    Didn't fit

The Sadie is a 3 part cup true balconette style. Very shallow at the bottom and sides and very very roomy on top. The bra does not have a full band. I never got along with these types of bras in the past. I'm not sure why but I guess it's that they are just very shallow at the bottom of the cups and I need room there. There is barely any room in the lower cup, I couldn't fill it. The bra is made in a traditional 3 part cup construction, a true balconette style. Very shallow at the bottom and sides and very very roomy on ... top.

The shape is very projected and uplifted, this is due to that the lower section of the cups is really tall, the tallest I've seen on my all my Bravissimo bras yet and that helps lifting up the boobs very much. Also I think that the lower section has to be this tall so that the bra is still supportive despite the thin stretchy lace in the upper cup that doesn't do much.

Talking of the lacy top section, the lace is stretchy, there is no lining (yes in all sizes up to K-cup) but there is this annoying plastic band at the edge of the cups that just cuts in unflatteringly. Oh btw it's nothing like the Jasmine, feels much more sturdy and supportive!

So the 32K was a decent fit at the time, band felt tight, cups had the right volume but the shape was not good for me. Also it did not feel comfortable, looking at how the straps cut into my arms.

    • Wow that is really shallow! I haaaate the elastic strips on cups. They just cut into my soft tissue. Love the red on you. I still really like the look of Sadie. I have an affinity with the name, too.

    • I wonder if the shallowness is common on all bras with no full band? I usually avoid them so I don't have much experience with them. I wonder if it was intentional I mean that they made it so it gives maximum uplift by pushing the boobs into the upper section of the cups? Because on the Panache Jasmine the lower section of the cups did not do much to keep my boobs close to chest and supported and I don't want to talk about that flimsy lace on top. Jasmine is basicaly wires and straps torturing me but no decent support. Sadie is better in that so I guess it was intentionall so the bra is more supportive than other similar styles.

    • The elastic strip did cut in badly it doesn't even show as much on the pics but I hated how it looked.

  2. I have short roots, v wide full all over boobs, close at top and splayed at bottom. This was one of the few bras I actually liked out of the tons that were given to me to try in store. But unfortunately the band seems to be too weak. I tried it in 36J H and HH and every time I hear an awful tearing sound coming from the hooks as I fasten the band on the loosest... not good at all. I can’t remember if I tried the 38 now.. i tried on so many But I am thinking a bigger back may compromise lift and support? ... I will try it anyway but seems to me it’s just not a strong enough bra for me. I think it would be good for someone without any back fat lol.
Anyway the pros: it is very pretty, pushed boobs together giving good cleavage and good lift. There’s no padding but still gives a rounded shape although very slightly pointy to but also quite perky. It’s a shame.. I don’t think bravissimo bras are made strong to last and support a heavy bust.

I knew Bravissimo bras tended to run a bit small and closed-on-top, but I've been wanting a bright red bra, and I like the lace pattern, so I decided to try this out when it went on sale. It is a very pretty bra in person, IMO. Unfortunately, this definitely seems to run at least 1 cup size smaller than Panache Jasmine (which fits me in 32K, though 32KK would probably be better if it came in that size). The cup is too shallow at the bottom and too closed on top due to the elastic band added to the top of the stretch lace. It's possible that ... the former would be fixed by a larger cup size, but I think it would still be too closed in larger size.

The quality seems good pretty good (similar level to Ewa Michalak), but not sturdy enough for very large cup sizes. Compared to Panache Jasmine (my best fitting bra) the elastic at the bottom of the band is narrower (meaning it's more likely to distort and dig in over time and will provide less even band tension), and the straps are too stretchy, so they would also likely fold under pressure over time.
