I have always read comments about how comfortable the Sunnie bras are at Aerie, but unfortunately for me, Sunnie had only come in the full coverage style and full coverage has never fit my shallow breasts very well. I was so excited to see that Aerie had recently come out with some new Sunnie bras but in the demi style. I did not hesitate to make a purchase. I ordered it in solid navy and I have to say that this is the most comfortable bra I have ever owned. You don't even realize that you have it on. The straps are fully adjustable (unlike the Aerie Hannah ...bras that I own) and partially separates into 2 about 2/3 the length of the entire strap (but this does not affect adjusting the strap). It also covers all of my breast tissue. Of course, when I first tried it on, the band was really tight. I had considered exchanging it for a 32B, but decided to keep it for a while in hopes that with a couple of wears it would stretch to a comfortable fit, and it did just that. I plan to purchase a few more in different colors.
Update: After wearing this bra for a while, the band did stretch to a comfortable fit but the cup doesn't come in enough (there is a gap) to enclose my breasts. My breasts are too shallow to fit this bra. So no, I will not be purchasing more in different colors. Read more 144 more words
This bra is really uncomfortable. The seams cut into me, the tags itch, the underwire bruises the sides of my ribs, it doesn't breathe. I still wear it occasionally and it is not too uncomfortable for the first 2-3 hours I wear it. 30D - Aerie » Katie Lightly Lined (4441-7167).
I like this bra a lot. It is very comfortable, currently my most comfortable bra. It is called a push up but it really does not feel or look any different than my lightly lined bras, but that is possibly because I wear it so much. It is the 30D - Aerie » Bridget Vintage Lace Pushup Bra (9732-3140).
This bra really pushes you boobs together since the underwire doesnt scoop in the middle, but rather meets in a vertical line. Sometimes the skin under my boobs will fold together, which seems extreme. Also, the racerback makes my boobs look fantastic, but my shoulders can't deal with that stress, as the support comes totally from the straps, and not the band at all. The band also is tighter on top and bottom, so there are some bulges on the side if wearing tight clothes.
I love this bra, and own probably 8-10 of them in various colors. I've gained a little weight since I bought them all, and they were probably always a little looser in the band than they should have been on me, but the cups fit me perfectly at the time. They're silky and seamless, lightly lined with a soft pad that hasn't wrinkled through numerous washings, and well-shaped for someone with a more sloping breast shape. The center gore is low and wide at the base, which is a great fit for my "splayed" breast type. The wings and back are double-layered microfiber satin with enclosed elastic - very smooth and comfortable. The closure panel has a very soft backing and is tagless. The slender straps are great with tanks and camis, although not the absolute best for comfort/support. I think now if I had this style in a 32DD, it would once again be my daily go-to bra.
A few years ago at the end of our summer traveling I noticed something in the photos we'd brought back. In many of the photos I'm wearing strapless shirts, or spaghetti strap shirts, and I look like I've tied some sort of sling to the bottom part of my boobs and tried to stretch it over them, unsuccessfully. In some of the photos I'm certain I'm wearing a strapless bra, and if I recall correctly, it was size 32B. The strapless bras I wear now are size 32D, but just a few years ago, trying to find a 32 band (at all) with a cup larger ...than B was virtually impossible. I included one of the photos that was acceptable, but still shows the depth of my ignorance about what bras are supposed to do! So now I wear 32D bras that are strapless, have firm, no-slide bands, and allow my breast tissue to enter the actual cups of the bra. In the photo I've shared, I can't even tell where the cups wound up...but I'm sure they are pulling my tissue down down down. Aerie's Summer Multi-way Bra ensures that I will never have another experience like having 4 distinct breasts on my chest, plus two mini boobs in my armpits. Thank you Aerie for not stopping at B cups!!!! Read more 118 more words
I liked how this fit a lot, but the cups were too tall for me and dug into my tail of spence - this seems to be a trend for me for Aerie racerbacks, and was a problem with this one because of embroidery on it. I'm going to try this model on a non racerback and I think it will fit great for me.
