otherwise wrinkling). Gave it "okay" quality because there are some threads that are poking out, and parts of the embroidery have little tufts (loose ends) ,but the bra seems fairly well made.
It's one of not many padded bras that actually fits me quite well. There is a bit of gaping on my smaller, right breast, but it's not a problem for me at all. I can spend whole day wearing this bra. Found it perfect for summer, to match with lace t-shirt!
Fits like a 30F (I originally purchased a 30F and sized up). I have tall roots, soft tissue, moderate projection and average root width. The underwire dug in hard with this bra, which is a common fit issue for me. I am guessing it is not quite projected enough. It's a gorgeous bra! Bummer.
This bra is actually very pretty, it has polka dots and lace which I hadn’t realized when I ordered it. Unfortunately the underwire came up too high on me and the gore was painful.
I remember this bra being pretty tight and uncomfortable when I first bought it! It's definitely loosened up in the year that I've owned it - I now wear it on the tightest strap.
The shape is all wrong for me, the look under clothes is not smooth as the seam cuts too low is a problem for my center full shape and soft tissue. So I quad within the cup but there is weirdly still space in the lace for centerfullness. Idk, maybe this works for firmer tissue? The fabric is not great kind of scratchy. The underwires cannot be shaped to suit my narrow cup needs. Definitely a disappointment.
Holy cannoli! Ellis' band is T-I-G-H-T. My underbust measures approx. 29 - 30" depending on my weight fluctuations (& I have comfortably worn 30/65 bands in Cleo, Panache, Freya, Avocado, Comexim, EM, etc) but this one definitely needs an extender. The fabric that the band is made of doesn't have much inherent give, so breaking it in could take some time.
I was also surprised by the somewhat stiff material of the cups. The lace on top, especially, has zero stretch (unlike, say, Jasmine). For some confusing reason, this bra gives me a very pointy shape whereas all other Cleo's I have tried (Marcie, Skye, Lily & Blake) ...give a fairly rounded profile. I'm not quite sure what it is about the construction of THIS particular bra that gives me torpedo-boob... but it's not all that flattering. Something about my shape doesn't like this bra.
Aesthetically, this bra is stunning on the hanger. The variation of color (especially the peach, green, and shades of pink) are undeniably lovely. It's such a cheery spring/summer bra! The fit in the end, though, is subpar & uncomfortably tight. Read more 76 more words
My first cleo and the fit and quality is excellent! I'm writing this after working a whole shift and it's still super comfortable. The fabric is super soft. And I adore the colors, super vibrant. I might technically need a little more center fullness, but that's super knit-picky .
This bra was quite pretty, it's too bad that it was a cup size too small for me! I ordered a 30FF based on recommendations from new measurements after losing some inches but I think I need a G cup, alas Amazon only carried it up to FF. My only concern with going up a cup size is that I'm not sure if the trim would cut in along the top. My roots are quite tall so that tends to be an issue for me.
I love the cup width in this one! 30FF fitted a tad better than 28FF for me, but the cups would be better for someone with more breast volume - the molded shape is somewhat projected after all. There's tiny cute lace on top of the cups.
The band is thin yet feels really sturdy built. Overall nice bra.
I love the Cleo Mimi! The 30FF fits perfectly on my small, petite frame, similar to how other Cleo padded/molded bras fit me. It was disheartened after trying on other 3HC half cup bras from Freya and Gorsenia in the same size, as they all were too large in the cup and too open on the top part and too wide in the strap placement.
I find this bra to be extremely comfortable. Minus the small upper cup issue, i think this is pretty close to perfect. By the end of my 2nd day wearing it, i was notcing the upper rim of the cup protruding a bit off my breast tissue when I made certain movements. I'm not sure if this is my bra shape, or the way the bra is structured. It's made from a thicker material at top that I think that may have some trouble laying perfectly flat on some breasts. Otherwise, this bra is great. The rose pattern is adorable and it's very comfortable to wear all day. It gives a great shape under shirts.
What more can I say that hasn't already been said about Marcie? Basic balconnet, good for upper fullness, can also work for other shapes. I'm pretty even and Marcie works for me.
This one is perfect for my larger side but too big for my smaller one. It's still wearable; the wire is just slightly annoying on that side. I'm getting a 28FF soon that will hopefully be better (with an extender).
A minor thing I noticed that I haven't before is that the gore is either too high, too wide, or both. It soft-tacks and can sit painfully on breast tissue if I forget to push it back into the cups. I notice that if I press down on the gore, the cups appear fuller.
The lace and the polka dots on the cups are cute but will show up under white shirts.
After wearing it all day, I've determined it's still a bit too large for me at my current measurements (roughly 29 under and 38 over) - which is great since I'm 16 weeks pregnant and will almost certainly still grow. It's too wide for me overall, and the wire pokes my armpit on my smaller side. There's definitely still room at the top of the cups near the strap as well, but that happens to me in pretty much anything that's not a half cup thanks to short roots. I'm going to say "don't know" on comfort for now and will rejudge after I grow into it.
Edit: I don't know how often the bra was worn before I got it, but it seems like it just needed to be broken in. After washing it once, it's actually pretty comfortable despite still being a bit too big.
