Mostly comfortable, fits well, nice quality. The underwire stabs in the armpit really bad. So much that I can feel it pressing into my arms too when I put my arms to my sides.

My shape is narrow, even, projected with average-to-short roots, close-set with lots of upper-center fullness and soft, saggy breast tissue.
This Rive Gauche bra is not a good fit for me, the wires are too wide and the cups too shallow, and there is no room at the gore for centre fullness - the gore floats and points away from my chest. The wide underwires are rubbing under my arms and are uncomfortable. I'm disappointed at the poor fit for the price point of $120 CAD. Good thing I can return to amazon.

Although the fabric is soft, the trim detail on the outside edge of the cup irritates my arm. Also, the wire is wide enough to fit my wide root, but it does not sit flat against my skin. So the end of the wire rubs my arm.

Comfortable, soft lace cups with a round shape. Comfortable band even though it rolls a bit. Bumpy fabric shows through t-shirt.

I love this bra! It fits well, it's very comfortable and even a little bit fancy. But unfortunately I think I've sized out of it. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

Full coverage cup. Very soft which makes it super confortable. Band is also very stretchy so the 34 feels like a 36.

I’ve had this bra for ages... 4 years, maybe? I honestly don’t even remember. So my measurements for it may be above the average for this size, but the band has always been very stretchy. You will probably want to size down in the band and up in the cup. (I believe when I bought this one, I ended up buying my normal size but wasn’t wearing it on the loosest hook.)
This style is more narrow in the wire than my Chantelle Parisian Allure Lace Plunge Bra (2231) so it’s a good choice if you have a more narrow breast root. It follows my shape better ... behind the breast and doesn’t sit back too far under the arm. The gore is a little wider than what I need, but it’s not uncomfortable. It touches breast tissue, but it tacks, too.
This is a pretty bra that lasts for a long time, and it creates a natural, rounded shape. The lace is smooth under most clothing. The top part of the cup has a little stretch, which is great if you have soft tissue, breasts that fluctuate in size, or one breast that is larger than the other.
I can currently wear the 75H on the tightest hook or my old 70H on the medium hook, although I think a 70I would actually be perfect for me right now, except that I don’t think this bra is available in 70I.

The band is VERY stretchy. My measurements for this bra are probably bigger than the average because I’ve had it for a couple of years, but the band was always stretchy. Definitely size down one band size.
Once you get the sizing right, this is a comfortable everyday bra, and it’s pretty. The gore is a little bit wider than what I need, but it’s not uncomfortable. The straps are fully adjustable so they feel more relaxed than styles where the front of the strap is firm. The cup is not firm but does give decent support and create a natural, rounded shape.
The cups are more narrow in this Rive Gauche bra than in the 75H - Chantelle » Parisian Allure Lace Plunge Bra (2231) so it’s a good choice if you have a more narrow breast shape and want something appropriate for daily wear.

ABOUT THIS BRA
An unpadded, seamed, full cup, underwire bra with top stretch.
This is the Chantelle Rive Gauche with the 3-part cup (3281), not the Riva Gauche T-shirt bra.
Purchasing: Purchased in black for $58.96 using Amazon free Prime shipping & returns (not Amazon Wardrobe). Available in black, beige, and peach only. (Other sizes have fun colors.)
Band, strap, and cup construction identical to 32E (70F - Chantelle » Rive Gauche 3 Part Cup (3281)), except fabric colors (black outer fabrics with beige linings).
ABOUT ME: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts
* average projection (not shallow or very projected)
* average-set (one finger width of space between breasts)
* ... wide roots (extend to the mid-axillary line)
* even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full)
* short root height, average vertical placement
* mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away)
* conical shape (but will squish to round)
* full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue
* petite (5'3") so have narrow frame
* front (anterior) rib flares
FIT:
Band rides up. Wings too short -- flesh escapes (but not painfully pinched by upper arm).
Gore is comfortable, tacks, good spacing, height fine.
Straps are NOT too wide-set and adjust short enough.
Tail of Spence (ToS) is visible, smooth (not bulging) and happy (no painful cutting in but outer cup).
Cups: Wires enclose all breast tissue but cannot keep it inside the cup (probably b/c band is too big so wires not well supported). Upper cup is smooth on larger breast with tiny wrinkles on smaller breast (acceptable, if this was the only fit issue). Bottom of cup and apex are filled nicely (not too shallow at wire or apex).
Shaping: From the side, give an acceptable lifted, projected (good, not great), and slightly pointy shape. From the front, gives a wide (east-west) shape.
Appearance under Clothing: Seams show through a thin tee-shirt (despite marketing of smooth seams). Invisible under a boat-neck. Under a sleeveless shirt, the edge of the wing peeks out of armhole and straps show on shoulders.
ASSESSMENT & PLAN:
* Tried this model because it is recommended for average projection and center pull straps. I choose this size (UK 32DD, EU 70E) based on Bratabase measurements (cup width = 5", cup depth = 9").
* I agree with these recommendations and measurements.
* Also tried +1 cup size (UK 32E, EU 70F) but the poorly supported wire (band too big) allowed boob to escape under the wire (in the armpits) making the cups appear too big (but borderline quadding when all boob inside cup).
* Band too big, cups fit, straps fit, tail of Spence happy. Want to try in 30-band, but not made.