Not a 1-00% perfect fit, but a great fit for being on a budget and needing to replace all of my bras. This and the Blakely are my favourite from Aerie in this size range
This was an alright bra for me. At times the side wires dug into my ribcage and it was a bit painful, but it wasn't an all day thing. Otheriwse it was comfortable and fit well.
The fit on this one is not as good as Blakely, for me, but is still acceptable - the cups aren't too wide to the point that they're uncomfortable, and the material the bra is made out if is so soft and comfy.
I've recently been resized and Aerie was one of the first places I tried to find new bras due to price and availability where I am. This is my favourite of all of the styles they have available in my size - I'm short and short waisted, and the cups are narrow enough that nothing digs in anywhere it shouldn't.
My only negative comment is the shape is a little pointier than I would like, but I can definitely live with that
This is a good cheap strapless option (when on sale). Its a bit small, shallow, and wide for me but overall not the worst fit (and all strapless are shallow and wide). Since aerie offers free shipping and returns I recommend giving this a shot of you need a strapless and fit the size range!
Soft like a fluffy, cozy blanket. Extremely comfortable. Padded cups similar to swimsuit cups, really help with "lift", but don't add bulk. Too lacy to wear under tight shirts without looking bumpy, but perfect under "yoga" type shirts and sweatshirts.
This is a pull-on bra and the straps are not adjustable. This bra is made of an incredibly cushy, buttery fabric that seems to just melt into softness. It's light as air and silky smooth. It feels "cuddly", and it's a great bra for lounging that also works beautifully under t-shirts or high collared shirts. It gives a "natural" (not rounded or pointed) shape. I am FOB and these cups seem to be created for my shape. It's a pull-over bra, so if the band doesn't fit, there's no way to adjust it. Also, the straps aren't adjustable; they're sewn in place. The size 32C fits well for ...me, although I think a 30D or DD would offer quite a bit more support. I like that these cups don't squash my tissue very much, (many wirefree bras cause flattening in front and rolls where rolls should not be). It does creep onto lower breast tissue, but I think that's because it's a 32 not a 30. Aerie does not make this bra with a 30 band...drat.. Without an underwire, it's difficult to get all the tissue into the cups and keep it there, but the wonderful tall sides and superior side support slings do an excellent job at keeping boobs front and center (for a bra with no underwire). For a wireless bra, Sunnie is kind of pretty. She's not sexy, but she's not matronly either. She's cute, versatile, and it comes in many colors and strap styles. Read more 140 more words

This is "padded" in that it has lightweight, foam molded cups. The padding is fairly thin. It wears nearly exactly like the regular Aerie bralettes, except, strangely, it doesn't feel quite as supportive. I think, in my case, the molded cups push away from my body because they don't cover all my breast tissue. With the sheer models I can scoop all my tissue into the cups, so I get come shape and support. This bralette is beautiful, but I prefer the "non-padded" versions. Also, the straps on this are ridiculously long and I had to alter them.
This is, by far, the prettiest wire-free bra I've ever seen. It is considered by Aerie to be a "bralette" so it does not have standard bra sizing. It comes in the vague size range of XS-XL. My band size is generally 30, so I chose XS, because bralette cups are stretchy, and they obviously aren't supposed to provide support like regular bras. Also, this is a pull-over piece, like most bralettes. This bralette is padded, in that it has 2 small triangles of thin, bathing-suit type liner-pads for a bit of modestly and shaping. The pads help a little at keeping tissue in place, but they aren't large enough to encompass tissue, so I get bulges in all the wrong places. If the sides were taller, like with other bralettes, this would not be a problem, but the frame on this particular bralette is closer to that of a longline bra. I love the t-back, esp. under off-the shoulder shirts. It looks so pretty.
This bralette is beautiful and very sexy. My husband adores it. It is incredibly soft and comfortable. It doesn't provide "lift" or push-up or anything, but it's surprisingly supportive. It controls "jiggle" well and it's so lovely I want it to show through clothing!
Ouch! congratulations and thank you Aerie too!
