    Didn't fit

When I ordered this bra, I hoped very much that it would fit me well. After all, it was regarded a good bra for shallow breasts with wide roots. The bra itself is pretty enough. Unfortunately, it's for very shallow breasts with very wide roots.

The band: It is comfortable. It seems to have been stretched out a bit from prior buyers trying on the bra. I can secure on the second set of hooks for the just right tightness, the first set for "comfort" though I find a tighter fit less stressful since it means less adjusting during the day. The 3 hooks per column is fantastic. ... The side boning is wonderful.

The straps: Very wide. Feels as if it's cutting into my chest at times, though if I place it just where my pecs meet the shoulders, it feels comfortable enough since it actually pushes the migrated breast tissue toward the breast initially.

Cups: Here's the problem. When I am wearing the straps, the cup design on the side is so high that it cuts into my arm pits and pushes some tissues under my arms rather than enclose them within the cups themselves. Moreover, when I'm wearing the straps with the gore lying against my sternum, the underwires sit nearly an inch beneath the bottom of my breasts and half an inch beyond the side of my breasts. If the underwires sit just beneath my breast tissue at the bottom, the center gore sits atop my breasts instead of the sternum. The center gore at the top of the bra itself might fit my dimensions, but the gore widens significantly at the bottom. YET, all at the same time, I get a quad-boob effect at the top.

Interestingly, if I take off the straps and fold down the top portion of the bra so that the side of the cups aren't digging into my armpits, it fits very snugly as a strapless bra, suggesting that perhaps the cups aren't too wide or the underwire too long. The center gore does feel a smidge tight, but it no longer really presents a problem. The bra fits so well that I'm tempted to experiment with altering into a strapless.

Lastly, although the bra is named a "padded bra," it's more like a spacer bra. There is actually no padding, just a foaminess to the cup.

When I ordered this bra, I hoped very much that it would fit me well. After all, it was regarded a good bra for shallow breasts with wide roots. The bra itself is pretty enough. Unfortunately, it's for very shallow breasts with very wide roots.

The band: It is comfortable. I can secure on the first set of hooks for the just right tightness (unlike the 30D & 30DD of the model I tried, whose bands may have been stretched out and hence needed to be hooked on the 2nd set of hooks). The 3 hooks per column is fantastic. The side boning is wonderful.

The straps: Very wide. ... Feels as if it's cutting into my chest at times, though if I place it just where my pecs meet the shoulders, it feels comfortable enough since it actually pushes the migrated breast tissue toward the breast initially.

Cups: The problem seems to lie with the cup design itself. The center gore at the bottom is too wide, the cups too wide as well, and the underwire too long.
If the gore lies against my sternum, the underwires sit an inch beneath the bottom of my breasts and an inch beyond the side of my breasts. The underwire seems both too wide and long for my breasts, and the cup design on the side cuts into my arm pits so that I can't raise the cups. Worse yet, eventually, the bra cup design pushes some tissues around my armpits to my back rather than enclosing them within the rather wide cups themselves. Moreover, if I do try to make the underwire sit just beneath my breast tissue at the bottom, the center gore sits atop my breasts instead of the sternum. The center gore at the top of the bra itself might fit my dimensions, but the gore widens significantly at the bottom. YET, all at the same time, I get a very slight quad-boob effect at the top because the cups are wide but very shallow. When I lean over slightly (as you can see in the pictures), the quad boob effect becomes more pronounced.

So, it's just not the right fit. Sadly.

Lastly, although the bra is named a "padded bra," it's more like a spacer bra. There is actually no padding, just a foaminess to the cup.

I sized up in the band and cup, from a 28DD, and this still didn't fit me. Very disappointed!
The straps are very wide set, the cups are quite shallow, and the band is still rather stiff.

im really confused as to why this didnt work- i went up a cup because in a 34DD both the and and cup were so tiny i could barely breath- but it feels like this 34E was twice as large in the band! even on the tightest hook, i could probably put it on over my head.

the cup was also still too small, it also felt like it was way too shallow. the wires came over almost far enough but the smashing of my breast tissue against my chest made me quad boob like crazy.i fear going up another size would render the band gargantuan, and be ... too wide in the cup. maybe a 32f would balance both, but again, its up in the air.

as looks go, the navy is very nice, but more plain than the seafoam/navy combo. the materials feel good and im sure it would be comfortable if it wee the right size. i dont know who to recommend this to, maybe someone very shallow and wide? i used to think i was shallow, but im starting to see this isnt the case.

This runs small in the cup and is not flattering. Gave me major flat, smashed look with quad boobs to boot. Such an odd fit, that I am not sure what I would try - for sure a larger band and a larger cup. So maybe a 32DD?

The color oxblood is nice - I would say its a warm rusty red color.

The seams and styling seem very cute - if you can get it to fit right. The cups are rather wide, so the straps do hit a little at the armpit line, and the cups (on this tight size) seem to fold in when I move.

aesthetically, i love this bra. the seafoam and dark navy accents are very simple but pretty, and look great against my skin tone. Unfortunately for me, the fit was insanely off. The resulting shape looks pushed up from the front, and very minimized from the side due to how the cups were flattening my breasts inward. In the pictures, the extent of the overspill/compression isn't as obvious.

I consider the band as running small because it doesn't actually reach 34. my comfortably snug measurement is 34, so usually a 34 band is fine and stretches a bit with wear. I felt like this was at the farthest it ... could go, though it may relax over time. The main place where it feels overly snug is the elastic that borders the mesh of the band, and is stiffer. It also has 3 hooks, which im not used to, and i assume makes it fit tighter.

The demi cup is something i usually go for because in anything fuller i get gaping, though because this was so small in the cups, i dont know how my proper size would look. i'd say you could safely size up at least one cup in this if you are shallow, probably more if you aren't. while wearing it i felt extremely compressed and it was difficult to breath because of how hard the cups pressed in on me. The gore digs into me enough to be noticeable and uncomfortable, and i probably wouldn't be able to wear it for a whole day. I'm not sure if in this bra its more of an issue with the bra being too tight rather than the height of the gore. Another large issue is that the straps are almost in my arm pits-and i have wide to average shoulders. im wary of a larger cup size, as i imagine it will make them wider.

this bra seems to fit strangely all around, but if i can find a larger size, i'll probably at least try it.

Edit 2/14: Alright, I tried it on with an extender and the straps were pulled even farther to the sides, so it's a no go. I'm very disappointed, because I like the shape and depth of the cups when I add the extender the cups fit well since they aren't pulled to my chest quite so hard. I'd say it runs at least one band and cup size small, and as I mentioned the straps are way wide set.

Original review: I was sad to discover this bra runs small - my other 28DD's fit perfectly and are just beginning to stretch out enough to move to the second ... hook after more than 6 months - this one is way too tight and when buckled (my husband had to do it with my arms down and breath out) it pulled the cups into my chest so tightly it both minimized and quad-boobed me. I think with an extender it might work alright and it will give it time to stretch out - maybe it just means I'll get to keep this bra even longer than normal? But I sure wish I'd known it ran small so I could've ordered a 30DD. Despite being obscenely tight in the band, it wasn't that uncomfortable. The band is very wide especially around the back, so it distributed force really well and it didn't feel as tight as it looked (I'm pretty skinny but my skin bulged around it in a very unfortunate manner). The band is very solid mesh with little stretch.
The cups seemed nicely lightly padded enough to provide coverage and nice shape.

I would say this runs about 1 band size and 1-2 cups sizes small in a 32G. The cups are wide and very shallow.
